Wow, what an awful dinning experience and unsanitary. Called in an order for pick up and the person on the phone was more interested in getting me off the phone than paying attention to what I was ordering. Also I was put on hold 3 times, which I can understand if the place is busy, but when I showed up 5 minutes later to pick up my food there was no one in the restaurant. When I arrived I went up to the counter and someone from the kitchen had to ask me what I ordered...seriously? Whats the point of taking my order and my name if I then I have re-order it when I show up...shouldn't they just say "whats the name" or something to that extent? At this point I am wondering who took my order (because the person from the kitchen's voice didn't sound like the one on the phone). After I'm standing there for 5 minutes this elderly lady (grandma I presume, looks like a family run business) then decides to get up from her meal, walk around the counter, and tell me my food will be ready in 5 minutes. BINGO, this is the lady that took my order over the phone (same voice). What sort of customer service is that? When a customer walks in you dont continue chatting and eating with your family and then several minutes later decide to pay attention to your job. We ordered the chicken with garlic sauce and the twin flavor chicken with a side of egg rolls. We both tried each others dish, and apart from the meat being different, the sauces were exactly the same, so clearly they didn't make what we ordered. The egg rolls were disgusting and for some reason they had beef in it.....last I checked egg rolls do not have beef in them. To top it all off I found a HAIR IN MY FOOD....that is disgusting and unsanitary. The restaurant itself is a mess. There is a hole bunch of cluttered junk all over the place and there is only 2 tables with enough seating for maybe 8 people. Never coming back here again. Recap: 1. inattentive/uncaring customer service 2. food was nasty and not what we ordered 3. found a hair in my food, unsanitary 4, restaurant was a mess

Very oily pork and very dry rice. Sauce was so so.

Horrible excuse for a Chinese restaurant. And the signature dish 'Ginger Beef' is terrible.

TL;DR: The food was so confusing I'm not sure how to write this…read more Okay. Let's start with the good: our server was wonderful. Perfect. No notes. A total joy. We laughed about the item I wanted to order not being available. They were attentive to the older ladies I was with. No complaints. The server is why this is two stars instead of one. Sadly, the food. Sigh. I know all these fusion places are disappointing, but mom wanted to come here. I asked if I could get the salad I wanted without the beef it comes with, but the answer was no. After reading the way too big menu twice, I ordered what I knew would be an incredibly sad drunken noodle. I'm not sure the restaurant knows what drunken noodle is. Does Fuse Box exist in an alternate pocket dimension where drunken noodle, with no listed fusion on the menu other than a strange "contains peanuts" warning, is drenched in a sweet peanut sauce even though it's listed as spicy with two peppers next to it on the menu? Where the noodles are just weird soggy mush? Where the spiciness rating scale might actually be a sweet sugar scale instead? Yes. Yes it does. Don't eat here. Just don't. I refused to eat my food. And not even mom suggesting it again in the distant future when she thinks I've forgotten, or she's forgotten my reaction to the food, will get me to return.

We came here for dim sum since we heard they had changed chefs a while ago. Very old school Chinese…read morerestaurant decor along with the paper placemat with Chinese zodiac printed around the border! Yall know what I'm talking about lol! Ordered a large variety of dim sum, a salt and pepper pork chop dish, and a whole Peking duck! Everything came out hot and fresh so no complaints there. Let's talk taste though... Peking duck was just ok, very dark in color and did not have that authentic taste. I would not recommend this place for their Peking duck. Even the wrappers had a weird taste the fried salt and pepper pork chops lacked both salt and pepper! The dim sum was again just ok, like if you need your fix and didn't feel like driving too far, then here is fine. Service was great and food came out pretty fast. My one star off is for taste and authenticity, prob a non Chinese would find this place great.

With a name like Hot Peppercorn, I was expecting some fiery Sichuan food for dinner. The dumplings…read morein hot oil were more like dumplings in mildly spicy water. The sesame noodles were just lo mein noodles with a tiny drizzle of sauce and a few sesame seeds, no real flavor except dough. The Chongqing chicken had some pieces that were refrigerator-level cold, the chiles had just been dumped on top and not stir-fried with the chicken, and there were zero Sichuan peppercorns, so not mala at all. The chicken fried rice and the scallion pancakes were overcooked, and there was no sauce with the pancakes. Asked for utensils and hot oil, received neither.
