    Grilled Chicken Pita and Mythos
    Shelby M.

My entire family loves Taste. We have visited Greece and the wraps are very authentic to what you get in Greece. My favorite item is the Grilled Chicken Pita. The chicken is hot off the grill, taste sauce is good and I love the it comes stuffed with a few fries just like in Greece! My family also really likes the chicken gyros and pork chop platter. We also enjoy picking up items like Greek Honey or Caprice cookies when they have them. On my last visit I had a Mythos which took me right back to sitting on the beach on the Greek Islands. I enjoy the decor as well. My only gripe is still the seating. We are a family of bad backs and sitting at the picnic table benches is incredibly uncomfortable for us. I wish I could pull a chair out of the gaming lounge. This place is a must try!!!!!

Excellent food, quick friendly service. Good portions for the price. Chicken Souvlaki and the Chicago Gyro Plate were both great...house tzatziki was next level.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat in and overall really liked the restaurant itself and the food was great. We have a greek salad with grilled chicken, a falafel plate, and a side skewer of chicken souvlaki. The salad was excellent, very fresh and great quality produce! The grilled chicken was juicy and well seasoned, we loved the skewer and the breast meat chunks in the salad. The falafel was good, but VERY heavily seasoned with black pepper to the point it was off putting but edible. I would like to ho back and try thecdalafel again though it seemed like maybe just a heavy hand that day type of thing. The rice was EXCELLENT! Not oily or greasy at all just nicely steamed with bell peppers and maybe butter? Idk but it was delicious. Great little place to stop in for a quick bite!

Stopped here with a friend for lunch. Both ordered Gyros. I had traditional, my friend had pork. Both came with some big fries wrapped up in it. I did not like them and pulled them out. The gyro wrap was nothing special and the tzatziki sauce was bland. My friend who is from Greece had the same take on their wrap. Wasn't terrible but no reason to go out of your way. Place was clean, a plus. 3 is being nice.

Dry Gyro plate was way over cooked! Pita hard, sauce was so so. Friendly service. Ambience was sit down clean. Based on food it was very dry but had a good portion it was between a 6-7 on 10 being the best on flavor

Really great food but there is room for improvement. I got 2, yes 2, fries wrapped up with my pita today. For takeout orders: The tzatziki sauce should always be served separately in a little plastic container. By the time you get home the sauce is warm and separated.

We went to the grocery store nearby and gave this place a try. They had three parking spots reserved for pickup orders; there is a QR code on each spot, and you can order from your car on your phone. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greater by a rustic beachy vibe. All of the tables had long backless picnic benches, and the large hightop table had back stools. All of us are over 60 and had trouble getting in and out of the benches and would appreciate a traditional chair option. The menu is extensive and only over the counter. We were standing there for a few minutes and had questions. My friend said he felt rushed by he counter staff. There were three other tables there, but the restaurant did not seem busy. We got our food and found huge portions. They use red onion at this lace, and other gyro stands in Chicago I have been to use white onion, but it did not deter from the sandwich. The gyro platter had 1/2 pound of meat, plenty of onion slices and half of a large tomato, sliced. I had the pork gyro; I found it vary salty. I am not sure if the pork gyro was the same as the pork belly gyro featured as on Tuesdays for $8. Two of my other friends had the chicken gyro. We had to ask because they also had a grilled chicken pita. The difference is that the grilled chicken pita is a chicken breast on the char grill, and the chicken gyro is white and dark meat cooked on a spigot. Again, there is a huge amount of food. On the chicken gyro, surprisingly, the sandwich had two fries inside, both chicken Gyros and my pork gyro had two fried potatoes each. I also had a grilled bone-in pork chop that was delicious and for $4.50, well worth it as an add-on. We all felt it as worthy of a second visit.

    Cute stuff to buy.

Delicious food! I had chicken souvlaki plate with a small Greek salad. Dude had gyros with feta fries. There was an up charge for the added feta and other stuff, but the price was worth every cent. The fries tasted amazing. It's a cute place for sit in or take out. The building is on its own in the parking lot near Jewel foods. There are cute picnic tables and wild hanging rope chandeliers. You have to see to believe. Service is really friendly and professional.

Another great dinner at Foxtail!…read more We had to come back to try more of the menu, and this time we ordered: * Pork belly bruschetta: 5/10. Unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend this dish. * Foxtail paella: 8/10 flavorful orzo paella loaded with seafood. Definitely a sharing type of entree! Always a great time at Foxtail with great food and great service!

As you enter there is a small dining area with a grand piano. Piano player on Fridays and Saturdays. Down a short hall is the bar area with 5 high top tables. Then there is the patio, which I have to say, looks very inviting for when it is not 100 degrees with high humidity. Oh yes, the food . . . outstanding ~ southern Italian with very generous portions. The meatball appetizer and a salad would have made a meal, but that's not why you are here. We went with the chicken parm and chicken Limone. Delicious and plenty to take home for at least one additional meal. Can't forget dessert. Make sure to save room ~ gelato and vanilla cheesecake (flavor changes) were probably some of the best I've ever had. If you cannot tell, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning. It has earned every award that it has received.

Saw my favorite waiter Rich and said hello. Angie took care of us last night, she was friendly and engaging. They were short-staffed unexpectedly so we were patient during our dining experience. We started with cocktails and I was happy to revisit the leatherneck, which I had on my previous visit. I added a sugared rim and it was perfection. The highlights of our dining experience were the brie with caramelized walnuts & honey, my husband's pappardelle dinner, and the tiramisu. The owner Steve came by the table a few times to talk to us. We met him the first time we dined at Dolce. It's evident that he cares about his customers and his business, and who doesn't love a little attention from the owner? If you dine at Dolce, save room for the tiramisu. It's so light and creamy.
