Stopped by here again and I'll have to say the service is top of the line the 2 ladies there today were so helpful and nice and always help explain all the options they offer which are a lot. Today I ended up getting the Strawberry Banana smoothie with lychee jelly and mango boba which is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend. As for the store it is well taken care of and really clean , the service is definitely 5 stars just absolutely a great staff every time I go . This place has a very cute in"tea"rior and seating to chill on your own or in small groups, the worker was also nice and super quick in making our drinks. I ordered the Peach Me Freezie slush packed with strawberries and peach, it did successfully combat the hot temperatures of the weekend, but I'll definitely order it with less sugar next time; the 100% sugar amount was too sweet for my complete enjoyment. BEWARE! I'm from CA and I was placing an order using the Tastetea app. I was at the last steps - about to make my payment, but I wanted to double check on my payment (so I went back got the menu, thinking the payment settings is there), it wasn't, so I just gave up and proceed with my order. I placed the order and realized immediately it was for the wrong location (Arizona), I'm guessing the app automatically changes your location if you go back to the menu page (without my knowledge)... funny enough, it didn't modify my drinks, just my location... Anyway, I immediately clicked cancel order but the app says to call the place. I called and the supervisor who picked up told me they've already made some of the drinks and can only issue a partial refund. I confronted her as it's only been less than one minute, how is it possible that you've made some of the drinks already.... and she just kept insisting that she can't do anything about it. I then asked her how many drinks have she made and she said all.... how did she go from a few drinks to all??? Anyway, I just want other customers to be aware of this... it's not about the money, but this is absolutely absurd... it took them less than 1 minute to make 3 drinks... which I find hard to believe. I also have pictures of my order time and the time stamp of when I called them Tastea as proof.... The supervisor also told me a lot of people also experienced something similar from other states... so I'm not sure why they didn't change the auto changing address feature in the app... Very friendly service! The employee was very helpful in helping me decide on a drink to choose from. The menu may seem overwhelming at first but the good thing about that is every items sounds really good. The place is also clean and they do a good job enforcing social distancing. Of all the delivery I've ordered this year, Tastea was some of the most fun. I was spending time in the west valley and struggling to find a coffee place, when I said to myself "heck, let's get some Vietnamese coffee instead of the usual". The menu was so intriguing that I ended up ordering a lot more than that. Stuff I absolutely loved: That fried shrimp (spice level 2) was delectable and I could not get enough. Keep these away from me, I will gorge on a whole large box if I am not stopped Stuff I really liked: Coffee with salted cream, as well as the Taro smoothie. My sweetheart had never tried Taro before, and it's my favorite flavor of smoothie/milk tea, so I hoped theirs would be adequate. It was, she loved it as much as I did. Stuff that was OK: The chicken, at a spice level 4 was about as hot as I can handle without running for water. But it was not nearly as flavorful as the shrimp. Not bad though, especially with the "weak sauce" which is just a sweet chili sauce. Overall, I wouldn't expect this to be particularly satisfying if you're hungry. Most tea rooms seem to have more small bites, even if some of the morsels here are fantastic. But when it comes to getting drinks, it's as good as anything you'll find in the area. This is my favorite boba place in the west valley and this is, as far as I know, the only place with customizable sugar free options. That is, a lot of the drinks can be made sugar free using their stevia sweetener. Have yet to find another place that does that. This is also one of the few that use fresh fruit and have consistent quality in drinks. Staff is nice and quick. There's an awards system, not great but it's there. Vegetarians please note: their fries are fried in the same oil as the chicken, shrimp, etc so best avoid those. Still the best place for drinks. My favorite is the mango milk tea. read more

Short Review: If you live in California, you'd know that Tastea is one of the first few boba tea establishment. They have many chains in California, but this is their first in Arizona. I haven't tried many of their drinks yet, but if it is what I imagine from their California Tastea, then you should go and try it yourself. I recommend it. Long Review: I've been here once in Arizona, but many times in California. This Tastea Location is in Glendale near the freeway. When arriving at this location, there are plenty of parking spots and a few shop in the area. Going inside, it certainly has an Arizona vibe in comparison to California. It wasn't cramped and small like the one in CA. Inside was clean and has that green, orange and yellow color which honestly, reminds me of Arizona because of the hot desert (Sun, Sand, and Cactus). As always, overwhelmed by the menu, it took me a few minutes to figure what I wanted. I decided to get their Golden Milk Tea and their current new drink for the summer called Tropical Bliss. After I ordered, it took about 4 - 5 minutes for my drinks to be ready. Golden Milk Tea: Creamy, malty, and sweet. What more do you want? This is the perfect milk tea for anybody that wants a solid milk tea that isn't overbearing with the bitter taste, not too overly sweetened, and not milky like drinking milk and sugar. It was like drinking a roasted caramelized milk tea. Tropical Bliss: Jasmine Green Tea as their base tea with a mixture of fruit juice involving pineapple, orange, and guava. When you start to mix multiple fruit juice, it can be difficult to discern the taste of the drink, but amazingly, tropical bliss does gives the hint of jasmine, while tasting pineapple, orange, and guava. In some sense, it combines so well, you can taste the fruits harmonizing one to another. A great drink for a hot summer, especially in Arizona. Conclusion, I will be trying out more of their drinks in the future, but so far so good. In quantity, an A and in quality an -A. For quantity, for a large, it is more than any other boba shop for about the same price. As far as it goes, quality is good as long as they are consistent. read more

Visited this establishment because we just wanted to get a treat. Ordering online was really convenient. We ordered Thai milky tea, Matcha Thai milk tea and Taro milk tea all with honey boba. The order is as to be ready in 7 minuets. We got there and the order was ready. The place is nondescript. The girls were not exactly friendly. The one closest to the pickup window asked me my name. I told her then she walked away and reached in a cabinet to grab straws. One straw was on the counter but I had to wait for the others. There were two other cUstomer of which all of us had masks on. Neither worker was wearing a mask or gloves. Just seemed like they should at least have gloves on. Maybe that is just me. The drinks were fIne but pretty expensive $6.85 for a 32 oz and $.60 for boba. I left a tip but the service didn't really deserve one. read more

I've found my people. Literally the muse of my boba joints has finally come to Arizona. And they're all the way in freaking Gilbert. Everything I know and love about Tastea is here, because the menu is exactly the same. Fruit teas with real bits, translucent green honey boba, and take home jugs for the maniacal feeding parties back home. My bias has always been the Lychee Peachee Lite sweet with honey boba. There's food offerings as well like fries and popcorn chicken with various spice levels as well. I think there's a rewards program now through their app but the iOS one at least is a little buggy. Bright side is it carries over to other locations if you ever find yourself in SoCal. Kind of hard to describe without having it yourself, but it's the best pearls I've had and I hate pearls. Actual flavor from the honey and not just bland starch, just the right amount of chew, plus the green is hilarious for Instagram. Came for the lychee, but I stayed for everything. He asked how much heat I wanted the chicken and glad he told me to go with the Me Soooo Spicy with Weak Sauce. The weak sauce is basically a sweet and sour sauce. With the level of heat from the chicken, it goes very well with the tangy sweet and sour flavor weak sauce. The chicken comes with about three basil leaf. I've never had a Matcha Thai Milk Tea so I decided to try that. It has a nice taste to it. Hope to come back to try a different flavor drinks. read more

I'd highly recommend their several items on their menu depending on what you are looking for, I feel they truly have an option for everyone's taste. For their milk teas, the classic matcha milk tea, is very good. Very traditional and I believe they use organic matcha? If you want something more unique and new but still want that milk tea consistency, I'd recommend the horchata milk tea, the rice water and cinnamon flavors are rich.
