Found this place on yelp. Called in an order and it was ready when I arrived. I ordered a salmon with broccoli and onions with rice. I was asked about adding cheese on top. This place is pretty unique by menu. Definitely a must try. I didn't get the opportunity to try the actual food though. I purchased it 45 minutes before closing , prep time we were told was 30 min, then the establishment closed. I live a hour away and trying to call to speak with someone to work it out is a pain thus far. So still try my foodies, just arrive early as heck and ask for a receipt. Not sure if the cashier was having a bad day or not... there was a lot of eye rolling going on between her and other staff. I had several things that I ordered, instead of bringing everything out at once it was coming out as they finished. I am so happy I found this place! My husband got off of work and I said, "babe, I have a new place to try!" Of course he was a little bit skeptical, because who wants to try something new??? From the time I walked into the restaurant it was small, but the aroma made my mouth water. I glanced over the menu for a few moments before ordering the Shrimp Griller for myself and the salmon griller for my husband. Neither of us got the pineapple but I can only imagine how good that is! Customer Service Cashier tried to STEAL $20 from me! I took my dad to lunch last month here and when I first walked in it was a women standing to the side, I assumed she had already ordered and I approached the cashier. Seconds later the Manager (I'm assuming) comes around the corner with a mop and says "Sorry sweetie it's a wet spot" When I looked down I realized I had walked thru the drink that the women on the side had spilled. I'm like "Oh lord" (Yes, the women and cashier let me just walk ALL in it‍) Now let's fast forward to me paying. The cashier said that my total was "$23 something" I give her a $20 bill and told her to wipe for the rest! Y'all ...... this women swipes for 19.19 (have the bank statements to prove it) then looks at me dead in my face and says "Ok you're food will be up shortly" (with a smirk) ............The PLOT TWIST was that I have my Bank Notifications are on for each transaction! If I would have walked away! She would've tipped herself over $15 dollars y'all! Not to mention we still didn't have our food! I told her "You know you swiped my card for 19.19 right?" She says (& I swear to y'all) "Oh yeah I know, I was looking at that"...... (excuse my language) But BITCH WHAT! You know?!! (And of course I didn't say this out loud) I told her "It's fine you can just give me my change back" She tells me (with a full tip jar) "I'm just going to have to swipe your card again and cancel the whole order" I told her "No we're not swiping my card again, Just give me my Change!!" Because it's like you knew you messed but you were still going to try to steal my money?? I wasn't about to give that girl my card again! Thank God by the time all of this is happening that same manger came around the corner because she hear's me and this girl going back and forth about my change (we're not loud But we're the only ones in there at the time, so it echos) When the cashier see's the women it's like she snapped back into reality and just shoved my change back to me! I just looked at the women and told her "I'm sorry but this is my first time here and my experience has not been good" And walked away. I didn't tell her that her cashier just tired to steal $20 dollars from me! I went to the car with my father, the manager sent the same cashier out trying to give us "free drinks", we declined. She sent her back out and asked if we wanted a "refund", we declined Because sometimes it's not about FREE stuff. Sometimes it's about respecting your customers! I went for lunch with a co-worker who had been wanting to try it for a while. I was definitely not disappointed. The store was clean and refreshing. The young lady that was taking orders we very pleasant and even made suggestions. AND the FOOD......it was amazing!! I love the mango chili sauce for the wings and the alfredo had a really good taste. I even took my mother back the next day! I ended up picking up an Uber delivery from here and couldn't wait to try it out. I came back the next day excited and ready to order. I decided on the shrimp pineapple griller untilI was told the total was over $16 without a drink. I do not like that the menu is so misleading as I feel like they are tricking customers into orders. The menu reads only one price for the create-your-own price based on protein. Most of them $9.99. While the staff does great a recommending things to try they are horrible at disclosing pricing. The pineapple griller is an extra $4.50 and even after opting out the pineapple base the meal was still about $13. The cashier never explained why but I feel like they charge for everything they advertise as being an option to include in the bowl but THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL PRICES LISTED. The portion was a decent size and the food was very flavorful but there were 3 shrimp on a skewer and more cheese then vegetables. That is why I feel the food is kind of ridiculously overpriced. This location is NOT in a good area at all so that makes the high price even more offensive. Also, after charging $20 for half a pineapple filled with rice and cheese you'd think they'd have a bathroom for customers but nope. I had to walk my 3 year old to the grocery store at the end of the plaza to use the bathroom(which was in the back of the store, through some double doors, and up a flight of stairs). Place is located in a strip mall. I got the pineapple bowl with chicken and a couple of veggies. Pros: Cheap prices Con: They have ants all over the floor towards the kitchen. Pineapple bowl is more rice with bits of meat in it, so basically you're really paying for the pineapple. Also, if I would of looked at their health score, I wouldn't have ordered. They have a 80. Anything lower than a 90 is failing in my book. The food wasn't that great, probably wouldn't be back. read more
