But best of all, the food was fantastic! I had the Chicken Fried Chicken with the gravy on the side. It was amazing! I am always hesitant about restaurant gravy, but this was good!! The biscuit was amazing, and the chicken was nice and crispy! My husband had an omelet, and it was delicious, and huge! On our second visit, I had the Mediterranean Avocado Toast. I think I might order this every time! It was your usual avocado toast, with the addition of feta cheese and cucumbers! It was heaven! The hubby had eggs Benedict. Went for breakfast with a few friends to the newly opened Naperville occasion. So many yummy looking options it was hard to choose! They currently don't have a gluten-free menu but plenty of options for my friend to choose from. I had the Espanola omelette which had chicken chorizo-delicious and plenty to take home after I ate the pancakes and potatoes or fruit that comes with it. The options are endless with skillets, avocado toast, waffles, biscuits and beignets to name a few. It's a really cute atmosphere and our waitress was patient with us with all our questions. UPDATE!! So... the magic has died along with my waffle. Went back yesterday, because last time, it was worth the drive and the price. Not this time. ($120 for 3 people) The donuts were still just as good, although 2 of them had raw dough inside. The crepes were good- but very sweet. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The service lacked attention. The pecan waffle was awful. Cold, crumbly and dry. We explained to the waitress and she asked if we would like something else- yes, please and thank you. The cinnamon French toast was better. But why did it have a mound of bananas on it. No idea- the menu clearly says you can add it but we didn't request it. Either way, we were charged for both entrees. When we went up to pay, I kindly explained about the waffle- she said it clearly explains on the menu that it is a simple dish only sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Ours had no cinnamon or sugar. Cold, dry and awful. Either way, we paid for the stupid waffle. And the 2nd entree. After the anticipation of going to our new favorite place that we drove a distance for has been crushed, we won't be back. Although the steak was prepared well-done, the skillet was good. The portion size was enough to take home. The pancakes were actually better than your average pancakes.
