Turkish Burger: Good and fresh! Pastrami wasn't very noticeable though.
    Kelly N.

My bf and I dined here on a Saturday at around 6pm. There weren't any other tables, but there were a couple of to-go orders during the 30 minutes we were there. The woman taking our order at the counter was very nice, but we encountered a problem when trying to find a table. There were a ton of ants at the table by the window in the raised floor section. We decided to sit at the table closest to the menu on their window, and I still ended up seeing an ant on my chair. No other reviews seem to have encountered this problem, so it may be a recent thing, but I wouldn't dine in again because of this. Hopefully they take care of it soon, because the food was good enough to come back, but I'd just get it to-go. TURKISH BURGER: This was good! Everything tasted fresh! There were a lot of pickle slices, not just one or two. The pastrami was a little crispy, but I couldn't really taste it. I thought it was an interesting combo, but since it was barely noticeable, it felt like a pretty normal burger. The "crisp onion" is a single onion ring in the center, also not very noticeable. Even though it felt pretty basic in the end, it tasted like really good quality. I really enjoyed it! DIABLO BURGER: Unfortunately, there was a visible produce tag still on the tomato. My bf picked it off, but it wasn't a great start to the meal. He also saw that there was only one slice of cheese when he paid $1.29 for extra cheese. And there was no guac, even though it lists it as an ingredient on the menu...For the actual burger, it was good. The jalalpenos were cooked or pickled or something, not raw, and added a nice heat to the burger. The onion ring had a visibly spicy seasoning on it. Overall, solid burger, even with so many mistakes. FRIES: These came with our burgers and were good and delicately crispy! Not sure what they were seasoned with, maybe cajun seasoning? But they were well seasoned and had a nice kick to them! Most of the problems we had were because of mistakes the cook made, so I feel bad not rating the restaurant higher when the food was actually good, but it was just a lot of mistakes for one meal. And hopefully, they take care of those ants soon, before they spread.

Delicious sandwich and fries. The staff was super friendly and food came out quickly. Very fresh and hot.

I didn't know this was a Greek place until we got there. I thought it was just a burger place and then I ended up not even getting a burger! I got the chicken gyro with fries and it was pretty good. I'm not sure if they had one of the rotating grills, but it didn't look like they had one. Two of my coworkers got Philly cheesesteaks and they said they were great and then my other coworker got the chicken shawarma plate and said it was just alright. I probably wouldn't suggest this as a team lunch but I'd be down to go if someone else suggested it.

New Deep Fried Oreos added to the menu and they're delicious!

The burgers are the best. Make sure to try them out, they're HUGE. Always calm environment.

Top: Double Cheeseburger Bottom: ABC Burger

honestly one of the best burgers i've had in a while. we've been craving some good quality, classic american burgers, and this hole in the wall hit the spot! the inside was nice and clean, and the burgers tasted like how a burger should taste like. great soft buns, real ingredients and strong beef flavor we got the double cheeseburger as well as the ABC burger. both traditional choices that you can't go wrong with. the fries were also very nice and potato-esque. definitely will come by next time to get more of their fancier menu items!

I really enjoyed this little place! It's a small hole in the wall kind of spot tucked away in a small shopping center. The food was great, good portion size and flavor! It was interesting because I felt like I was at a nice restaurant but then I also thought the food was made by my auntie with lots of love! We ordered the Turkish burger and the mushroom burger and both had good flavor, and the burger patty itself was nice and juicy not over cooked!! The service was good but be patient with them as it's a small staff doing all the things together! We will definitely go back also it was nice to support another Turkish business!!

    Chicken gyro

My husband got the ABC burger and I got the chicken gyro, it's the best take out we've had in ages. We were so surprised that the store was empty when we went in. Like others have said it's super underrated. The owner was so kind too! Will definitely return.

The Philly cheesesteak was delicious with great flavor, though I would have liked a little more meat. The onion rings came out hot and crispy, and the crinkle-cut fries were also very good. It wasn't that busy but I'm guessing they spend time on making the sandwiches. Friendly owner/employees. Overall, the food was enjoyable, the portions were reasonable, and I'd definitely come back again.

It is not easily visible from the street but there is a sign on Gessner that will help you find it. Inside it's a counter service restaurant. I wanted a cheesesteak but had a little difficulty finding it on the menu because it's located under the heading From The Grill and there it's called a Philly Steak. For a place that has cheesesteaks in its name I thought that it should have a section with that name somewhere on the menu. So I ordered a Philly Steak for $9.99 and added an order of fries for another $3.49 along with a canned soft drink. The food took less than 10 minutes. The sandwich came with the requisite meat, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and provolone cheese all on a soft bread bun, it was very good tasting but I wanted more content inside the bun. The Philly Cheesesteaks that I have had in the Philly area had more meat, cheese and everything else. I would have gladly paid $2-3 more for that. Like I said, very good tasting but give me more filling! The fries were large crinkle cut ones and were served hot but they were also a little soggy in the middle. Perhaps undercooked? Finally they charge extra for a credit card without any signage I saw other than when the clerk ran up the bill. I wanted to give a 4 score but have to go with a 3 instead.

We really enjoyed everything but my personal favorites were the grilled chicken with rice, fish sauce wings, and the vermicelli noodles with beef. So simple but so full of flavor and delicious!! I also got a cafe sua da and added the pandan cream. It was really really good. I was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to go back!!! 5 stars for food and service! Great addition to the neighborhood

I wanted a pork chop or steak and saw this place and their pork chop. It looked great online. When I get there I ate at the bar. It was a coffee bar. Again- I should have done more research. So I was given a menu then I ordered the pork shop. And then the waiter said is that I and proceeded to give me my total. Another thing I have researched. It's counter service. Then I said I just wanted water. I waited for it and he said we have to help ourselves to drinks (later). So ok. Fine. Then later he told me they were out of pork chops. So I got the short ribs with the grits. The ribs were tender. They were tasty. The grits were good. The veg was good as well. I'd give the food a 4 but I would think, since they make their own pastries, they would make a bread to serve with dinner! But no bread so that drops it down a point or 2. I had ordered (pre-paid) for the bread pudding. It was good, legit bread pudding. The place itself is a coffee bar so it looks and acts like a coffee bar. Now to the coffee bar. Someone there ordered and espresso drink. They don't have a knock box and so he proceeded to knock out the very old puck into a trash can under the sink then rinsed it. Then the shot glass looked like it had been there unrinsed from the morning. Then as he proceeded to make the espresso- he had to fill the espresso machine (with tap water). Last- it was Aerosmith on repeat. I like them as much as the next guy, but how about some variety. I guess if I lived in the area I might go back to try their breakfast. Anyway- I ubered there and I wish now I would have just eaten at the hotel bar.

If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side.
