Good Chinese cuisine buffet style in the heart of Pomona next to the physical therapy clinic and barbershop too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Huge restaurant with 200 seats available capacity and only 3 female staff to service every customer and only one restroom available for men and women.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of free parking available outside. Watch the FIFA World Cup here for free too. They have a different dish for each person here and wide selection of fresh hot meats and fried tilapia too. Save some room for dessert especially the real ice cream sundae with hot chocolate. Go Team USA tonight against Turkey. Enjoy your weekend everyone. God bless you and your family.

Decent Chinese buffet. They have a Mongolian grill type service (grab your noodles and toppings and give to the guy to stir fry), sushi, ice cream, soups, and a small variety of other dishes. The variety is pretty small but the food is good albeit on the saltier side. There's also a chocolate fountain and popcorn machine. We ate as a big party group and service was great. The servers were on top of it - grabbing drinks and empty plates.

Sashimi.

We came to Tasty Buffett and Grill to celebrate my dad's birthday with our family and other relatives. We came in around 12:30PM and they open at 11:00AM. For a Saturday, it was not busy as we expected. We were able to sit in the big banquet room as we had a party of 14 people. The buffet itself is huge lots of seating for small parties and the banquet room can probably accommodate 100 people for a large gartering. The staff and service were fine. They take drink orders right away and bust the tables of your plates as needed. The chairs and seats are still the same. They are dated and it's can be feel cramped if the location is full. What's usually tough is moving the chairs because the flooring is carpet. No big deal, either way. As for the selection this Tasty Buffet has an exceptional selection of food for the Weekend menu. It's $24.99 for adults and seniors get a discount. They have decent sushi options with rolls, sashimi and even crab legs. They offer a Mongolian Grill. The hot food selection has something for everyone. Plenty of favorites I enjoy were the grilled white fish, mussels, coconut shrimp and the black pepper beef, cheese wontons. There's a lot of desserts and on the other end they have self serve ice cream. Coming by earlier than later is a good idea since the food is fresh and quality is much better. My family had a great time this past weekend and enjoyed all the food. The staff even came out with a neon sign and played happy birthday over the speakers for my dad. Overall, Tasty Buffet was a good experience and probably one of the better Asian buffets around this area nowadays. ( ^_^)b

Awww this place is a hit and miss . I come here because my daughter likes their food . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can be a bit hectic at night time on weekends[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . The price fair for those than can eat more than two plates full. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place can use more detail cleaning[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . Service is nice and friendly .

I happened to really really really really really did I mention really like this place. The buffet always changes it's never the same old boring stuff. The ladies are very good at getting to your table and delivering your drink order and cleaning the dirty plates off so you can go back and chow out again. They also have a sushi bar here. So if you like sushi this is your place also they have that Mongolian barbecue type thing. You get your noodles and your protein and they cook it up. You can't go wrong and the prices I think are pretty reasonable compared to other places. Lunch time and dinner time have different prices. I never used to come in for dinner but I have come a couple times and I really really like it. You leave satisfied. Especially if you like seafood there's evenings where they have ample supply of seafood. See it's a little bit for everybody. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even the little ones.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hope you get to swing by and give them a try until then bon appetit!

The best Chinese buffet I have been to and I've been to a lot. They had pho too!!!! This was a first time to have pho at a chinese buffet and it was good too! Service was also good and all at a reasonable price! I would highly recommend this place. If you're hungry come here!

I haven't really been going to AYCE buffets lately, but I tried this one out since my daughter was mentioning it. They have an amazing selection of dishes. They had way more selections than I could eat. My favorites were the sushi, the chicken skewers and the beef and broccoli. I additionally liked the variety of soups they had, I tried the egg drop soup which was pretty good. They also have crab legs for dinner. I topped my meal off with a couple scoops of cookies and cream ice cream. Servers were nice and continued to feel our drinks and take away our plates as we finished. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location has plenty of dinning room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Their food is truly delicious and they offer something for everyone! I love their sushi and chicken. Just the wonderful aroma alone from the food will have you begging for a bite. Their service is okay and usually just for ordering drinks and asking for napkins or utensils. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do fancy their Vegas style buffet ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My family likes buffet because of the variety aspect for all the different dietary preferences. We came here one weekend for dinner and had a total of 11 people in our party. We had 8 Adults ($22.99/each), 2 Seniors (received 10% off), 1 child (for children between 2-10, $2 times age). There is a 2 hour dining limit, and you have to pay upon seating. I paid when I got there but didn't know how many drinks we wanted so those were paid for in a separate check. They will bring the check RIGHT AWAY. Ohhh and one thing I didn't like. During my transaction, the lady selected 10% tip for me and scribbled a signature on the electronic pad. What the heck?? I would have tipped more than that but it annoyed me so much that she did it. We were seated in this back room at a long table, but I really hated how tighttttt the tables were to the people right behind us. They really squeezed in as many tables and chairs that would fit into that space. I question the capacity legalities. Upon going into the buffet area I didn't see much that I would like to eat at all. And I saw some incorrectly labelled items so I wouldn't trust their labels too much. Their crab legs can be scarce and at first I was told to come back in 10 minutes. I tried to basically get my money's worth on the crabs. It was cold and not that fresh. The butter was room temperature and sus. I ate it mostly cause there was nothing else I wanted to eat. Oh and when we asked the staff for crab crackers, the lady would only give us 2 when there were 4 of us eating crabs. As soon as I finished my plate, she took the crackers away. Ahem, did I say I was done eating? I know they're working hard but I wouldn't say they care much for customer service. We tried it... We know it sucks... We don't need to come back.

I've been here twice, and I think this buffet is really good. Dinner was only $25, so considering all the options, it's reasonably priced. All of the food was pretty good and didn't taste old. I liked how big the crab legs were because a lot of buffets serve skinny crab legs. The sashimi/sushi tasted fairly fresh, and the hibachi had good seasoning. Excellent choice of fruits and pastries. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a good buffet to bring your friends and family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

AYCE Buffets after 4 hours at the gym has been a current weekend "thing" for us. Tasty Buffet and Grill in Pomona is a no frills AYCE Chinese Buffet w hibachi grill. There's plenty of seafood choices, so if you're into seafood, this place is for you. What I found interesting about this buffet was that they had movie theater popcorn, pho, chocolate fountain, scoop-yourself ice cream, and ceviche. Yes, you read that right... CEVICHE, lol!! I didn't try it, but hubby said it was good. Overall, the food was good. Service was average. Price was decent ($23 all day dinner Sat/Sun). Would definitely return when we're in the area.

Tasty buffet is my in-laws go-to place for lunch so here we are. It offers some different items during lunch & dinner. It opens at 11 according to the sign but when we arrived at 11, they were some people already finished eating and on their way out. They have quite a selection. Fried fish was my in-laws favorite, but it is only available during lunch. I started with an American breakfast of ham, eggs and potatoes. Sushi and sashimi were okay. They also have an omelette station, a pho station, and a Mongolian BBQ station, all made to order. My favorite was the grilled fish fillet. It was a whole side of fillet and up to the customer whether to take a large or small piece. It has a salad section that I skipped. I did had a healthy plateful of fruit of melons, pineapple, strawberry & blueberry to goes with sweet soup for dessert. It also has ice cream, chocolate fountain, and pastries in its own section. It is reasonably priced for an AYCE buffet. The posted time limit is 2 hours. That's plenty of time to get and eat whatever you like. It has plenty of parking too. I suspect this place is packed during dinner and on weekends too.

This spot is great! The wife and I came to try the ceviche…read more The fish ceviche was great, packed with flavor may have been my favorite. Mango habanero shrimp ceviche, also outstanding, I generally prefer fish but this was really delicious with just a tiny bit of heat. Tuna ceviche made with yellowtail, also very good. Really you can not go wrong with any of these. Will be back to try the green shrimp which I believe is more of a traditional aguachilie. Also had oysters and the fish taco, both were very good. I generally don't get fried fish tacos but was told that it was good. And yes lightly battered with great flavor with the cabbage and sauce. I thought the tortilla it came on was average, but overall a great fish taco. It is in a bar, which for me I really liked. The owner was very friendly and obviously cares about his food which you can tell with the quality and taste. Will be back here for sure.... Best ceviche I have found recently, all of the flavor profiles on the 3 different ceviches we had were totally different and all great.

The outside of the establishment may not be entirely appealing, but what awaits within is sure to warm your heart. Eating their food feels like an ode from the heart. It is reminiscent of pulling off to the side of the road to a Mariscos food truck in Tijuana. The food is comforting and reminds you of how Hispanic culture brings people together through food and music. All the staff here is very kind and have a lively spirit. As you are enjoying your food it is warming to hear them laughing, enjoying each other's company, and Bad Bunny music of course. I had the Tostada Mixta pictured below and believe it or not I had already dug in and eaten a whole tostada by the time I remembered to snap a pic. The portions are very generous and for the price, can't be beat! The Tacos de Camaron are flavor packed with every bite. These are freshly cooked to order and you can tell by the temperature, be careful. I can't describe them to anything else I have had in the past as they are so unique in the best way. Not pictured is the aguachiles. As spicy as they are, I couldn't find myself putting them down. The flavor keeps you hooked wanting more and more. I am excited to try out a Coctel next and am positive I will have nothing but praise. Definitely worth a try if you are ever out in the area or just passing by. Served very soon after I ordered. Great service. I would recommend getting here earlier in the day if you have more than 2 in your party.

What a unique experience!…read more Grilling, bbq-ing, etc is a norm but steaming your food on the table? Now that's something else! I really enjoyed the dinner I had, they offer lots of options, from freshly made buns, dumplings to fresh seafood. The menu is pretty extensive and they also offer cooked dishes from the kitchen. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They made sure we get the best experience as it was our first time dining at this place. We had the big eye fish as they called it and they steamed it at the other empty table because our buns and dumplings were steaming at the same time to save time. They finish the fish at the kitchen with the hot oil and sauce. We also had the pork and shrimp buns, and beef dumplings. They were delicious! You can make your sauce at the station too and they provide good options. We also got the baby oysters appetizer that was soaking in some sort of light soy sauce marinade. Also got the soft shell crab and you get 3 whole crabs for $10! It was so worth it! The whole restaurant looked clean and inviting. The booths were spacious. I would definitely come back here and try other dishes!

The meat was sweet and tender, and the sauce had a nice balance of savory flavor without overpowering the natural seafood taste. You can tell the quality of the seafood is solid. Each dishes had its own highlight. Ambiance is modern and clean, giving a slightly upscale seafood house vibe. Service was decent and the food came out nicely presented. Prices are on the higher side, but for fresh seafood and quality ingredients, it feels reasonable for a special meal. Would come back again to try more of their live seafood options.
