Found this place while traveling to Oregon. Wait isn't this restaurant located in Vancouver, Washington? Yup! Just a short drive from the Cascade Station area where we were staying near PDX Airport. Located on the corner in a small shopping area with ample parking. Got here around 6:00 pm and was greeted for dine in. The decor is modern with different seating options: clustered tables and rows. The menu offers many choices from the hot pot where you pick your flavors and options to place into your broth to traditional preset meals. All of the choices looked very delicious. Opted for the won ton hot soup meal and it was tasty. Garnished with vegetables and lots of won ton. We ordered soup dumplings along with our meal as well. Fair is fair come check this place out. Portions were robust and the service was friendly and efficient. They have a variety of boba type drinks as well so give it a try and see what you like. read more

I am so glad we finally have a place for hot pot in Vancouver now. I've been here twice now but have been to the Beaverton location in the past. Not a fan of their rice dishes, or the fried noodles dishes. They are all so bland. But we love their popcorn chicken. It's crunchy, , salty, and juicy. My favorite soup base is the Thai one. I think it's #8 on the menu. The hot pot comes loaded with lots of thinly sliced pork, 2 different kinds of meatballs, veggies and seafood. Very flavorful. My fiancé also likes their wonton soup. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the service is slow and both times we've been here, no one has checked on us or asked if we needed/wanted anything else. We will definitely continue to come back, and I am hoping the service will improve. read more

So the national chain restaurant "Tasty Pot" has merged with "Taste of Asia and Tea" in this particular location. It has two menus. I had the #1 Beef Hot Pot to go and here is how it scored: Broth - 3.5/5: actually not bad for a chain restaurant Ingredients 2.5/5: My oh my, what a bizarre combination of ingredients. Basically a hot mess from bean curd sticks to corn on the. cob. Hot Pot is a social thing with the novelty of cooking your own food like Korean BBQ or Shabu Shabu, I get it. However, from an authenticity and taste perspective, the hot pot was not very good. Stick with the Taste of Asia and Tea menu. read more

I was beyond excited that Tasty Pot is coming to Vancouver! This is actually dangerous, having such an amazing spot in our neighborhood. We stopped here for dinner today, they have the Tasty Pot menu and the Taste of Asia menu as well. They start you off with a small fries as a free appetizer. Then we ordered a basil popcorn chicken which came super quick, it was crunchy and tasty. For $8, we got probably double the popcorn chicken I would expect to get. We both got Beef Hot Soups and it was delicious. There were probably like 8 pieces of beef and loads of veggies. My favorite was the vermicelli noodles. Passionfruit green tea was also perfect. There were five in our group who had lunch there on July 24th. We were seated right away and our order taken in a timely fashion. The food arrived quickly too, but the only sauces they had on the table were hot chili sauce, sriracha sauce, and soy sauce. We had ordered the fried tofu appetizer and asked for a sweet hot sauce to dip it in, but the server only brought out more of the hot chili sauce. We asked again to get a hot sweet sauce, but the server then said they didn't have any. It is hard to believe that this restaurant didn't even have a bottle of Tiger sauce or even a teriyaki dipping sauce to offer customers who prefer the sweeter with less hot spice in sauces. We would have enjoyed our dining experience much more if the Tasty Pot offered a better variety of dipping sauces. read more

Is it posible to give 6 stars? We have tried many different Asian restaurants in the area and, while many are decent, none have come close to Tasty Pot in my opinion. The food was top quality, well prepared and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. We tried a hot pot as well as an order of Beef Chow Fun and some dumplings as an appetizer. All three were amazing. Before I give a restaurant a full 5 stars I ask myself if anything could have been better...I cannot think of a single thing here that needs improvement. YES. THANK YOU for opening up a legit hot pot place in Vancouver. After moving from Seattle during the pandemic, I constantly craved hot pot but had to travel a ways to get it. I was more than ecstatic when my friend shared this place had opened so close to home. From what I remember of other locations, this place tastes the same - delicious! They seem to have the same menu. It seems like the restaurant is much busier after they added Tasty Pot. My absolute favorite hot pot restaurant. They will even give you a free refill of broth if you need more. My favorite dish is the Kimchi Dumpling Hot Soup. They do give more vegetables then meat so make sure to get some add one for extra but in my opinion it's a healthy and hearty meal. read more

We were visiting family in Vancouver. I had never eaten hot pot. They took me to this restaurant to try it. I got the beef hot pot soup, my husband got the Beef Chow Fun, and my family members got the beef noodle soup and kimchi hot pot. The hot pot was bubbling when it was served. It was so hot it was burning my tongue. Luckily my family member told me I could turn down the heat on the hot pot device. Yea! Now I could enjoy the food without burning my tongue. Moved from a place that has many and was excited for the area to have a hot pot place finally. So far tried the kimchi and beef hot pot and was pleased. We tried almost all of their appetizers and I have to say they are a hit and miss. Some are okay and some are ones I'd never order again. Been here multiple times. Our go-to is the Taiwanese and the Thai hot pot. We stopped ordering the XLB because it would always stick to the steamer basket or to each other and rip open letting all the soup leak. Our recent visit we were not able to eat hot pot due to broth not being ready for another few hours. read more

I ordered a Taiwanese supreme spicy hot soup. The spice level was good ( I like it spicy), but the broth was too salty. I went to several Tasty Pot in Northern California, and ordered the same thing but never was the soup that salty. The staff was very friendly but they never come to ask if I need more water or anything else. I had to wave them down several times to get their attention. I think the waitress could be more attentive to their customers, specially when the food was way to salty. I may return again at some point to see if that was just an anomaly. read more

This is my first time visiting Tasty Pot. Each pot is filled with so much fresh ingredients, and the soup is flavorful too. We came here on a Wednesday evening, and business was quite steady. Servers were attentive, and they came serval times to check on our table and refilled our soup. Two people can share one pot because of good portion. Cons: Waiter service: had to ask for my hot drink more than once. Kitchen: poor handling of the orders. All the priority for the non-hot pots dishes kept flowing. Multiple tables that got seated after we ordered got their food before we got our complete order. We ordered one noodle dish and a hot pot. Well my appetite is never satisfied so I ended up ordering 80.00 worth of food hoping that the spiciness of one would work if the hot broth of another didn't. The noodles were gummy, nothing was "spicy" everything tasted like old stained and over used Tupperware smells like except for the chili wontons they tasted like I licked a wet dog. We went there with a group of people. I have a seafood allergy and defined that as shellfish and all fish to our server. I asked him what he recommends on the menu that won't have seafood, fish sauce or oyster sauce. He said they don't have seafood, don't use oyster sauce, or fish sauce. So I'm thinking I can have anything on the menu. I questioned him a second time and he said they have shrimp on the menu and said I could have any of the stir fries. I questioned why he said they don't have seafood, but now tells me they have shrimp on the menu. He didn't have much to say on that. I asked if the shrimp is in their stir fry dishes. He said yes and the woks are used for shrimp, so I couldn't have stir fry. A minute previous I could have the stir fry! He said the only thing I could eat was one of the 2 beef soups. Neither appealed to me, so I ordered a cup of rice. Everyone got their meals, but I never received my rice. I finally got my servers attention who finally scooped it out of the rice cooker to give me. I asked if they have any teriyaki sauce. He said no. So my lunch consisted of plain rice. My husband ordered the chow mein and said it was not good. I also ordered a pot of Oolong tea. I asked for sugar and cream. He brought sugar packets and salt shaker. I caught his attention and asked again for cream. He said they only have half & half. The half & half was brought in a paper to go cup! We got our check with gratuity added in. It seemed to be a bit sneaky as it was above the tax line. One of our friends was unaware and added a $9 tip on top of the $5. I personally wouldn't have given much of a tip if at all.
