Loveeeee this place! The chicken ramen broth is some of the best chicken broth I've had. So great for when you're sick or just want some good soup. I also like their katsu chicken. It's not dry and goes so well with the teriyaki sauce. Rice is always soft and fresh, and it's very nice in the broth. I ordered the chicken udon noodles. The broth was amazing but the chicken was overcooked and very dry. The chicken was cubed with approximately 6 one inch cube pieces of chicken. The rest of the protein was so sort of tofu or some kind of square patty. I ordered Chicken not tofu. I did call this business to informed them of my concerns, they took my name and said they would be discussing my experience but never mentioned a refund of over $16.00. Had the t&n chicken Ramen today, was not good! For a bowl of Ramen and a to go water cup $20 and some change. Not worth it, everything pointed to packaged Ramen and broth with just adding vegetables and grilled chicken. I normally can kill a bowl of Ramen, but this one from t&n missed the mark. Unlike any other Asian food, this place doesn't use MSG or any chemical flavoring. All the ingredients are very fresh and home made sauces and the broth. Not worth your time nor money! My husband ordered a chicken yakisoba & a tofu yakisoba as our daughter loves and only eats their yakisoba (when we buy take-out). Apparently somehow the owner understood teriyaki. We got home and as we opened our take out we noticed it was teriyaki instead of yakisoba so my husband called the restaurant and the owner answered, husband explained the situation and the owner had a horrible attitude and said it was my husbands fault. We hung up and he had the audacity to send my husband harassing texts (see pics) blaming him for his mistakes. He has zero customer service and we will never go back. We will definitely inform all our family and friends of this harassment and verbal abuse. We blocked his number to stop any further altercation as he clearly has zero respect for his customers. UPDATE: RESPONSE TO OWNER'S REPLY: Hi Sam, the point for this review was and is not to get anything for free (and haven't received anything as I have mentioned that we have blocked your number). The purpose for this review is to warn others of the service you yourself provide and what to expect. Zero acknowledgment of your errors shows a whole lot. Not that I have to explain myself to you, but my profile names on Google & Yelp are a combination of my first and last names. What is not nice is your lack of professionalism and how you degrade your own customers. Makes me think on how you treat your employees. I was driving around for a lunch place and popes in here. The place seemed to be fairly busy. The menu board looks of like Youskyme's up on Mill Plain next to Walmart. Kind of odd.. I placed my order and tried out some of their complimentary egg flour soup. It was nice and hot but tasted fishy. I place a simple order of teriyaki chicken. Well it came out within 10 mins but the chicken was just plain with no teriyaki taste to it at all. Kind of strange since they tout this place as a teriyaki noodle place. Oh well. I put my own sauces on it. It was not bad after that. But I don't understand how you can serve cold chicken when they supposedly just made it. You can definitely become overwhelmed by this menu, they have everything from teriyaki to pad Thai to udon. Thankfully they have a ton of photos plastered all over the place so you can see what your food will look like. They used to offer egg drop soup complimentary for those who dined in but they've done away with that. The chicken yakisoba was a huge plate of with a side of rice. I enjoyed it a bit better once I added some hot sauce. General Tao and chicken teriyaki was also very good. Serviced with rice and a side salad. The owner here is super nice and during COVID they have been amazing. But to the food: My go to is the kimchi and spam fried rice. It's such a treat. Slightly spicy, very warm and filling, and honestly straight up comfort food. During non pandemic times I've also had the hangover ramen which is also very very good. my partner usually gets the Teriyaki and rice plate which is very good and very filling. during kovid they've been very good about bringing your food out to your car and sanitizing your method of payment before handing it back to you. They're friendly, good customer service and I've never had any complaints with the food. I love the variety between Japanese, Chinese and Korean but I especially appreciate that I can order Korean food when I want because there's no place here in Vancouver that's I know of that serves Korean food. read more

We usually come here at least once a week never had an issue until today. The "owner" was running the cash register and seemed to be too good to great us. Then when I asked if I could bring in the drink I had just bought next door at Starbucks, he looked at me and said "We have sodas here" No shit, Sherlock! And while I know they need to make their money yada yada I am sure that with our order of $35.00 and some change, they made plenty of profit. Then he shoved our change into my husband's hands with no thank you, nothing. This was a place I really wanted to be a supporter of. Finding quality asian food in Vancouver is difficult to do and I always try to give a little bit of leeway on both food quality and service as I typically want nothing but the best for these restaurants and like supporting the local community. That being said NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD SOMEONE TREAT MY WIFE THE WAY SHE WAS TREATED TODAY! I am going to say something that in all my years yelping i thought i would never say: "DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS." My wife stopped in to try this place yesterday to pick up some food for our daughter as well as us since we are in the process of moving to Camas and cooking was the last thing we wanted to do. Upon her first visit she was encouraged to order their seafood noodles. My wife is born and raised in S Korea and knows what these dishes are supposed to taste like. Let's be kind here and say that heated up cup of noodles with seafood soup is NOT okay. But let's put that to the side as the "spicy teriyaki chicken" and "kimchi spam fried rice" were actually decent. The two non-seafood noodle dishes were good enough for her to stop by for a second time today and let's just say this is where everything went down hill. At first she was greeted warmly as a return customer (this was good!). Next she goes in to order the two dishes she preferred but the cashier asked her if she wanted to try the seafood soup which she politely declined as it was "not her style" trying to be as courteous as possible. It was at this point the cashiers boss (most likely the owner) came out to push the seafood noodle soup AGAIN. He is also Korean, and my wife and him have an exchange in Korean where she declines the soup as it's not her style (why are you pushing this soup so hard??? If a customer doesn't want to try your special... just let it be... why be SO push). This is where things turned from mildly uncomfortable to COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. My wife being frustrated starts mumbling to herself in Korean that she feels the soup isn't her style and that it didn't taste good the first time, why would she order it again... The owner then points at her angrily and asked her repeatedly "what did you just say"? He then orders the cashier to cancel her other items (the ones she thought actually tasted okay) and then ORDERS MY WIFE TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT. WHAT MAKES SOMEONE THINK IT IS OKAY TO TREAT SOMEONE LIKE THAT?! Had they not pushed their mediocre excuse for traditional Korean seafood soup and taken the respectful and courteous hints she tried to pass along she never would have been so frustrated that she needed to talk to herself about how bad it taste the first time she took their suggestion and tried it! THIS OWNER NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU DO NOT TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. Take the hint, not ALL of your dishes are winners my friend, and there are consequences for treating returning patrons of your restaurant this way. WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT. There are plenty of other restaurants in the immediate area that are better priced, higher quality, and most of all, actually treat their customers and fellow humans with the common decency every human should be afforded. read more

Stopped in here while traveling with my wife. It was late and we honestly weren't expecting much when we happened upon this restaurant. We walked in and with just a short time before closing rattled off our order of the first two combo meals up in the menu hanging in the front. General gau and teriyaki chicken combo and a sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken combo. We sat down and shortly after received our meals. The food came out neatly plated with a good portion of the two chicken dishes, two mounds of rice and a surprisingly satisfying side salad. Everything we had was a pleasure to eat. I was particularly happy with the texture of the general gau and sesame chicken. Very crispy/crunchy with nice pieces of chicken inside. To top it off, we were given an order of fried dumplings on the house which were also very good. I'm visiting from California and I always visit this place every time I come to Vancouver. Clean environment, kind service, amazing food This is my no.1 Teriyaki/noodle place. No msg. Gen tao chicken is very soft. Sauce is not too sweet nor not too strong. It tastes just right. Grilled beef with mixture of vegetables is amazing. I love how their shrimp fried rice is not salty. Food portion is big and the shrimp size is huge, too. Spicy chicken breasts also come with mixed vegetables. It tastes so good with rice on the side. Gyoza is very crispy. They have their own gyoza sauce, which is very light and tasty. They have three different kinds of rice - brown, purple, and white and they offer extra rice for free. Spicy ramen with seafoods and vegetables is amazing. This is the ramen that you will crave whenever it's rainy/cold or whenever you don't feel like eating anything. THE WORST customer service ever!! I wish I was able to give them no stars! I went there this evening and ordered the dinner special and wanted some (Japchae) on the side (not substituting what's part of the dinner combo) and this is what I got, plain boiled glass noodles! Anyone who has visited or lived in South Korea will know this is not Japchae! I lived in South Korea for over 15 years! I know what Japchae is supposed to taste and look like and it's not plain noodles. I went back to the restaurant and the owner, Sam was so rude and actually told me to leave. I told him he should be embarrassed that he is ripping Americans off like this. I will never go there ever again and neither will my friends who recommended the place to me. This place is less than a mile from my apartment, and we pass it all the time so we went in to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. Smaller menu, but quality stuff. I had the mongolian beef, and it was one of the best I've had in awhile. Small, fairly basic place. But the gentleman working at the counter made it great. His name was Sam, and he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and very quick to fix any issue. He was the only one working the front, and it ended up getting packed, all tables filled, and he still treated every customer as if they were the only ones there.
