This is my first time visiting this restaurant. Big open space. Lots of tables available. Big communal table in the middle. They sell bubble teas and green teas. Various types of tea available. We all ordered three different types of hot pot. Stinky tofu, Kimchi and Seafood Combo. Service was fast and attentive. They gave us water and silverware as soon as we had sat down. You can add rice or vermicelli to your hot pot. The seafood combo came with lots of different kinds of seafood. Lobster tails, clams, shrimp and others . The broth was delicious and flavorful. Very yummy. I will definitely try this restaurant again. It has other Chinese food also. Chow fun, Singapore noodles and chow mein. Variety of different other side dishes.

I was really excited to see Tasty Pot here in Vancouver. I'm born and raised from Minnesota and we have a Tasty Pot in Dinkytown so I obviously had to go to scratch that old itch. I ordered the Thai Hot Soup and I really loved the amount of meat that was in it. The soup was a tad bit too sour but it's whatever, I'm biased, it's not gonna stop me from ordering it again because it's my go to flavor. I also ordered the black milk tea and it was a banger. 10/10 would recommend. At the end of the meal I got a cute keychain! That was a nice surprise! I have a cinnamoroll outfit for my dog lol, maybe she'll like this too. You've got a customer for life fr tho

I love this food and the concept. Super flavorful and a big portion for less than $20. Meaty, rich and tons of veggies, tofu, seafood and noodles. Also, the Takoyaki is excellent, but the wontons (in chili), had a bit of an off flavor for me, but I'm sure it's me and that's what they are supposed to be. Place is super clean, modern and I love that they have a flame under your pot to keep it bubbling, so you don't miss the experience of sitting around and watching it.

I had been craving hot pot for a very long time. This place was perfect! I got my curry hot pot with a side of milk to add to it. My absolute favorite. We got fried rice and dumplings for the kids. Also got passion fruit green tea and a Hokkaido milk tes with boba. Both were perfect. We will be back!

Gluten free review: There weren't a lot of options for gluten free but what we got was pretty good. Our mouth was Strangely tingly after eating it. It was flavorful but a bit dry because there's no sauce. I would love to go back if they ever end up with more gluten free. I would say that if you are in the area to still go in and try it!

My sister and I stumbled upon this place while we were running errands and starving. It was so good that a few weeks later we took more family out to taste more dishes. Over the two experiences we tried a lot of dishes to share with the table. It was so incredible. So happy we found this spot. Top favs across the board -Sizzling sweet garlic soy beef rice dish -Chili wontons -veg spring roll -Mongolian beef noodles -fried tofu (soft-med) Least fav -spare ribs -xlb

Hot pot authentic Taiwanese with lots to choose from. The wide variety includes a lot of different soups and street food appetizers. Careful because it's easy to get out of hand by ordering too much. It's not a cook your own bowl though, which becomes an issue if you like medium or medium rare and my lamb was delivered cooked well done. But overall the soup is hearty and flavorful with lots of yummy bites. We also ordered fish balls, fried tofu and other appetizers. They also offer some basic boba and smoothie drinks. That's all.

Taiwanese style hot pot joint in Vancouver serving up some pretty delicious offerings in a low-key, fun atmosphere. Pretty straightforward menu--choose from a selection of hot pots and modify to your palate by specifying spiciness and various optional add-ons. I ordered the curry pot (mild), no mods. The broth started thin but got better the longer the pot heated. Service was fine. Look forward to trying some other of their offerings. (4.25 stars).

Bland. So so very bland. To be fair we didn't do the hot pot, but we got Szechuan beef chow mein, beef chow fun, xiao long bao, and the spicy won tons. Everything was bland and forgettable. Service was fine, restaurant was clean.

Tasty Pot is the same restaurant as Taste of Asia. The food was good. 4 out of 5 stars. Our favorite was the bao (steamed pork buns ~ dim sum). My second favorite was the green beans and garlic dish. Cooked perfectly. Crisp-tender. Third, we liked the beef fried rice. Fourth, we liked the Singapore noodles with chicken. I added the hot chili pepper oil for more of a kick, to the noodles. The place was very busy and noisy. Kid-friendly and family friendly. The service was prompt. We would go there again. I will probably order the bao again. And won ton noodle soup. I've had that before. Yummy. If you're looking for a romantic ambiance, this is not the place. But if you like lively conversation and interaction, and good food, you'll like this place. We didn't order the hot pot selections, because we prefer traditional Asian food. I don't like to have to cook my food. It reminded me of some Korean restaurants where you have to cook your own food. If you're into that, then you'll enjoy the hot pot selections. Many around us ordered from the hot pot menu. We ordered from their regular menu. We did have enough to take home. It will make a good lunch for tomorrow. To have 5 stars, I would say that the Singapore noodles should taste more flavorful. And I wish they offered pork fried rice. I know we all have unique taste buds, so try it yourself. Prices are reasonable overall. Although I do think that for what you get, the green beans with garlic was a bit pricey. Next time I'll try the broccoli with oyster sauce, and the sweet & sour spareribs. Enjoy Asian food at Taste of Asia and Tasty Pot!

Place is clean, staff is super helpful and friendly and food was delicious. I really like how this tasty pot has another restaurant inside as well and offer more than just the hot pots like the other chains. The beef hot pot tasted pretty standard. The popcorn chicken and beef chow mein were delicious. It's definitely a family friendly restaurant with lots of room in between the tables. Plenty of parking in this plaza. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area. It's in a pretty busy and newer area of Vancouver so there's quite a bit going on.

I'm new to the Vancouver area and was really happy to find an Asian hotpot place near me. I like where the restaurant location is at in fishers landing near new seasons. I went with my husband the staff was attentive and helped us get our seat. I ordered the Japanese miso hot pot which came on a cool bowl with a small heat below to keep my food warm. I also loved how much seafood is in this hot pot dish. Easily could be shared with two ppl if you wanted to but I felt the portions were enough and yummy. My husband got a steak and garlic rice on their hot plates. It was nice presentation and the flavor was good. I would like to come back and try their boba drinks next time.

Terrible and overpriced. Was extremely disappointed as the food was uninspiring and lacked flavor other than salty...

We came here to celebrate the holidays with their AYCE hotpot. It comes in 3 rounds, there was epic confusion on what number to put next to each item. It indicates servings - so if you want more put a higher number. Although be warned the good cuts of meat are limited to 2 servings per round. There are different tiers to the AYCE hotpot and for some reason this info isn't posted on here so I took photos of the menu! Yay! $30 for lunch classic tier AYCE $50 for dinner high tier AYCE The little sauce station is nice but a bit of a mess. They serve complimentary half cut spring rolls and shaved papaya salad at the sauce station. Expect to pay around $50 ish per person for the higher tier of meats at dinner. I say it's definitely worth it for the beef alone and seafood if that's what you fancy. Service is pretty fast and they are super attentive! I just wish the tables were a bit more spaced as we did bump into other people, or had people mid booty cheek cutting it close to our table edge.

Instead of built-in hot pot stations, they bring a portable pot to the table and use gas flame to heat it. The food was decent and overall okay, but it didn't feel very "wow" or exceptional for me. It's not exactly what I imagined, but I still appreciate the experience and hope the business continues to grow and do well. Sorry i can't find the pictures,I may have deleted them by accident.

For the quality of meat we ordered, it was a given for the high price. Food was great, I recommend ordering the tomato soup base, that was everyone's favorite and it was super flavorful. Another must order item is the fish ball with roe, super rich in flavors. In term of cleanliness, everything was clean for the most part but my mom did noticed residues on her plates. We had a staff replace it. Staff were very attentive in checking in on us and making sure our water was filled. A+ for customer service, very rare to find attentive staff nowadays. Overall great place to take your whole family out.

Every soup base we've tried has had great depth, and the quality of the meats really stands out; fresh, well-sliced, and perfect for cooking in the broth. The restaurant itself is spacious and nicely decorated, making it comfortable for both family dinners and group gatherings. Ordering is also very convenient since each table has an iPad, so it's easy to browse options and add items without waiting for staff. A solid and reliable choice if you're looking for authentic, flavorful hot pot in the Bethany area.

There are booths where you order food to come cooked, and then the hot pot tables where you order the ingredients and cook them yourself. It's very interactive, and they have plenty of meats, vegetables, tofu, dumplings and noodles. You can choose the broth you want at the beginning and they'll bring out the pot. Each pot is split in 2, so you order one regular broth and then a spicy broth. They also have a veggie broth, which I really enjoy. You can grab things from the salad bar, and they have different sauces/oils you can take and add to your soup. You're able to really customize the experience. It's a fun little experiment you get to do with your friends and family. The space itself is busy with customers walking around and staff brining drinks and food, but it's not crazy. We joke that the steam from the soup is a nice facial treatment. Lol. You can end the night with an ice cream cone and lollipop in the waiting room. I've been a few times, and I will say the first time is overwhelming with trying to figure out what to do, but after that you get more confident and interested in curating a soup that's to your taste.

Once we were seated though, things went downhill. Only one person out of our four person table had done hot pot before, the rest of us were clueless. The server didn't bother to ask if we understood how to order and were super unhelpful every time we asked a question, kind of waving us off. Apparently you place an order and have to wait 20 minutes before you can place another order? What? I've been to kbbq plenty of times and have never been met with this delay. We got their original soup base and curry base. Both were mid. Not very flavorful until the very very end when we had finished cooking and were ready to leave. Maybe eating boiled meat just isn't for me, but I feel like everything was pretty bland and tasteless. The best part of the meal was the ice cream we grabbed on the way out imo. They gave us $20 off coupons randomly, said we couldn't use them that night. Probably a ploy to get us to go back, but not even with a discount like that would I go back. Straight to the trash. Save yourself and go to kbbq or the Asian buffet that's 10 min away. Disappointing night out with the fam.

There is better hotpot elsewhere…read more This place doesn't really stand out to me hotpot wise, there are other contenders with higher quality and consistent food quality. I love that it's a ma and pop but as an Asian person who eats this often I'm just a bit disappointed. Most of the stuff here is Ala carte and that can easily add up quickly. They do have combos for 2 at $30-39 but you're limited to certain cuts of meat. For most AYCE places you can spend $30 and have an abundance of food and options. I spent $53 here and was super limited to meat and a few basic veggies. Even with other places offering higher cut meat the prices here fall in comparison. Portions are also very small even at Ala Carte. Veggies add up quickly at $7 for an order. Another big gripe is that the broth here is super under seasoned and just lack luster for what hotpot actually is. I found myself having to use more sauce, also not happy having to pay for more. Ventilation is poor here so expect to leave sweating a bit. I likely will stick to other places but at least I tried this place out.
