This quaint coffee shop on the corner in Benicia was an absolute gem. We came by 3 times this morning to get various coffees and each one tasted great. I love the older building and the design aesthetic - very welcoming. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable about the drink offerings and service was reasonably fast - as expected for a quality product. Highly recommend

My sweet friend and fellow Yelper, Mila E., recommended we meet at Majestic Cafe for a beverage and to walk our pups. In the heart of Benicia, this majestic little cafe sits. It seems to be a watering hole as lots of people were inside hanging out or catching up on work. The vibes are casual, minimalistic, and workers are friendly and efficient. WiFi is available and there are tables to sit at plus a bench outside. They have a cute hook for pet leashes outdoors too! As a matcha girlie, I was amazed at their offerings! They have typical coffee and teas plus special drinks and lots of syrups. Non-dairy alternatives are available too. I got an Iced Taro Matcha with Soy Milk and she had an Iced Lavender Latte. My drink was smooth, sweet, and creamy. Taro flavor was present but the matcha was on the more subtle side. I wouldn't mind coming back to try their other drinks! Majestic Cafe is worth a visit if you're in Benicia! It's a charming spot with good drinks and nice workers! Located on the corner of 1st Street, there's ample free parking all around!

This is a really cute and intimate coffee shop with lots of street parking. I didn't have anything to eat per se but they have a decent amount of pastry options. I opted for the ube matcha iced latte with oatmilk and my friend did a ube latte. Both really good options and well balanced. Service is good but I'm used to east coast pace so to me my drinks took a bit longer than I anticipated. There's a good amount of diverse people in the cafe either chatting or doing some work/assignments. Would definitely revisit if I'm in the area again.

Majestic Coffee Everything Toast $8 Butterbeer latte $6 Everything Toast Cream cheese/ house made everything seasoning Butterbeer latte A wicked butterscotch latte with a hint of brown latte Finally, I tried Majestic Cafe. This used to be States. The motif is similar --minimalist look with a few house plants. I like this space. It's perfect for writing, doing homework or chilling with friends. Everything Toast was yummy with a good amount of cream cheese. Their homemade seasoning had the right amount of salt, garlic, sesame, lemon zest, and I think thyme. I maybe missing some other ingredients. Is it worth $8? That's debatable. This maybe the standard as far as toast prices go. The butterbeer latte is delicious. I requested to lessen the syrup. They suggested half. I appreciate the accommodation. I want to taste the bitterness of the caffeine. The service was great. If you decide to dine in, they'll bring your order to you. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Restrooms are available for customers. They delicious coffee and drink options. See photo. I'll definitely return and order the Jalapeño mocha.

Cute little cafe, the cashier was nice. This review is solely on their matcha. As you can tell by the color of their matcha. It tasted literally like water, tbh it went straight into the trash.

We came here on a whim Thursday morning. The interior decor is still very similar to when it was States but now has some turquoise highlights. Similar cozy farmhouse vibes with houseplants. Some seating but most of it was taken with the exception of outdoor bistro seating. A restroom is available in the back past the pick up area. Not much of a line when we went and it moved fast. They have a medium sized selection of baked goods. They have much more of a selection for drinks than the previous business. We ordered the iced matcha latte, iced taro matcha latte, veggie scone, and chocolate zucchini loaf. The cashier was kind. She confirmed that we'd be okay with putting both pastries in the same box. The drinks came out quickly. There is a self service table with straws, napkins, drink holders, a watering station etc. I honestly loved all the food items! Everything wasn't too sweet. The drinks weren't watered down with 90% ice. I think in total we paid around $25. The matcha was a good strength. The scone was buttery and warm and delicious. The chocolate zucchini loaf was rich without being too sweet almost like a dark chocolate. This may be my new favorite cafe in Benicia!

This is the spot... authentic, fresh, new, and all the taste to match. This place is an easy 10/10. I had a latte and the everything avocado toast and the combo is mind blowing. Worth every penny and the drive.

This is one of my two favorite cafes in Benicia. They feature coffee from Moschetti in Vallejo, one of my favorite coffee roasters in the area. They have a very limited selection of pastries and donuts in the morning but a nice selection of "toasts" plus some other options that look good. I'm a barbarian so I simply order a slice of dry toast to dip in my coffee. It is a very comfortable place to sit and do work or read or even chat with someone at the table next to you. So, basically, good but limited food, excellent coffee, very pleasant setting (bright, roomy, not too loud, nice people). It's on First Street, so it also offers a nice area in which to walk around, and parking is generally pretty easy (although I just walk here). There is a good ice cream store right across the street, and there's currently a notice in the window that they've applied for a liquor license, so I imagine there are a few menu changes coming in the future. What I truly enjoy about this cafe is the staff. Once you have been coming in on a regular basis, they remember your coffee order. They remember your name. They know how you like your toast, and they anticipate (so don't change your order!). There are too many places where the employees barely make eye contact with you. This is not one of them. I tend to order my toast in a particular way (well, I use various punch lines). The employee taking my order remembered my order from a few days earlier. The picture I've attached shows how she entered it in the register, without any prompting from me. Another barista found out that I like to dip my toast in my coffee, so she started cutting it lengthwise for me to facilitate dipping. Without any prompting from me. There are many cafes; the quality of the people working there (and the quality of the coffee, of course) are what makes one better than another. Throw in a sense of humor and I'll keep coming back.

With limited seating, I thought Majestic cafe was still a good place to study. I enjoy having the freedom to customize my own drink with their variety of syrups to choose from. Even can customize their cold foam! I always add cinnamon on top as preference and they have a table where you can do that including getting your own water, and additives to your coffee. I wish it was open longer hours but I appreciate the workers for being able to accommodate your own concoction!!

Wanted to try a new cafe and came across Majestic Cafe. The inside is so cute, clean, and there are plenty of seating available if you want to do some work inside. The service was super friendly and quick. They have a menu for their specialties and seasonal items and my eye immediately caught on to the Taro Matcha since I love both but never tried it together. It was actually pretty good! You can taste a subtle taro flavor with the matcha and it wasn't too sweet. I would recommend if you like both flavors. I would definitely come back to try more items!

Cute Cafe in Benicia. Indoor Seating with a Few Plugs and Outdoor Benches. No Dogs Allowed Inside the Shop. Clean Restroom. Expansive Menu of Drinks. Professional Service.

My first time trying this cafe and I am definitely putting it in my rotation. The coffee was really good and perfectly balanced not too sweet and not too strong. Staff were welcoming and our drinks came out in a timely manner. There is space to sit and enjoy your coffee indoors or you can simply take it to go. They are one of the best I've tried in Benicia and will be bringing more people to enjoy their drinks.

I think patrons of States will be happy to know that a lot of it was carried over to Majestic. Super friendly service. My latte was good and they had a great selection of pastries. They did get my husband's order incorrectly, but we didn't catch it until we were on the freeway and didn't bother going back. It's a cozy place to enjoy your beverage/food. Hope to see this place thrive in Benecia!

Just along the main strip of town, this place is busy. We stopped by early morning just a little after they were opened. Even mid week and there was a massive line already forming. They must be good. There's two entrance, first being the main where the front door is. Patio seating available along the sidewalk. And then the back entrance where the majority of the seating is outside. It's like a secret garden with all the trees and plants. Somewhat a treehouse feel as well. They have 2 levels with tables. Beautiful spot sitting there under the tree having a nice cup of joes and a beautiful pastries. Indoor also has some seating along the front and I believe there's a second floor right above the entrance. There's mainly one line for everything. You wait to place your order if you wanted pastries and food. I think you could just order drinks at counter if you're not getting food but don't quote me on that. Everyone was waiting together. Once you reach the top, there's the counter of fresh baked pastries that's made daily. Things do sell out pretty fast. We literally arrived not long after they open and the ham and cheese croissant was already sold out. Besides pastries, there's fresh baked bread. Coffee drinks were pretty good too. After you pick what you want, the cashier is at the end and that's where you pay. There's a counter at the back where drinks are picked up. The whole place has an open kitchen feel where you could actually see all the workers preparing the sweets. In the back kitchen, you could walk by and see the pastries chef preparing and putting together the fresh sweets. It's like you're part of the kitchen. It's a cute place and it does get busy. The locals know about this place so it a hot spot. The holiday makers know which their names is getting out there and making a big splash for them. We've been a few times while in town and each time, alway busy and great. Amazing pastries and good drink. It is on the pricer side but that's pretty much everywhere you go these days.

Dutch bros always get that reputation of workers being talkative, interactive and just overall good costumer service. However this location specifically made me want to write a review to shine light on their amazing costumer service, fast, yet still really good and actually clean cups, (other locations often speeds and the cups have whatever drink you ordered dripping on the cup or spilling out - making you ask for napkins) This location had our drinks READY and CLEAN as soon as we pulled up to the window. Jordan, the one who took our order that day, was really patient with me and my boyfriend looking through the menu and answering questions we had about their new seasonal drinks. He was even really sweet about me asking for a sticker! I usually always ask if dutch bros has stickers (they usually release stickers on Wednesday mornings) and I either get a crazy look or told that they open early so they wouldn't have any during the evenings. (which is definitely understandable!!) I just really appreciated how Jordan actually took the time to follow up with the front for me to see if they had any left over. This location also felt so safe and looked clean! The workers all seemed happy to be working there and talked to each other like friends.
