I ordered the Lamb Meatball Shakshuka, which was delicious. Definitely recommend! I forgot to take a picture. But I did snag a pic of the French toast someone else at our table got. Enjoy! LOL

This is a very cute and large cafe. Their coffee is good, and their turnover was tasty! We didn't have to wait long, but it does get very busy especially on weekends. The line moves quickly and they bring everything to your table.

Standard Tatte bakery and cafe. Ordered a quick hot matcha with vanilla sweetener to go since I was in a bit of a rush. The staff were very helpful in pushing out my drink quickly since I was in such a hurry. It's spacious and still somewhat busy for it being 7 PM at night. I would say the downside with Tatte is how expensive their items are.

The pastries through the window caught my eye as we walked through Old Town Alexandria, and with the chilly weather, it was the perfect excuse for a hot drink. I had the pistachio latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup. I loved the pistachio crumbles in it, they went perfectly with the creamy latte, and it was delicious and warming. We tried the Pistachio Cherry Tart. I loved the pistachio flavor, but the tart was a bit dry. The cafe is cozy with plenty of seating, perfect for enjoying a drink while chatting with friends or getting some work done on your laptop. There are two private restrooms, though long lines can form at times. Overall, I really enjoyed the visit. Bella was very friendly and helpful, and I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

A good coffee shop that's local to Boston but has a bunch of locations in the dmv now. They have a good variety, pastries, and food options. The pastries and desserts are all pretty good with some better than others. The honey carrot cake is a bit dry and was a little overcooked, but I've had other pastries before that have been good. It's crowded on a Sunday morning, but they have a lot of seating inside and a couple of tables outside along the sidewalk you are nice to sit at if it's a nice day.

This is now our favorite cafe when in DC! Delicious food, good service in a cozy atmosphere. The chocolate heart chocolate mouse dessert they had for Valentine's Day was to die for.

As soon as I saw the name and font, I knew exactly what this place would look like on the inside and how things would be served. Turns out I was exactly right. Fancy sandwiches with a lot of white decor and tile. It's not a bad thing, I just found it amusing. It was a brutally hot day and we were walking around Alexandria in need of a cool spot to have lunch. This place is a good size, the air conditioning was pumpin, and the menu is full of the kind of food that won't leave you feeling bloated and more hot. Your wallet will certainly weigh less, that's for sure. I had the BLAT, which is like if someone added turkey to avocado toast. The sandwich certainly looked nice, and the tastes were all fresh including what I'm guessing is bread baked on site. I also got a lavender lemonade to go with it, and that provided even more refreshment on this super hot day. No complaints on the taste, it was just all pretty expensive for what you get, but I suppose that's the norm around here. Would return if in the area seeking a fresh sandwich, but wouldn't necessarily make any special trips.

We came upon the cafe on our way back from Alexandria. We decided to check it out since there was a line although it was in the evening around 4:30pm. The line moved quite fast and I ordered and paid at the cashier and found seats near the bar area. - pear tart: delicious! The tart had crumbly sweet crust. The almond filling had perfect sweetness and the pear on top complimented it perfectly. - pistachio latte: just okay. The pistachio wasn't too pronounced but it had good hint of sweetness. However, I had to wait for a long time to get my drink and even after finishing my tart. I think that they missed my order and after asking for it, I got it right away.

First time visiting a Tatte after having it on the to do list for so long! Stopped across the street for a pedicure and once told there was a short wait, it was the perfect opportunity! This location is located on the corner, but there's only one entrance, on King St. and people enter through the door on the left. There was a short line, but that gave us plenty of time to figure out what we wanted and look at the bakery items in the glass case. My partner opted for an orange juice ($6) and I, the house latte ($6). It was something new and I really enjoyed the honey and cardamom taste! The staff was nice, drink made quickly and location clean. I'd come back to a Tatte, but not on a regular basis.

My daughter loves their coffee, figured we'd try it out after having pho down the street. Good vibe, love the setting. Great place to catchup with friends. Would give it more stars, but they took a really long time to make my drink. Not sure why it took so long? Probably the Pistachio latte I ordered needed manual grinding? Their coffee is good - quality ingredients. 8 out of 10 for me. Enjoy.

So I went to Tatte's Bakery & Cafe recently to meet up with a colleague. I had heard about the cafe from a few friends and decided it would be a great time to check it out and grab breakfast. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the meal I had and here's why. First things first, I can say that the service was very good. You have to place your order at the check-out register, but no worries, the lady helped me promptly, even though they were moderately busy at the time. The staff was very friendly and once I ordered and sat down at the table, I received my food in less than 5 minutes. Now, to the food. My breakfast sandwich unfortunately was delivered to me cold and the eggs on the sandwich were a bit lifeless. It's almost as if the ingredients are not freshly made with every sandwich and they were sitting around for a bit. The flavor profile overall for the sandwich just did not jump out at me and lacked seasoning. After 2 bites I gave up and decided to call it quits on my breakfast. The bread was also a weird medium between being toasted and not toasted. Almost as if it was toasted for a a minute or so but not long enough for the bread to be crisp Overall, it was a disappointing experience for me. My colleague ordered a French vanilla latte that she said she liked, so I recommend if you do stop here maybe just go for coffee or lattes. The ambiance of the establishment was good. It's located in a central area in Old Town and the restaurant has a lot of seating, including by the window in case you'd like to just relax and people watch.

A few minutes from work sit one of the best bakeries in Town, as soon as you walk in your greeted by staff members. His location is huge, you can come and wok in a peaceful environment or come with a group of friends and enjoy the menu. There's so much to pick from, breakfast and lunch, soups, salads and much more. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was delicious, all white meat, great portion and made to perfection. For drink I have the kale apple it's so so delicious I highlight recommend it. If your on your lunch break or in town make sure to stop on in and you won't regret it. Thank you to the manager of this location for the amazing experience and outstanding customer service.

I didn't know that there was some rule that each person was required to order something. Like, are you okay? I just had a bad feeling about all of this, and we should have just walked out instead of giving our money to support this business - to add to it all, the coffees that we did receive (latte with soy milk, and the mocha) were just poorly made and not strong at all; they were both watered down and bitter at the same time... come on! I went with the Let's Make a Toast, which came with two eggs, my choice of meat, and their signature French toast. I chose scrambled eggs and turkey sausage patties. After craving French toast for so long, I was definitely satisfied. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, and the turkey sausage was flavorful and a nice complement to everything. I also ordered the Jolly Green fresh juice, made with apple, cucumber, celery, spinach, kale, grapes, and lemon. I really enjoyed it. It was fresh and refreshing, with a good balance between the fruit and greens. I also really liked the atmosphere. The restaurant was bright, clean, and inviting, with some really nice décor throughout. Overall, a great late lunch...even though I went full breakfast. They have community partners which supply their goods, and boy did you taste the difference. The food was awesome, exactly what you crave when you want a good breakfast. We ordered the (1) limoncello french toast, (2) BYOB (Build your own breakfast), and (3) HomeGrown coffee cake: -Limoncello french toast: Densely cakey and mochi-like consistency made the french toast a standout to me. It wasn't too sweet, and the vanilla bean creme anglaise sauce was perfectly balanced by the tartness of the lemon curd. The eggs and ham I ordered on the side were pretty standard. - BYOB: The rosemary potatoes and turkey side were AWESOME! I am not a crispy potato person, so I was happy with the softer texture of these potatoes (but my friend didn't like them as much as I did). The turkey was juicy and very flavorful, and an unexpected surprise. The eggs and English muffins were pretty standard. -HomeGrown coffee cake: For $6.5, we were happy with the size of the slice. It a tiny bit too sweet for me with the caramel sauce, but the cake was moist on its own. We felt like we needed 3 people to comfortably eat this size portion. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. We were really happy with our server, the cleanliness of the restaurant (and even the bathroom!), and the ambiance. It was very cute and well-decorated, and I can see it being a great spot for many occasions. It wasn't too loud despite it being pretty full. Overall, I'd recommend HomeGrown if you want a breakfast that won't disappoint. The turkey and rosemary potatoes were my favorite, but I really enjoyed all of the food. I will definitely be back!
