    Halloumi & Sunny-Side Breakfast Sandwich
    Yuna C.

Wide space with lots of seating! Love the pastries but tried their breakfast items - the Breakfast Sandwich was a good portion if you're looking for something not too heavy but still filling. The halloumi was not overly salty or squeaky like other grilled halloumi I've had.

Tatte is super well known in Boston area! They have a full brunch menu and this location but you can also have coffee to go and some small pastries. I had the orange blossom cold brew which was really good. Also had the ham and cheese croissant which was yummy. They didn't warm it originally which I found odd so I did have to ask after the fact. Coffees were super good so definitely come by!

The pastries were all so beautifully displayed

Delicious! My daughter ordered the grilled cheese (I believe with sun dried tomatoes and capers?) and I had one of the tastiest chicken salad sandwiches EVER. The green herb dressing was delicious. You order at the counter and find a seat and your food is brought out to you. The cafe was super cute, not a ton of seating. I believe we spent about $35 for the two sandwiches and two bottles of water. So maybe a touch expensive for what you actually get, but it was good!

Tatte Bakery is such a cute spot! The space is bright, inviting, and has a great atmosphere. It was conveniently located right around the corner from my hotel, making it the perfect breakfast stop. They have a great selection of breakfast dishes and pastries. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich, and the croissant was everything you hope for, perfectly buttery, flaky, and crisp. The tomatoes tasted like they had just been picked from a garden, adding such a fresh flavor. I also grabbed an iced vanilla latte to go, and it was just as delicious. I visited around 10:30 a.m., and while there was a small line, it moved quickly. The dining room was about half full, creating a lively but comfortable atmosphere. The highlight, though, was the service. Every team member I interacted with was genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. They made the entire experience feel effortless and memorable. I would absolutely come back the next time I'm in Boston.

Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and London Fog

Nice ambiance for a cafe. I really enjoyed their London Fog. The tarts and cheesecakes are really yummy. I like that it's a pretty large space for a cafe so there is ample seating. Their breakfasts are simple but satisfying. Great service.

Grabbed a potato and leek soup for a quick snack and was pretty disappointed - lukewarm and quite small. The bread was good, but not worth the $7. Service was fine, all the tables and surfaces were not clean, so that was a bit of a bummer. Generally hit or miss for me with Tatte, won't be ordering soup again.

Came in for a quick breakfast after visiting Boston Public Garden and taking a picture of the Cheers bar--IYKYK. Almond croissant was delicious. The scone was also delicious. The warm oatmeal was, as promised, very warm. Not hot. Just warm. The bread on which the breakfast sandwich was built was so good. 10 out of 10 on the bread. I imagine any Tatte cafe would be as good. The his one right next to the park was spot on.

Lamb Kebab Plate & Iced Pistachio Latte| 10/20/2023

Full transparency here: I was a little concerned when my lamb kebab plate came out because it looked really bland. I'm happy I actually tried it before giving a final judgment because I ended up really liking it and ultimately ate the plate clean. I also ordered the ice pistachio latte and I could tell by the color that it wasn't going to hit for me, and I was correct. This place was super busy when my friends and I got there, but we were able to get a table outside which was nice, because the people watching was really entertaining. Overall, I'd totally visit this place again. There were a couple bakery items that caught my eye and would love to come back to try them.

"It's gonna recommend you to the Spirit in the sky" (Norman Greenbaum) We were chatting with some friends that are "locals" and for whatever reason the topic of coffee shops came up, and they RAVED about Tatte. So, after our walk through the Public Garden and around the Boylston neighborhood we made this Tatte (there are 20 or so around town) our stop for a coffee and a snack. The shop was a beehive of activity with plenty of worker bees filling drink and food orders, a steady stream of customers, a crowded dining room, and plenty of amazing food in the showcase and on the counter as we inched our way to the ordering station. Their menu and showcases entice you with some great looking comforting food and drink from their scratch kitchen and coffee bar. You can satisfy appetites of all size with their selections of breakfast/brunch orders, sandwiches, soups, shakshuka egg plates, bowls, and Grab & Go items to take to your next destination or eat in their dining room. Their bakery cranks out some gorgeous delicacies - pastries, brownies, cookies, cakes, desserts, and breads. And of course, what good is a coffee shop without coffee? You can wet your whistle with around 55 choices in the drip coffee, espresso, iced espresso, hot and iced tea, lattes, milk, juice, and sparkling drink families of beverages. We were between meals and just wanted a light pick-me-up, so we ordered accordingly. Our drinks were a 12-ounce drip coffee and a 12-ounce iced blood orange Hibiscus tea, each were $3.85. Our snacks were a Morning Bun pastry ($4.50) and a gorgeous slice of Tomato and Mozzarella Flatbread ($5.50) that really grabbed my attention as we were working our way down the ordering line. Our food and drink were excellent. I enjoyed the subtle flavorings of my iced tea, and man oh man, was that flatbread a winner! And look at the pricing- very reasonable for a spot in the tourist center of one of America's biggest tourist cities. Our friends were right - Tatte is a wonderful place.

Coffee Caramel Mousse & Nut Box

Great place for a sweet treat and satisfying beverages- lattes, chai, teas, hot chocolate, and more. It can be quite busy, but the staff is efficient at moving the line along. The atmosphere is a bit cold with tile and hard surfaces, maybe to discourage nursing a cup of coffee & sitting all day. It is a bit pricy, but what isn't these days?

A beautiful space to grab a tasty treat or enjoy one of the many beverage options they offer. I stopped in for a little afternoon snack and was hoping to also get a drink, but the one I wanted it was out of stock at the time so I settled on the lemon poppyseed cake/loaf and the chocolate cookie sandwich. Both treats were less than five dollars each as we're most things available in the pastry/snack displays. The staff were friendly and the service was pretty quick and the food menu actually looked like it was quite tasty as well, but I'll have the return to try some things off of the full menu.

We were staying a block from here, decided to pop in and great choice! It was tough to choose because everything looked so good but we weren't ready for a full breakfast. We chose a chocolate and almond croissants. The chocolate one had perfect amount of chocolate as did the almond. Caramel latte and strawberry tea refresher which was a tad too sweet but both were good. I wish we lived closer, I'd be there often.

    Potato and Bacon Shakshuka (10/10)
    Jonathan K.

A Boston staple, beautiful interior, lots of seating to sit and chat. What's not to like about this place? If you're out of town visiting and need a place to study/work/hang out for a little, find one of the nearby Tatte's! 100% recommend, good service, and fantastic environment. Potato and Bacon Shakshuka ($15, 10/10) - This was honestly SO GOOD, I'd 100% get this dish again. Heads up it's basically a potato chowder, not really shakshuka - Very different from traditional red sauce shakshuka, but it's delicious in its own right - They give 2 slices of bread, along with a shareable-sized stainless-steel pan - The potato is soft and rich, bacon is thick, and the sauce is super creamy - Would definitely come again. Can recommend this dish. Easy, light dish for 2 people to share

The smell of bacon was too good to keep moving past it and we decided to head inside. Best happy accident!! Any place that has staff wearing shirts that say "Stoked for yolks" and has an array of pig decor- jackpot! The small menu was deliciously stacked with breakfast and lunch options; the griddle was sizzling, there's a drink fridge, and a spot to stand and consume. My husband got a turkey and I did a ruby melt; SO GOOD! I perused the menu, and the breakfast options all looked incredible! If you find yourself on this end of Tremont and you smell amazing bacon, follow your nose to Mike and Patty's - you will not be disappointed! Also, staff was super friendly! There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!

First of all, the pastry case just beautifully displays all the baked goods. It's quite a sight to see! I love the variety and flavors, very unique. If you know what you want, gotta get in line and grab it quick! If you wanna put in your own order, you can use the kiosk, which is really fun to use. I ordered a chai with oat milk (it's very light in flavor) and got a bialy. Honestly I had not had a bialy in over 25+ years... and was surprised to see it in the case and I had to have it. A corn + cheddar bialy. It did NOT disappoint. I also got london fog with oat milk previously, also very nice, but this place was soooo good we had to come back. My daughter loves pop tarts so when she saw it in the case, she got a blueberry pop tart and said it was very flakey and the jam was very jamful. It was the-last-one, even had the sign stuck in it!! She also got the french toast (2 slices) with kid's milk and said it was the best french toast she's ever had. My sis got a chocolate pain suisse, which I had never seen before. It's basically brioche filled with pastry cream and chocolate. It looked delicious and with coffee, my sis ate the whole thing up. All in all, this place has so much delicious eats..
