Great neighborhood brunch spot and we were told reservations are needed to eat inside. The front is the bakery, walk to the side to be seated for brunch. Service was quick, food came out hot and our waiter kept our drink glasses full. Pancakes were fluffy , breakfast potatoes seasoned to my liking, bacon was crispy but not overdone. Every item ordered was correct, good, hot, and we left full and satisfied. Normally only come for breakfast/coffee which is average, but the weeknight dinner menu is great! Perhaps my favorite buffalo cauliflower, especially if you like blue cheese. All of the appetizers were great for sharing. We did have to ask for the weeknight menu because they didnt offer it to us, so keep that in mind if you're looking for the prix fixe. I had a good meal here! They make their biscuit in house and it's very moist and delicious . I highly recommend their country biscuit sandwich! The egg filing was huge and they put generous amounts of bacon. Way better than a typical Starbucks breakfast sandwich. I felt like the sandwiches were kinda huge! So although the price is high, the food is large sizes. The employees are super helpful. And the prices are probably typical in South End, considering that it's a pretty fancy area. Underwhelmed after hearing many good things about this place. I went to the cafe to get pastries. Nothing really stood out but I got the brownie and the cinnamon bun. Both were just alright. The cinnamon bun was actually below average. Way too much bread and it was as dry as it looked from the outside. I expected the inside to be moist but it wasn't. Maybe for those who do not want very sweet desserts these pastries would be better suited for them. Came here for dinner with friends last night and it was wonderful! Very intimate, small area of seating downstairs for dinner. Staff was very kind and quick. What we ordered: - 3 dip appetizers with pita AND we had a gluten free guest and they were kind enough to bring her a plate of vegetables to dip. 10/10, incredible dips and crispy pitas. Were were eating the dip with forks by the end. - Brussels sprouts: 9/10, simple roasted Brussels sprouts with sauce on the side, wish they could have had some sort of glaze. - Salmon Dinner: 9/10, my friends loved it but wished the salmon itself had a glaze, great portion - Kale salad with salmon: heavy on the kale which wouldn't fill me up but it worked for her, 7.5/10 -Bolognese: I am obsessed with bolognese and eat it everywhere I go, this one was fine. It was fresh and it was a great portion, it just didn't leave me with any lasting memory, 8/10. They also have a big cocktail menu and the drinks were wonderful! Came back here to try some of their other offerings, this time during the afternoon, and was reminded of just how much this spot's energy can brighten your day! Definitely one of my favorite cafes in the city- it just always feels so welcoming and friendly! Really, a lovely place to be. I'm a huge fan of their cafe menu's offerings and NEED to come back to try their restaurant. The food here is always a hit, but I was a little disappointed this time around with the matcha, the strawberry syrup didn't taste fresh and it lacked quality matcha flavor (but I can't blame them, matcha isn't what they're known for, and I'd much rather come here just for their food to pastries anyway). I'm happy to finally check this place off my "must try list," but a little disappointed to say I might not be coming back. For a Sunday brunch it still hit the spot, but for the price I would not go out of my way to go here. The atmosphere was picture perfect. Great views in a quiet neighborhood. Can't really ask for more! In terms of service I felt as though were not attended too well. This was surprising considering we were 1/2 groups seated outside. We had to ask twice for water refills. The drinks were good, not special but good. I probably would've gotten a second round if the waiter had came over to ask! In terms of food I LOVED the ricotta fritters. I find nutella to be a bit much at times but it was seriously so so good. Perfect amount of sweetness and great portion to share with 2 friends. For my main I got the avocado toast and added 2 poached eggs. It was BEAUTIFUL, but was a bit more photo-worthy than tasty. The eggs were a pinch overdone for my liking and the toast was a bit underdone. More generally, it definitely needed a little more of a kick as well. The avocado was fresh and perfectly textured but lacked flavor. I ended up stealing a bite of my friends Caesar salad as well and was SUPER impressed by the grilled chicken. SO moist and flavorful. If I come back I'll likely be getting a chicken dish instead. read more

We went there for brunch on a Saturday and they went out of their way to make us comfortable! We had three dogs at our table on the patio, which can be hard to navigate, but the staff were so patient and accommodating. And that goes a long way! Came here on a weekday afternoon and the place wasn't super busy, but there were still a few people inside ordering. They still had a decent selection of pastries left which was nice and offered a good variety. The inside felt pretty casual and clean. I eventually just settled on a tea latte and their peanut butter & jelly cookie which honestly was pretty solid - the giant slab of jelly in the middle was a nice touch to what otherwise was just a peanut butter cookie. Tasty, but very sweet. Overall, I thought his spot was pretty solid for a midday sweet and I found the tea to be all right - just heavy on the milk. Reasonable distance to the Wilbur Theater. The place does not have a lot of curb appeal at street level, but it has a really cool interior below level. They have a modest but diverse wine list and prices for food and drink are reasonable. My wife ordered the steak which was moist and flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy. Such a hidden brunch restaurant gem located in the South End. After eating here I was about to make my next reservation. Truly delicious brunch food! I came here with my best friend on a Sunday morning and we were seating on the lower level restaurant floor. It was so cute and decorative inside, I loved the vibes. Half of the business is a cafe, and the other half is a sit down restaurant. The service was good and we got our food at a reasonable time despite the restaurant/cafe being on the busier side. I ordered Huevos Rancheros, which were AMAZING! Definitely one of the best in Boston. My friend ordered a smoked salmon breakfast dish, which she really enjoyed as well. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, and there was a party on my plate. I really enjoyed the fresh salsa w/ cojita and mashed avocado as a compliment to the dish. Great food. The home fries, were truly something to write home about. I am not usually a home fries person, so I was hesitant, but these were one of the best I've ever had. It's not the best matcha quality wise but I like how concentrated the matcha flavor is. I also like how they have their own simple syrup on the side that I can use to sweeten the drink myself. Went for a weeknight date night with my partner. Sat outside which was lovely on a warm summer evening. The service was attentive. The beverages were decent. The food was fine. They had a great deal which included steak frites, which my partner ordered, however the steak was very small and very overcooked but the bottomless fries made up for it. The lobster roll was a bit untraditional but good in its own way, just a little too bready and too much lettuce. Overall I imagine we will frequent this place during the summer, primarily for drinks +/- a more affordable meal when we are feeling too lazy to cook. read more

While the food continues to be delicious, their new holiday ordering feature for December 2025 doesn't work, despite my trying multiple browsers & multiple devices. All I see are the options from the regular menu. The holiday ordering feature didn't work well in Thanksgiving 2025, either. The café manager had to call people up to confirm whether they would use delivery or pick up orders. Also no veggie options on the pre fixe. I got burrata and it came out with I'm pretty sure the same Whole Foods crackers I have on my shelf at home, and fig jam. The bursts was about the size of a fist, I did expect more cheese considering the price. They also gave me about 20 whole walnuts. Came here for the first time yesterday here are some thoughts: Pros: the ginger peach tea and Carmel hot chocolate were great! Cons: we had got a butterscotch scone and asked for it to be warmed up. Went here for brunch and it was definitely better than I anticipated! I first found out about this place because Brick Street Bagels does their pop up here and even though my friends and I weren't successful in preordering the bagels, lowkey it's a good strategy to come here for brunch and then check to see if they have leftover anyways!! Because they did when we went and we successfully secured the bag! In terms of the actual restaurant, be advised it's definitely a smaller space in here and they do have a policy that each person over 15 min late will be charged $25 so allot extra time! They also mostly have egg based dishes, so if that's not what you're into, it's a little trickier substituting. I am one of those people and got the breakfast torta with sausage instead, which despite the sausage lacking in flavor and being overpriced, the sandwich was good overall with the bread very crisp on the edges and soft in the middle! I had asked the waitress, though, if they substituted eggs for free and she said said she'd have to ask and get back to me but never did and I ended up being charged $6 which I didn't love because I otherwise would have chosen differently so just be careful! As for the drinks, I like most sangrias but this one didn't really hit the same and I probably wouldn't order it but I did try my friend's guava mimosa and that was delicious so would recommend! read more

We met our daughter here for brunch on a drizzly day. Our reservation was for outside but the umbrellas had us covered. There were tons of people coming in just for the coffee but unfortunately they don't provide a menu with the coffee options. I ordered a cappuccino and my daughter ordered an oat milk latte. My cappuccino was fine but not very warm. My daughter's latte tasted like coffee with milk added. We ordered a pastry basket for the table and I would say this was the best part of our meal. I split the salmon and eggs with my husband and found everything very bland. My daughter's pancakes were tasty. I think we might have enjoyed it more had we come on a less busy time.
