Contacting the event coordinator, Fatima was easy. She was very responsive, gave food suggestions for our party and was a pleasure to work with. She even was on hand the night of the party to answer a few questions we had. Our bartender/waitress, Danielle, was friendly, attentive and worked very hard to make our night pleasant for our guests. And for the biggest reason we chose The Pearl is the food. We have been restaurant patrons for many years. I always say ,"I haven't had a bad meal yet." It's still true. Not only are the event menu choices endless, they are very affordable too. Many of our guests were not accustom to Portuguese cuisine, but enjoyed the Chicken Mozambique and the Carne Assada and roasted potatoes. With some sides, a fresh salad, rolls and Grandmothers pudding, our guests left happy and satisfied, ready for the wedding the next day.

Luckily, Mary Ellen's is directly across the street from the hotel. We order the corn beef Benedict, Portuguese French toast, and side order of pancakes. The French toast was really good. I really enjoyed it. Corn beef Benedict was mid but I enjoyed it. Price was very fair, affordable. Service was great. This place felt like home. Very cozy with a lot of locals enjoying breakfast and coffee. Highly recommend coming here if you're around for breakfast
