    pineapple margarita

Service was pretty good for a sunday afternoon, not too crowded. They have outside seating which is our preference! Tried the brisket chilaquiles which were okay, but were also giving nachos. However, the pineapple marg and carne asada burrito were soooo good!! I will definitely be getting the burrito next time.

Went for lunch during the week. I never have a bad experience at Cunningham group restaurants, and I had high expectations. In a nutshell, food was great! But the service was very slow. it took long to order our food, wait for the food, and it took another while before we could pay and leave. They must have been understaffed. By the time we started eating, about 50 minutes had passed since we walked in. However, I did like my chicken wrap with a side of Mac and cheese. Although the service itself was slow, our server was nice. I'll probably go back on weekends when I don't have to worry about going back to work after eating.

My friend and I were in Indy for a concert & stopped in for a cocktail before going to the concert. We enjoyed our drinks & they were made strong. We sat outside and liked the ambiance inside and out. Our service was good considering it was a busy Saturday evening.

My friends and I will sometimes pop into this place on a nice day to sit on the patio. I love coming on Wednesday's because their $5 margaritas are fabulous! Service is always fast and enjoyable.

Great tavern right in the middle of Mass ave. We popped in while exploring the city as a storm blew in and it was our favorite stop of the weekend! Our drinks were great and the bartender was lovely. We ordered the brisket hummus and turkey club and both were delicious. Would absolutely go back again.

We had a wonderful time at Tavern. Jessie was so awesome serving us! He gave stellar recommendations, and service. He truly was an awesome server. Thank you Jessie!

I went to Tavern at the Point on a warm evening to have appetizers and drinks. The location of the patio was perfect for people watching on Mass Ave, and right behind Dancing Anne. The menu was a nice size with average American food. The drinks were good and very reasonably priced. We had nachos and cheese curds to eat and Moscow Mules to drink. The portions of the food were pretty large for two people to split and we were able to take some home. Overall it was a good place for a quick sit down with great people watching and a good ambiance. The server we had was polite and knowledgable.

Came back after having a very meh experience many years ago with an open mind. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese on the side. FYI - the Mac and cheese is tasty and spicy! The chicken sandwich was very, very good. I felt like it held together; the flavors were good, and the right amount of spice overall. Decently priced for the amount of food you get too! Would recommend!

    The Pastrami Reuben and Broccolini

Never in my life have I ever ordered a Reuben anywhere. It's just not what I typically go towards. However - the waitress said it's incredibly popular and really good so I went for it and I was not disappointed. The flavor was incredible, it was hot and fresh, and the broccolini on the side was perfectly cooked. My husband got the BLTA which was a massive sandwich and he enjoyed the entire thing. The fries were good and better than most pub fries I would say! Unfortunately I didn't snap a picture of my friend's food - but it was the reason for 4 stars. She got the fish tacos and the menu didn't say they were fried - but they were - and they were so fried that they were hard to bite into. They were simply a couple tortillas with slaw and a piece of fried fish. It was a bit of a let down and she didn't eat it. She ate her side, and half my sandwich! That menu item could use some help, but everything else was great.

Good food with a great patio! Yummy selection of cocktails and a solid menu with plenty of options.

    Pimento Mac 'N Cheese

Came out to Tavern at the Point for a Saturday light lunch. The restaurant was short staffed for everything going on in Indy but staff was hustling to make everyone feel accommodated and taken care of. We sat at the bar and waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to greet us. Brittany was working behind the bar and was fabulous at handling the stress of the crowd! She was making small talk when she could, had great menu recommendations, and kept making us smile. We decided to start with the Pamplemousse Spritz & Blood Orange Sparkler. The spritz was made with gin and had a good fruity flavor; perfect summer drink! I got the Sparkler which was a bit more spirit forward but equally fruity. For our main, we decided the share the BLTA with fries but also share the Pimento Mac and Cheese. The BLTA was really good and a large portion of a sandwich; the fries could have been a bit more crispy for my liking. We had high hopes for the pimento mac and cheese that sadly weren't met. The cheese was missing the classic pimento bite to it. It ended up taking on more of the jalapeño flavor. Either way, it was a nice, casual lunch spot!

    Cucumber margarita

We arrived a little early down on Mass Avenue for an event so we decided to stop in here for a cocktail first as it was a hot summer day and it was nearby. We were greeted promptly and seated by a friendly hostess. The view of city foot traffic outside the windows was so appealing. Had it been a cooler day they also have a great location for their covered outdoor patio. I noticed they were offering a Devour Indy menu which looked tasty for lunch another day. I had a cucumber margarita which was delicious for a hot summer day. My husband had his usual old fashioned that he said was good also. Nice meeting place for meals and/or cocktails.

Always great food and service! Love coming here for their outdoor patio. Pictures include Mediterranean wrap with broccolini and cauliflower wings. Came in on Sunday and they had $5 mimosas or bloody Mary's!

I did see they allow you to make reservations on Open Table, so I booked it for a weekday to try it out. It wasn't nearly as busy as the parking lot looked, there was plenty of seating. It was a nice day so they had the windows open and they also had someone playing live music so it was a tad loud but, not overly loud where you can't hear your conversation. The menu is not your typical menu, it's very crafty if that's a word. The service was very good, and she explained the menu well and we took her up on her recommendations. Turkey pastrami which I had never had before. It tastes really fresh and felt healthy. The salad comes in a little small bowl but full of goodness. It's a really nice place for a girls night out, or a family dinner. Wouldn't consider it a good place for date night as it is pretty loud.

Started with the cauliflower steak- curry with saffron rice with potatoes and a pomegranate molasses along with the brightness of cilantro and mint. This is listed as a large plate, but we chose it as our starter. Hubs had the pork belly and by how quickly it disappeared, he definitely enjoyed it! I was torn on what to choose, but ended up with the shrimp étouffée and so glad I did! The sauce was divine and the apple chutney added a surprisingly wonderful addition. Dessert? Of course! Banana pudding for the hubs and I had the apple cider whoopie pie. This thing was giant! I tasted the banana pudding and it was good. I might have stolen some whip cream to taste with the whoopie pie and honestly- five five stars.

It's a very small kitchen where all the action happens, which is very impressive for a restaurant their size. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Most ingredients were locally sourced and staff highlighted the importance of souring fresh local ingredients with every dish. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.

Called at 6 and got a reservation for 8, for 5 of us on a Saturday night. This is kind of an anomaly for any restaurants off Mass Ave. We were seated right away and started with drinks and apps. We got "Disco Boys" and "I'm too pretty for this" cocktails which were tasty - kudos for the fun cocktail names. Calamari, Artisan, and Charcuterie came shortly after. There's a few different options of cheeses and meats, it's sort of a choose your own adventure situation. All were good, especially the calamari. A lot of restaurants tend to overcook it and the calamari gets rubbery, not the case here. Our entrees came out next and I made sure to try a bite of everyone's LOL. The standout of all the entrees was definitely the "Duck, duck" which was, obviously, duck. The runner up would definitely have to be the chicken cacciatore.
