Apparently don't come to this sports bar if you're hoping to catch local games and not, say, college football which is all they can show, I guess?? Went to get some food and catch the Kraken game. Asked 3 different servers if they could put the Kraken game on; was told yes each time, but never happened. The Sounders were also playing at the same time, but that game wasn't on either. Food was ok, typical bar food, fried pickles were too salty, there weren't enough servers so had to wait forever for everything. Definitely won't be back. read more

Such an amazing place to gather, eat amazing food, drink wonderful beer, and cheer for the Oregon Ducks like a true fish out of water. My mom and I visited Tavern Hall Thanksgiving weekend to watch the Ducks play the Huskies amongst a crowd of very enthusiastic Washington fans. Besides the few old grumps who would glare at us and huff every time the Ducks scored, we were treated pretty well in "enemy territory." Tavern Hall has incredibly energetic vibes and we felt very welcomed on our visit. The bar has beverages for everyone: from microbrews to cocktails or zero proof options. It was out first time in seattle and me and my boyfriend had dinner here. Our server Mason(hopefully it's spelt that way) was a great server and he took care of us. Our food came out pretty quickly and it was delicious especially the jalapeños dip thing-wish i had more. He made sure to check on us and when we were about to pay we got a free dessert- s'mores dessert because it was our first time in Seattle. The dessert was delicious!!! read more

Went there today for early dinner with a friend I had the hamburger delicious we had the French onion soup both of us and we couldn't eat it because it was so salty that my face would've blown up we let the waitress know that it was so salty and she compensated us for it and took it off our bill but chef in the back do not make it so salty read more

Our smash burgers were OK but honestly I've had better burgers at Five Guys. For $20 a burger I expected much better. The fried pickles were cut so thin that you couldn't really taste the pickles. The batter overwhelmed the flavor. The service was nice though. read more

If your going to there , and say "whatever you want it's on me", you might want to change that to let's get something to eat because for liquor they have rip van winkle " reserve and colonel Taylor which is going to take a big bite to Ching Ching. When you go in a place and have he first offer sweet potato fries and truffles fries you know it's going to be a meal that's either good or the other way. Lucky for me the burger was good and I mean as my Midwest friends say Omaha good which I have no ideal what that mean. The server was polite and started to tell me about the burger and meat use and blah blah , I was thinking just feed me Seymour , his name wasn't Seymour.. it's was a mouthful so much I couldn't finished it and I was starving. We came here for happy hour on a Friday and it was open seating at the back bar. We found some seats and a server brought us some menus. We ordered a spicy chicken sando, classic cheeseburger, and a Moscow Mule. The portion sizes on the burger and sandwich was very fair. We liked the flavor of the pickles that came with it too. The burger and sandwich were both just a bit too oily for our liking. It was a nice place to come for happy hour. I wish the sandwich and burger could have come with some fries, even if just a few. We definitely left feeling full but the oil was a bit much, so probably just a once in awhile place to eat. The Moscow Mule was pretty standard but on the sweeter side, we wished that the ginger beer taste could have been stronger. read more

I ordered a Moscow mule and was informed they make the ginger beer in house. An absolutely delicious cocktail. Refreshing and perfect. The kale salad with salmon was super tasty. Add fresh ground pepper to cut the creamy dressing and super yummy. The bar is covered in pennies and televisions offer different sporting events to watch. Yum! The food here is pretty tasty. There was a 45 min wait on a Sunday at 2 pm, so it's also popular! I ordered the Shrimp & Grits. The shrimp had a nice snappy texture and the side of bread soaked up the sauce well. I really enjoyed the sausage too! It added a nice saltiness. Just stopped in before our movie today for a quick bite. We were ignored for the 15 minutes while the staff BS'd at the bar. Had to flag down the bartender to order. Pizza came out quick. It was ok. Arnold Palmer tasted funky like the lemonade was carbonated. No one stopped by to asked how our food was or see if we needed anything. Then had to go to the bartender again while he was once again BS ing with the folks sitting at the bar to pay. He had to ask where we were at... There were only 10 people in the restaurant. On the way out the manager who was also busy chatting and laughing with her staff instead of checking in here guests asked how things went. I said I wouldn't be back. She chased me out the door and after a brief exchange she became very snarky. I've been here several times in the past. Now I know why they can't manage to get a 4 star rating. Tavern Stall Y'all! No go! Pretzels' skin looked good but the insides were like eating soggy, wet bread. Not chewy and not good flavor. The cheese sauce was good but not the pretzels. The $20+ burger came out completely wrapped in foil like it came from a drive-thru. Unwrapped, it looked and tasted like it was sitting in a warmer for an hour+. Flat, soggy bun, dry meat, no seasoning. If I had wanted fast food, Shake Shack is right downstairs, which would have made a way better burger. Our lowly two-person table was no competition for the two other 4 & 8 tops that the server was complementing and performing for. We didn't ask for much, just some extra ketchup but that alone was a 12 minute wait. We were almost done eating by then! Our two soft drinks were delivered separately, six minutes apart. Why? No check-in until we were well done eating, when it was time to pay the bill. If you are dining alone, forget it! This is the kind of wait staff that will resent you for being a single person and easily forget about you if you're not in a large group. Four people minimum or you will likely be ignored. The place looks nice and bathrooms are clean but in downtown Bellevue with the prices what they are, this place leave much to be desired. Excellent service from Alex and great food! We had 4 ladies and a child for lunch on a Monday. Walked right in at 12:30, no wait. Alex provided me some suggestions and some customizations to my spicy chicken sandwich to make it less spicy and the spicy honey sauce was AMAZING, not spicy either! The kids cheese burger is the best deal on the menu, but not sure if you can order it as an adult. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious, just wish it had more bread with it. My friends loved the steak tips, avocado toast, and clam chowder. They don't validate parking, but bellevue square parking is free, Lincoln square is not. I would definitely go back. I have visited a few halls in such a style where you can order beers and pretzels. This one is located in the downtown part of Bellevue. Super easy to spot and find free or validated parking around the location. Just on the third floor of the lodge on the way down the bridge to lincoln square. It is a huge space with lots of rooms to rent or reserve in the back too and has a real upscale beer hall kind of vibe where you're not just at a picnic park bench but indoors. Almost like a blend between a beer hall and a pub. They do have an alcohol / bar section and a more family friendly section. So you can definitely dine in with family. The bar you seat yourself. I think the service is better on the restaurant side but the staff is nice regardless of where you sit...just slower on the bar side. Menu for drinks covers the bases from cocktails to beers. Food covers nachos and burgers and pizzas. Overall, medium pricing for the area. There are some things here that are a total hit; like the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo or the pretzels with all the sauces. The pizzas to us were mid. Tavern Hall is probably one of the better spots that you're going to find if you are considering the following: How quick they can get you in, quality of food, how fresh the food is/hot/cold, in addition to overall atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant. As you know, Bellevue, as a really lovely place still struggles a-lot of the time with restaurants always being busy and they don't really provide super great customer service or urgency to get your party seated. The steelhead kale salad was tasty and hit the spot because I want something light and somewhat healthy.
