The food and libation options feature a lot of different choices, including vegan selections. There's a rooftop area with an amazing outdoor view of the arts district. I usually find myself at Taverna for an event, as they are often the host of many types of artistic activities. The decor features artists along the hallways. Highly recommended if you want a place with multiple seating choices; indoor, outdoor, upstairs, downstairs.

This is a hidden gem. The address says Main Street, though it is actually on 1st. Parking is good if you have an Apple phone. There is some street parking. The venue has an industrial vibe with cute lighting that changes colors. At the time we went it was "seat yourself:, so we did. The Chef brought us menus, and was very personable. Two of us ordered the grilled mahi-mahi over macadamia rice with Brussel sprouts, Mom had the mahi-mahi fish & chips, and my friend had the Kailua pork bowl with rice and a macaroni salad. Each dish was beautifully plated with generous portions, as well as being extremely yummy. My friends said they'll be going back.

Helpful Tip: CHECK YOUR BILL My family and I waited over 20 minutes after being seated (two additional tables and one person at the bar) for service. The chef Chris casually stopped by to inquire about our service. He apologized and took our beverage and food order. To his credit he helped move things along and the food came out quickly. That part was appreciated. Short staffed was clear and I get it but empathy only goes so far when the issues stack up the way they did here. The food was mixed to be fair. The panko calamari was overdone charred burn like taste otherwise flavorless and a hard pass. The margarita pizza was forgettable think cafeteria pizza nothing more. The ahi tuna was actually a solid choice def not the best I've ever had but the layered flavors and the wontons was a hit. The brussels were genuinely good and probably the highlight of everything ordered. Billing was a disaster and sent me over the edge. I was charged incorrectly for happy hour items on multiple items . Instead of 50% off most items rang up at 25% off or full price with only one item correctly discounted. I brought it up three separate times including directly with the chef who literally pointed to the items on the menu confirming they were happy hour eligible. Two servers couldn't resolve it after multiple attempts and a significant amount of time I eventually gave up and walked out. (Partially my fault for not reviewing the bill before paying but the drawn out wait time to even get the bill had m ready to go). There are only so many apologies an establishment can offer before it becomes clear there is an operations problem not just a bad night. No structure poor knowledge of menu inconsistent service and unable to make a straightforward billing issue right. This is Vegas. There are too many quality options competing for your time and money to settle for this. One time is way more than enough.

I really wanted to find a dog friendly restaurant with a cute patio, so today we're reviewing to Terna Costera in the Arts District. As a reminder, I don't get paid or comped for my reviews, so let's get into it. We came around 11:30 AM on a Sunday, and we had the patio all to ourselves. We started with the cucumber Mojito, which was nice and refreshing. We shared the shrimp ceviche appetizer, which was OK, but it was missing a little something - maybe some jalapeños would've helped. We were super excited to try the barbecue ribs and cornbread. Even though the ribs were really good, they came out cold, which was a bummer. The cornbread was super bland, but at least our pup really liked it. Our pup also seemed to like his eggs, and I do like that you can buy one à la cart. All in all, taverna does have a lot of potential, so we're giving this one 3.5 out of five stars.

As soon as we entered the establishment, it was so inviting! Camila, our waitress, was phenomenal! The food was AMAZING! Cudos to the chef!! Came from Orlando and this is by far our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas Arts district!

What a delightful experience. Interesting menu, loved the fried ribs and spicy margaritas. Outside dining options. Colorful art displayed for sale. Small, intimate, nice vibe.

Taverna Costera is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in the Arts District. Their menu, curated beautifully by Chef Chris and owner Jeff Hwang, combines the absolute best of flavors inspired by Hawaiian Fusion AND Coastal Mediterranean fusion. This unique fusion is a work of art. Truly. The other great aspect of this place is its staff. I still don't know everyone's names, but there are many standouts: Jessica, Alex(es), Jennifer, Max, Amanda, and more. They all make guests feel especially welcomed. Food prices are also very affordable, especially considering the quality and quantity. My favorites are their newest small Dragon Bowls, but every selection is worth trying. A BIG THUMBS UP!!!

Nonchalant atmosphere, inviting and yet playful.... An open area for all to blend bringing the life of a good one party zone

Taverna Costera at 1031 Main St is a fantastic spot with truly amazing customer service. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. What really makes this place stand out is the incredible fusion of Hawaiian and Asian flavors--everything is so well balanced and delicious. The fries and steak are my personal favorites, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Great food, great service, and an inviting atmosphere make this a place I'll definitely keep coming back to.

What a charming place. Located on Main street in the arts district, the atmosphere is cozy but modern with saleavle art decor. This quaint restaurant across from the burlesque theater should be packed 24/7. Combination dining, rooftop bar, and coffee shop the menu has something for everyone with a hawaiin flair. I had the breakfast sambo which comes on a thick Jape ese Milk Bread with just the right amount of crispness on the outside and soft goodness on the inside. It comes with breakfast potatoes in the form of whole purple potatoes cooked and seasoned well. The jam, eggs, sausage, and maple syrup blended perfectly. I am a big hungry guy but I could not finish this monster. Our table also enjoyed the blackened burger and the turkey sandwich both of which were large portions. Next time we will try the honey toast desert but I was too full. The website menu is not up to date, they have ao much more. Essentially the items on the website is just the happy hour menu. They also have donbyri, loco moco, fried rice, and other hawaiian flavors. With several interesting drinks and bottled beers on the menu, some tv's, and live entertainment at night, we will definitely be back. Alexis was an excellent waiter, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.

Ask the Community - Taverna Costera

Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered fish that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free french fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Is there anything on the menu that is safe for someone with Celiac?

Yes, all you have to do is read the descriptions on the menus and you can be extra sure by asking your server.

What flavor mimosas do you have?

They have orange, pomegranate, cranberry, & pineapple.

You'll find them on the casino floor and if you go left from Golden Circle Sports Bar, they're at the former spot of Las Vegas Yacht Club seafood restaurant. Inside is a lively atmosphere and very spacious, has elegant Japanese style latern and modern decor. You can dine at the bar or table, and there's ample seating. Soft opening was on September 1, 2025. They had their grand opening on October 3, 2025, the same day when they had their liquor license. They offer sake, wine, beer, and san miguel. Menu has a great selection of starters, soup, premiums, house specialty, tofu dish, noodle stir fry, noodle soup, fried rice, desserts and beverages. The Wor Wonton Soup ($18) is excellent and incredibly delicious! Soup broth is nicely seasoned and flavorful, has four big portions of pork & shrimp wontons, tender chicken, succulent shrimp, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms and carrots, it usually includes beef but I ask to omit, and I love how they're able to accommodate. It's so nice to meet Anthony, he's VP, and came by to my table to check in, asked how everything was, he's very welcoming and personable. I also met the head chef, Eduardo, he was the one who prepared the soup, it's superb! I wish more people know about this fantastic restaurant. Not a lot of people know about this hidden gem. Everyone in the staff is kind and accommodating, including Juan, he gave helpful directions where to find them. The dining area is immaculate, has high ceiling, and table seating can accommodate up to 250 people. This is not a traditional Chinese restaurant. Ace Dragon Wok primarily focus on guest curated experiences, and can customize any order especially for dietary needs for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. The chef is well versed in Pan-Asian inspired cuisines, and everything is customizable to the region of preference, such as Malaysian, Indonesian, Tawainese, Japanese (excluding sushi), Filipino, Thai, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Korean. This is all based on reservation, a minimum of two hours advance notice is needed before opening to allow the chef adequate time to prepare a customization menu. They also make their own five spice and chili oil. Service from Joaquin, Anthony, and Juan is very kind, welcoming, attentive, and friendly! Joaquin recommends to try Malay Curry Lime Salmon, it's a spicy dish but they can modify to make it not spicy which is great!

Enormous disappointment…read more We were so looking forward to our meal here. I'm in my "seafood period" right now and I was excited at the potential I saw in the menu here. It's beautiful. But you no doubt know that from all of the Insta pics. Plan on some extra time to allow all of the wannabe influencers that are staging photo shoots at the entrance, which is famously decked out in fake flowers and pretty vignettes. It's all downhill from there. We were about 10 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation and the hostess told us she would seat us "closer to our reservation time". OK. That is sort of unusual since the restaurant seemed empty but sure. 5:30 came and went. We went back up to the hostess stand... apparently there was some shift change that was holding things up. Again, that's OK. But there was an attitude about it all that wasn't very friendly. We were shown to our table soon and it was a nice curvy booth. We both noticed pretty quickly that the music is too loud. That makes everyone have to talk loudly so you will be surrounded by tables of people yelling at each other. Our server seemed distinctly unimpressed that we didn't order any alcohol. You could see the moment he lost interest in us. When my partner asked about the chicken he sort of menu shamed us. We ordered expensive food so his attitude was unnecessary and he did warm up a bit after that. I had the seafood tower for one. This is $68 a person. When they put it in front of me, I was honestly confused. I couldn't hear a thing our server was saying over the loud music so I missed his descriptions of the items. There was something so bizarre on this seafood tower - something that looked like an oyster shell full of whipped cream. What in the world? Oh it's so much worse than that. To my horror, I tried it and found this is some sort of absolutely foul lemongrass cream or some nonsense like that. It was an enormous amount of it - a full mouthful and at the bottom of the shell was supposedly an oyster. I didn't find it and I wouldn't want to eat an oyster that had been sitting in that offensive pool. Wow. That is so amazingly bad. Nowhere on the menu do they warn you what they are going to do to your oysters. It's truly appalling - so bad in fact that I just had to say something to the waiter. He seemed surprised but I don't buy it. This cannot be popular. Anyway, rant over. The rest of the seafood tower was just OK. The lobster was tiny and not super fresh. The shrimp were sort of "meh" but the hit surprisingly was the scallop ceviche... very nice and bright. Note there is no bread either offered or on the menu. Felt weird. It's needed. For our main course, my partner got the filet mignon and a side lobster tail. His lobster was also of the "wee" variety and a bit tough. Steak was nice though and cooked as requested. I had the Truffle Mushroom with Spaghetti and added the jumbo shrimp. This was also terrible. I thought I liked truffles - but I bit into something in this dish that again I can only describe as foul. And the sauce was just too much and overwhelming. I ate about three bites and just gave up. We spent about $260 before tip. With no drinks. This was a pretty stunningly bad meal.

The uni dynamite was surprisingly super filling and was the favorite of the night. The fried chicken was also pretty good, crispy and crunchy. I was not as a big fan of the corn, but it was decent.
