    Lamb chop luncheon
    Kathy C.

This is one of my old time favorite restaurants. I have many happy memories of gatherings with friends and families here. One of my favorites was when my son got me to dance on the tables! This afternoon, we enjoyed a delicious lunch here. If you go before 3 PM, you can get a meal for less than half of a dinner. My friend and I enjoyed the lamb chop lunch special that came with 2 lamb chops, salad and French fries. It was fantastic! It was very quiet as we ate outside. We were the only ones there. Even my dog enjoyed the leftover bones! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Boca Raton. It is one of the nicest places to enjoy a meal.

Excellent service. All food was tasty and delicious. We felt like we were in Greek Islands. Huge crowd and long line but absolutely worth the wait. Great flavor, great choices, Perfect evening in Greece. SUPPORT LOCAL "A MUST TRY"

I come down to Boca in the winter months. I have yet to not go to this beautiful restaurant that has authentic delicious Greek food today I opt for the lambs. It is so succulent and seasoned just perfectly. I like mine medium rare. Today Roxana was our waitress She was right there for all I needs and our questions and any other thing that happens. She's right there to help us at the end of the meal. She brought a doggy bags because you cannot eat the whole thing at meal time. Thanks for all the wonderful meals that you have provided your clients with Jackie S

My family has been coming here for years, it's definitely our top favorite! We've come for birthdays, holidays, and even catered from them on Christmas. I've tried most of their seafood dishes, and there has not been a single item that didn't amaze us. The flavors are so unique and delectable. Today we went for Mother's Day, and they offered everyone a complimentary glass of champagne. Each table was decorated with beautiful small flowers, and the entire restaurant had lovely balloons. The service is always so friendly, welcoming, and hard working. I had the Santorini Shrimp and Athens in Boca for the first time, which were both incredible with bold flavors! And I just discovered that they have an amazing happy hour that I have to check out. Will always be returning! Thank you Taverna Kyma for being the best restaurant in Boca.

This place has all the makings of an authentic Greek Taverna - bustling with conversation, Greek music, fresh fish at the fish counter, olive trees, and a bangin' menu. Must dos from the appetizer list: dolmades, beets, and the hummus and bread they bring to the table. Our seared scallops were unfortunately overcooked but given how yummy everything was I'd say this was just a fluke. For dinner we tried the roasted lamb - absolutely delicious, lamb chops - very good, and the moussaka. All excellent choices. Service is very quick and attentive. The restaurant is buzzing. We will absolutely be back!

For my last night visiting my friend in Boca Raton, she took me to Taverna Kyma for happy hour, 2 for 1 glasses of wine, and small plates. It was a TREAT! We sat at the bar and engaged in pleasant conversation with our bartender/server. The house made hummus is creamy and delicious. My friend also ordered one to take home! The grilled calamari was tossed with spinach and spices. It was tender, not chewy, just the right texture. The Greek tacos were divine! The lamb melted in your mouth. The Spanakopita was heaven! It was stuffed with an abundant amount of spinach. The phyllo dough was not too flaky. There is plenty of free parking in the lot. Pleasant music is played quietly throughout the restaurant. There is a tv for your enjoyment at the bar. Overall it was a most enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Taverna Kyma. I look forward to returning again in the near future.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner as our first time experience. Our server was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The complimentary pita and hummus was delicious. The zucchini chips and beet and citrus salad were the perfect starters. My husband and I shared the grilled seafood board and it was amazing. You get a whole branzino, shrimp, calamari, octopus and rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and was just enough for the 2 of us. It would also make a great appetizer for 4-6 people. The baklava for dessert was one of the best I ever had. Charming atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. This is my favorite restaurant in Boca Raton. The food is absolutely delicious and you can tell how much work is put into each food item. My favorite thing on the menu is the Greek kale salad I honestly don't even like kale and this salad is absolutely fantastic. It's also my number one craving this pregnancy so I've definitely had this salad like 14 times the last month. Their hummus and pita is delicious as well. They have great lunch specials. I recommend the chicken kebab which comes with Yaiyai's veggies. The Greek Horiatiki salad is fantastic. The fries are incredible. The grilled octopus is the best I've ever had. The flaming cheese is super fun and very entertaining and delicious of course.

We spontaneously decided to check out Kyma in Boca. It's a delightful Greek restaurant. We ordered drinks, a cheese board and a dip spread. All of which were delicious. Everything was going fine until the flies decided to make an appearance (see videos). They honestly came out of no where! Despite this the food was delicious and will be back for brunch!

I'm a big fan of Taverna Kyma! I don't think it gets the attention it deserves since it's not on Atlantic Ave. both times I've been here, it's been great! The pita and hummus is amazing! You can tell it's freshly made. All the food is great and the service is good as well. I ordered the lam platter and it was pretty good but the lamb was a bit too fatty for my tasting. My mom got the filet mignon platter and it was delicious! I also love the interior decor which really makes you feel like you're in Greece.

Love Greek food and this place has it good. Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff was friendly and very attentive. The gyro platter had gyro meat cooked nicely on top of a pita with all the right veggies and tzatziki sauce and feta. Delicious! Good menu selection of all the traditional Greek dishes you would want. Warm pita and delicious fresh in house made humus complementary on the table shortly after you arrive. Not sure if the pitas are made in house, but they taste like it. Would definitely recommend and return!

Has all the feel of Greek resturant. Great food and drink choices including strange variations on American classics. Free humus as you arrive with glass of bad tap water. Friendly service. Good food and fair prices. Good Greek salad and fine plate of chicken or gyro meat. Worth a visit and would go again. Service a little Greek if you know what I mean

Theodore Luff, who fell in love with the breezy charm of the Florida Keys during a visit in the 1920s. He built a bungalow inspired by the island spirit with limestone porches & a chimney right off East Palmetto Park Road. That is the bungalow we visited today! Before becoming a seafood restaurant, this was the 1st home of the Boca Raton Historical Society. There were many other businesses here & eventually was going to be demolished. Arturo Gismondi a restauranteur known for La Nouvelle Maison, Trattoria Romana & the Biergarten stepped up. Luff's Fish House opened in 2017 after a tremendous renovation, with the original chimney windowpanes restored. We left the car with the complimentary valet and were seated on the large patio. There was a cool breeze under the oversized umbrellas. We started with margaritas that were delish and the perfect accompaniment to our $1 oysters. They served over ice & were large, juicy and very fresh. For dinner we shared the spring rolls and a lobster quesadilla appetizers, both were overflowing with lobster meat and fabulous. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal, , setting beautiful & we will be back!

After speaking with our lovely waitress, we ordered and the food was delivered in courses which was nice for a change. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared and delicious. Before I talk about the food I want to say that the young lady that was the bartender and server was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The restaurant is small, however it is beautiful inside and does offer outdoor seating as well. Now for the food. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.

We had such a great experience at Eddie V's in Boca!…read more We called the day of for a Saturday night reservation, and the hostess was incredibly polite and friendly, which made a great first impression. Our options were 5:00 or 8:45, so we took the 8:45 reservation. We arrived around 8:20 to see if they might be able to seat us a little earlier. We were greeted right away, told our table would be ready soon, and offered champagne while we waited. Such a nice touch! The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's dark, modern, upscale, and romantic, with a large bar and lounge featuring live jazz music, as well as a separate dining area. We ended up sitting in the lounge and loved the atmosphere. Our server, Adrianna, was extremely friendly and attentive. We started with drinks. We ordered the Private Plane, which comes with a cute little paper airplane and a large square ice cube, and a vodka martini. Both were excellent and strong, which I personally prefer! We decided to do several appetizers instead of entrées and ordered the lobster tacos, Wagyu dumplings, and burrata and tomato salad. Everything was excellent with great portions and tons of flavor. The lobster tacos were outstanding and probably my favorite lobster tacos I've ever had. Then came dessert. We couldn't decide between the Bananas Foster and the brownie with ice cream. Adrianna told us she had an idea and would take care of it. She came back with both desserts on the house! We were completely surprised. They were both so good that I honestly couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I'm glad we got to try both! The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was another nice touch. What really stood out was how special they made us feel. It was just an ordinary Saturday date night for us, but from the champagne when we arrived to the service and surprise desserts, they turned it into something memorable. Excellent food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. We will absolutely be back!

From the time you walk in until you leave, service is exceptional. From the greeters to the server, helpers, and even a manager, who stopped by our table. Now the food. The bread was crusty, yet soft and warm in the middle and was accompanied by a salty butter that made it addictive. We had the calamari appetizer. The presentation was very appealing. The sauce that came with it was very tasty, but it didn't help make the calamari stand out. It was average. For our main entrees, we ordered the ribeye and the scallops with side dishes of crab fried rice and asparagus. My husband loved his ribeye, even though I thought it was a bit salty. The scallops were done very nicely, but it definitely was too salty. I asked them to replace the polenta that came with the dish, and I got sauteed spinach instead. It was probably one of the best I have ever had. (Sometimes the small things can be impressive.) The crab fried rice is definitely made authentically, with no soy sauce. Again, I made a special request, "no scallions," and they obliged. Hubby really liked his asparagus. But it, too, was a tad salty. We splurged for dessert and shared a creme brulee. It was extremely rich and creamy and delicious. We received a $100 gift card in the mail from this particular location, which is what prompted us to try the restaurant. One appetizer, two entrees, two side dishes, and a dessert with tax and tip was $250. We had the $100 complimentary gift card from the restaurant; so, we spent $150 on dinner for two.
