    Meatball sub

I'm not from this area, but a friend recommended Napoli's Italian restaurant on McDermott Road. The website listed two locations and apparently the menu and prices are different. I had clicked the McDermott location, but was looking apparently at their other location. My friend had apparently found the online menu for McDermot and noticed there was no meatball sub. So I called and asked them if they had a meatball sub and how big were the meatballs. The person answered, said that they were very big and they could do a meatball sub, but didn't mention the price. When we arrived, we noticed the front of the restaurant said Nikki's Bistro, while the side referenced Napoli. We ordered a chicken Parmesan sub, a meatball sub, a kids' ravioli with Alfredo sauce, and an additional side of marinara. At this location, the subs were $15.95 each, the kids' meal was $8.95, and the additional marinara sauce was $4, big price difference between the two locations with the same exact food. I did speak with the manager regarding the price difference and he just explained it was two different locations. Unfortunately, once we got the food home, we were very disappointed. The meatballs were very small and, based on their appearance and texture, appeared to be store bought small frozen meatballs. The meatballs and sauce had no flavor. The kids' ravioli portion consisted of only two relatively small ravioli. The chicken Parmesan sub was also disappointing and did not meet our expectations for the price. The packaging was another issue. The subs were placed in silver trays with plastic lids, but they were not secured properly. The marinara sauce container had also apparently not been sealed correctly and had spilled. The Alfredo sauce from the ravioli had spilled as well. Overall, the meal did not live up to the expectations created by the restaurant's presentation as an authentic Italian establishment. For approximately $50, I expected significantly better quality, portions, and flavor. If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this restaurant is not it. Save your money. I looked up the restaurant on a business search. The owner is NASER NEZIRI, definitely not Italian.

Table decorations we brought with us.

Niki's was amazing and Arber took the best care of our group. I reserved the private room for my mom's Celebration of Life. Before the event, Arber made sure we had every thing we needed. As guests arrived, he offered them something to drink. Arber and his team made sure each guest was taken care of. The food was Amazing. We had mozzarella balls, cheese sticks, stuffed mushrooms, pizza, calamari, chicken wings, drinks from the bar. Each item prepared with upmost care. They were very accommodating. The service was perfect, the food amazing, the room was perfect for our group. The room is completely separate with a door dividing the space. They allowed us to bring in our own decorations, and they provided candles for each table. We had about 25 people but the room was big enough for more people. The also allowed us to bring in a speaker to talk about my mom. All said, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Nikis and Arber and his team and kitchen staff.

The food was amazingly good--one of the best italian places I've had in a while. Our service was subpar. We were a group of 5 people all around the age of 23-24, and it seemed like our server just assumed that made all his shortcomings okay because he tried to act kind of bro-like with us. There were multiple periods of time where we were left alone for anywhere from 10 minutes to 40. It took us a LONG time to get our food even though we were one of maybe 4 parties in the restaurant. One friend got told they were out of something, ordered something else, and the waiter went, "that's a joke, right?" and told him they were out of that too. His entree came out almost a full 30-40 minutes after the rest of ours so he just packed it up to-go. Only a halfhearted apology that everything was taking so long and no type of compensation. The food was good enough that I would go back to try again since partner and I live in the area. But i really hope we don't get this guy as our server again.

Spaghetti Bolognese, Spicy Chicken Sauté & a vegetarian platter. Had an Italian eaten the spaghetti bolognese, he would have jumped off a cliff. The meat chunks were big & there must have been a max of 2 tablespoons of meat in the whole dish. The spicy chicken sauté was tough & rubbery. Both the dishes were made from a can of tomato sauce. No flavor in any dish. The vegetarian platter had some frozen falafels that were deep fried & served with the same 2 dips & some rice. The cheekiest part was the waiter add a 20% gratuity to the bill. I would never go back or recommend anyone go there.

I particularly liked the bruschetta because it was quite different from a traditional bruschetta. It came with roasted cherry tomato and house-made ricotta on one, and roasted butternut squash, Brussels sprout leaves and crushed hazelnut on the other. I really enjoyed trying something a little different! The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was also really good, with Italian sausage, crispy pancetta, shaved garlic, basil and Grana Padano. Service overall was great. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we were happy with everything. The restaurant was buzzing when we visited for lunch on a Saturday, but there was still plenty of seating. It's nice and bright inside and located in a great area with plenty of parking. I'd definitely come back!

I've eaten at other locations a few times before and have been pretty satisfied, and their Legacy West spot is in a great location and looks great inside too. Aiden was our server and was pretty friendly and attentive. We were the first group in which probably helped too. We ordered some coffee and a nice spread of brunch plates and also the donuts on the side that were absolutely fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed my Americano breakfast plate with the grilled bread, and the very unique and delicious hash brown balls. We also had an avocado toast that was light and fresh and a pasta dish I can't remember the name of that was also great. Nothing really blew my mind but the food here is consistently great and I'll have to give some more dishes a shot. Overall, a really nice experience and the ambiance is great for any occasion. This location is nice as you have plenty of other shops to explore and a scenic strip to walk through.

I asked her a couple of questions about the menu and let know that we woiuld order when everyone else arrived. Bread and a garlic-olive oil sauce were brought out while we waited. I ordered the Bronzino, which is a European Sea-Bass. It comes with, pasta and a choice of House or Caesar Salad. I went with the House Salad and it was excellent. It was topped with fresh tomatoes, olives, onion, cucumber and a sweet, tangy vinaigrette. The bronzino can be seared, grilled, or baked; I chose grilled. It's served "floating" in a rich sauce with rice-shaped pasta and broccoli. The fish was flavorful, though a bit softer than I expect from grilled. I would've also prefered slightly less salt on the pasta, Overall I give Mangia's 4 stars for service, food, ambience, and decor. I'd definitly come back to try more of their many dishes.

We started with the focaccia bread (5/5). Wow--this might be some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dip was delicious. I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5.
