This is the best Indian food I've had in a while. I ordered it twice this week; the second time to make sure it wasn't a fluke. The first time I ordered on door dash it was here within minutes and the second time took a little longer both times my orders were piping hot, tasted extremely fresh, and were delicious. I have had the cheese naan (which will keep me coming back on its own); chicken curry and chicken vindaloo; and tandoori chicken. I would call the vindaloo mid-range spicy (my bf took over the less spicy of the dishes) and while I have a personal preference toward painful spicy it was just right. I'm not a connoisseuse, but both of my meals from this place have made me proud to live in Aurora and I already am planning on all of my friends I'm going to treat to cheese naan when quarantine is over. :) read more

Food is so not tasty here. They add cream to pretty much anything. We had onion bhaji ( it's not bhaji they're onion rings dipped in batter) bhartha, saag paneer ( it's not saag it's palak) & korma. I understand korma has cream. All 3 dishes were just made in cream no salt, pepper. Everything lacked flavored. Being Indian I know the flavors of these dishes and they weren't even close. Delicious new Indian Restaurant opened a month ago. I wish this place was closer to my house, but near my Mom's which is not too far away. They offer delivery which works out great for her. There was only one other table occupied at 6:00 PM on a Wednesday, but seeing the good Yelp reviews eased my worry. The food is really good here. I had the Lamb Korma spiced medium and it was truly tasty and no ghee floating around. My Mom ordered the Bharta Makhani (eggplant dish) which even though my Mom ordered mild had plenty of flavor and a great constancy. We also ordered the Taz Naan (which gives you a choice of three fillings) we did cheese, garlic, and lamb... again very good and not greasy. I also had a cup of hot chai tea which went well with the meal. All around great Indian food (I need to try the Nepalese someday) and where Indian Restaurants have been lacking in my neighborhood, this one will be worth the 15-20 min drive...and again I am jealous for my Mom who is within delivery area. Definitely check this place out! So much more for me to try on the menu....I went with my favorite of Lamb Korma and they did not disappoint. read more

Gross! Don't do it! Saag Paneer, Chicken Jalfrazie, and Mangi Lassi were all nasty! Bad karma here! You ask how why? Let me tell you. The SAAG PANEER looked and tasted like a half package of frozen spinach hand mixed with just a few cheese cubes. I'm used to this type of dish whipped and creamed to a smooth warm consistency with a lot of cheese cubes. Worst Saag Paneer ever! CHICKEN JALFRAZIE sauce actually had decent flavor. I ordered it medium spicy but it came mild. I was put off by the overuse of frozen mixed vegetables. Then I bit into the chicken...YUCK! The creepy soft and chewy texture didn't feel right which was visually confirmed when I saw the chicken was pink and not fully cooked! Since when are MANGO LASSI'S made with sour cream? Oh, that's not sour cream? Well you could of fooled me because this was the most sour lassi I've ever tasted. Couldn't even tell there was mango in there. This Lassi was clearly spoiled and could not be consumed after a few sips. I hate giving 1 stars reviews but when the food is inedible...... when the food is not fully prepared, raw, or spoiled... I have no choice. I hate that I felt bloated and sick to my stomach after eating this food. I hate spending more than $40 and getting ripped off. I'm sending bad karma from my aching sick gut to the reckless and indifferent owners who serve this as food. Shame on you. I hope your crap hole restaurant closes down! read more

We had a $30 Groupon for dinner. They were located on East Alameda Ave east of S Havana St in Aurora in the Highline Villages strip mall. The booth was very uncomfortable. The table was too far away and the person sitting behind me kept on leaning back and pushing me forward. The water was luke warm and tasted funny. The Mango Lassi was good and I would order it again. We started with the Coconut Shrimp with Korma Sauce appetizer. There were 3 battered shrimp covered with sauce. I didn't taste any coconut, but the sauce was tasty and I saved it for the naan. The Chicken Tikka Masala was average. It came in a pretty metal bowl. The basmati rice was garnished with 3 peas. The server said to let her know if we wanted more rice. The Garlic Naan was okay, a little flat. The food was solid. We would be interested in coming back for the lunch buffet if we were in the area. read more

We ordered delivery through Eat24. Our entire order was incorrect. Instead of garlic naan, we got whole wheat plain naan. Our onion kulcha was just missing. Chicken tikka masala was missing, replaced with another dish in a red sauce with a non-chicken mystery meat, carrots, and green beans. My saag paneer was replaced with saag with breaded fish. So, these things happen- but when we called and asked for a refund or a replacement, they insisted that they had checked with the driver and we "had everything." They offered a refund for only some of the dishes and did not offer the option of a re-delivery. Eat24 customer service was amazing and helped us talk to the restaurant, who ultimately authorized a $20 refund (which was not the amount of the full order). The food did not taste good, but, to be fair, these are not dishes that I ever would have selected. Disappointed in the food, even more disappointed in the service. read more

Good Indian food all around. We loved everything we ordered, from the naan to the main dishes. The palak paneer is great. Everything was served family style. They kept checking to see if we needed more rice. The bathrooms are clean. The only thing they could improve on is the dirty windows and overall dated look of this small restaurant. I can see why they had a constant stream of take-out orders but hardly anyone dining in. read more

I read many reviews saying food was hours late or never arrived so I was worried, ordered my food on a Wed night around 6...received it in 30 min so I guess I was one of the lucky ones! So now to the food...I got mine medium (spice level) & it was perfect to me but I do love very spicy food! Honestly everything was tasty & flavorful, not the best Indian food but still very good! EXCEPT the samosa's they were literally raw dough!! (See the pictures!!)Yes they were free, but I almost did pay for them til the coupon popped up! Maybe that's why my order was on time? (unlike other reviewers) They would have received a 4-star rating if all my food was actually cooked. But the delivery guy was nice & I did enjoy 99% of what I ordered! Would I order from here again? YES! But if I continue to get raw food, or late/no show as others have it will be my last! We did take out for the following: Lamb Tikka Masala, Tikka Jahangir, vegetable samosas and garlic naan. The Tikka Jahangir was about two times the size of the lamb tikka Masala. Both meals were buttery and had great flavor. The shining star though was the vegetable samosas. Highly recommend Taz for Indian takeout and hopefully soon we can eat in restaurant. Before I rant and rave about the food, I want to rant and rave about the staff! The staff is so genuinely friendly and beyond happy to tell you about the items on the menu. Exceptional service! Okay, I'm a little embarrassed how behind I am on trying Indian food, but in my defense - I am from Hawaii and never really remember any Indian restaurants growing up. So anyway, this was my first time eating real Indian food. So my fiancé and I came here pretty much clueless. Fiancé had some takeout that his friend got from this place a while back and he loved the food so much, but didn't know what he ate. We looked over the menu (which has so many choices btw) and eventually ended up asking our server if she could figure out what he ate based on a picture. She was so nice and so happy to help us - easily identified the food and then gave us lots of suggestions and descriptions of the food. We went with one of her recommendations and she definitely did not steer us wrong! Honestly I don't even know what we ended up getting for the entree, but we got coconut shrimp for the appetizer and we got butter naan bread with cheese (I think haha). The food was SO flavorful, so good, so rich. Thankfully we only ordered one entree because we were stuffed and couldn't even finish that one entree to split. We have leftovers that we will enjoy tomorrow! We are definitely big fans of this place, can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu! read more

I have never physically stepped into Taz Indian Restaurant, but I've eaten their food multiple times. I'm a busy student and sometimes just down right lazy so I take full advantage of the free delivery on Yelp! I always order the typical go-to Indian entrees: chicken tandoori and chicken tikka masala. Last night I decided to stray not too far from the usual and added chicken curry to my order. Here's what I have to say about the items I've had so far: - Tandoori chicken wings: good, smoky flavor and sits on a bed of stir fried veggies. I wish they added more flat wings though. My order last night consisted of all drummies. I'll try to ask for all flat wings next time I order. - chicken tikka masala: the flavor is better than a lot of Indian restaurants I've been to. It's nice and creamy with soft chicken. - chicken curry: ordered medium and dang! It has a good kick to it! I like my foods spicy and medium was at a good level where I can feel the burn but also enjoy my food at the same time. - garlic naan: buttery and garlicky.. and FRESH! - Roti- a healthier alternative to the naan because it's made from whole wheat flour. It's its not as buttery as the naan, but it's still good. - rice pudding: this item was free because we spent more than $30 on yelp delivery. I like that it's not too sweet. There's a hint of spiciness that I would have to get used to. It was good to try because it was free but I personally would not order it. Could be better. A lazy Monday night found us looking for some delivery and Thai always sounds good. Delivery took almost an hour, which wouldn't have been too much of a let down if our entrees had been better. The flavor was TOTALLY there; let me start with that. Unfortunately the sauce in our curries was the texture of a broth soup! All the goodies swimming in a delicious broth is NOT how a curry should be. Perhaps some extra time to reduce could bring a more appropriate texture to their curry dishes. The spring roll was absolutely bursting with flavor, wrapped tightly with all the good herbs one should find. Rice cooked well, but a small portion for curry. The first time I ate here, I thought I had died and gone to heaven - it is that good! This place is a hole in the wall but a diamond in the rough. It's quite small but I was very impressed! Our server was so much fun and very attentive without being overbearing. I asked for recommendations because I couldn't decide (there is A LOT to choose from). She told me her favorite is the Roghan Josh so that's what I ordered and man am I happy I did. The lamb was cooked just right and the spices were perfectly blended. We also got the tandoori chicken and the garlic naan both of which were heavenly as well. I have ordered delivery from them since and they were very prompt and everything we ordered was delightful as well. I will be back again and again to try everything on the menu.
