Grilled Chicken Gyro with Side of Basmati Rice
    Emma S.

This place has caught my eye because it's like the Panera of Mediterranean food. I had also received some coupons in the mail (and then completely forgot to use them - big sad). I got the grilled chicken gyro with basmati rice and it comes with chips. It was great, not the best I've ever had but I wasn't expecting that. It hit the craving and was a great size meal. I will definitely come back in the future.

Tazikis is one of my go to for a filling and healthy meal to quickly grab. They have plenty of parking and this location even has a drive thru. I've been to this location several times and the staff has always been so friendly. The food comes out pretty quickly. My go to order is a chicken gyro. The bright side of this location is the amount of chicken in each gyro- it's well packed. The downside of this location compared to others is they skimp out on the chips- it's an unsatisfying, barely a handful of chips compared to other locations in the area.

This restaurant t has been here for a long time and it never crossed my mind to check it out because I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants. But my Mr. and I wanted Greek/Mediterranean food. Since it's close to where we live, we decided to check them out. We went on a Saturday early evening and they were slammed. They were definitely keeping up. You walk up, order your meal (you can get it to go or dine in), they give you a number. When your food is ready, they bring it to you. They have everything on the menu for everyone. Including for vegetarians. From appetizers, salads, gyros, grilled meals, desserts, etc. Their wine and beer list is simple. You can order wine by the glass or bottle. Beers are served either on draft or bottle. We ordered: Hummus dip with soft pita chips Grilled salmon feast w/ red potatoes Chargrilled lamb with basmati rice Rhinegeist juicy truth Story point Pinot Noir Baklava They brought our hummus out first. Then the rest of our meals came out. To be honest, I was blown away with the quality and pricing of the food. My grilled salmon was so delicious, the red potatoes hit the spot , side salad was huge and the Greek dressing was not too tangy/well balanced. My Mr raves about his meal! He pretty much cleaned his plate. The restaurant is very clean and employees are friendly/attentive. Overall, it was a great experience and we are definitely coming back! I'm a fan.

Lamb Gyro & cucumber/ tomato salad

Finally tried Taziki's and this place did not disappoint. One of the workers suggested the lamb gyro and it was pretty tasty! The Taziki sauce was really good. I also got the cucumber/ tomato salad and that was delicious as well. The restaurant itself was clean and the workers were so pleasant. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait and our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. I will definitely be back.

I came here for lunch after shopping at the nearby trader Joe's. We wanted something light and healthy and my husband found this establishment. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff is friendly. I ordered their beef gyro sandwich and that was good, but nothing too amazing. I did wish it had some more taziki sauce because there was very little in my sandwich. What I really liked was the side potatoes. The potatoes were really good and perfectly seasoned. Overall it was a good experience. Looks like a lot of locals come by here, especially more of the elderly folks. Definitely a good place if you are looking for healthier options.

Let's get freaky Greeky at Taziki's!

This is yet another quintessential place that my lady and I had on our "We should try that place" list for a while now. So, per usual, we finally decided to do so, and we were truly impressed by the whole experience. Great food, excellent service, very friendly staff, and a laid back atmosphere. We stopped by on a Saturday evening. The air was ripe with the drool-inducing scent of grilled meat. It was a little busy but not terribly bad. The line for ordering moved pretty quickly. Their menu is loaded with great options, something for everyone from gyros to kababs to salads to hummus dips to baklava and beyond. They have smaller meal options as well as big feast platters. They also have a few beer and wine options, though I was a bit surprised by no Greek beverage choices. The place itself isn't necessarily huge but has lots of cozy seating. My lady and I decided to do it all; appetizer, feast main courses, adult libations, and dessert. We ordered hummus dip with soft pita chips, a grilled salmon feast with red potatoes (for my lady), a chargrilled lamb feast with basmati rice (for me), a 9 oz Storypoint pinot noir (my lady), a pint of Rhinegeist Juicy Truth (take a guess ), and a piece of baklava. We placed our order at the front counter with a very friendly employee. After we placed our order, we were given our drinks, and a number card to place at the edge of our table so they know where to bring it. I was honestly expecting it all to be brought out at once, but no, the hummus was brought out first, so we had ample time to enjoy it before the main courses, and enjoy it we certainly did. It had great flavor and hints of lemon. When our feasts came our, we were surprised by how big they were, especially for the price. Both came with a Greek salad too. Both the salmon and lamb were perfectly cooked. The size of the salmon my lady got would gave cost close to $25 at an upscale restaurant but was only $15.99 here. Every bite of it all was very delicious. And of course, the baklava was rich and decadent. We absolutely enjoyed it too. We were already talking about coming back before we even finished our meals, so it's safe to say we adamantly like the place. Great food, great service, great prices, great EVERYTHING! And being pretty close to where we live is definitely a bonus. We'll certainly be going back again for more.

While I was in town, I got this 3 different times. It's delicious!!! I loved the green dressing and the grilled chicken + chicken kebabs were so amazing. The meat was like melt in your mouth delicious. I love green food and think this was top notch!

Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.

We are in town visiting and we went there for a nice meat meal after several days of dairy on the road. There were 6 of us at the table with 2 children. If I lived in town I would not be going back. They had 1 waitress working the entire place. She was kind enough but all she did was make excuses. We sat down at 6:15 and we did not get our hummus appetizer, which apparently they ran out of soon after, until 7:15. When we arrived there was only 2 tables occupied so it was not bustling. I am not sure how or why it took so long to prepare Hummus but given the ingredients I could have scratch cooked our entire meals in a fraction of that time. Again, when we arrived there were 2 other tables of 2 and maybe 1-2 small orders picked up during out time there. During our visit they had several more groups come in, some served before us, some getting the constant refrain, "we are out of this." It seems like there was 1 chef in the kitchen preparing all the food on their own. It is also highly problematic that they had 2 small children sitting there for an hour with not even a little bread or anything. We had to push the waitress to get the hot dogs out so they would calm down. As for the food, most of it was OK. The ribeye was properly cooked. The braised short rib was tender with a little wine flavor. The kids hot dogs were hot dogs. The chicken schwarma was flavorful. The Israeli salad was what you would expect. The green beans were overcooked, unseasoned and tasted like nothing. The worst and most impressive thing was how they got the mashed potatoes to taste like they came from a powder out of a box. I don't often leave something completely uneaten but they were inedible. How you can serve a $50 steak with such artificial swill is beyond me. I get it, they are the only option. Fail!
