What we got was rubbery and almost looked like it wasn't cooked on the grill. We complained but they did nothing to earn our trust back. I'm visiting the Richmond area for a half marathon and was looking for a quick and healthy option after a long day of travel. After scrolling through Yelp for a while, I decided to give Taziki's a try. This location is easy to find, located within a strip mall, and has ample parking. The dining area has plenty of room and was clean during my visit The menu is pretty straightforward and offers a good variety of Mediterranean options. Although I love gyros, I wanted something lighter tonight, so I opted for the Grilled Chicken Feast with Greek salad and roasted red potatoes. The lady taking my order was very friendly and my food was ready within a matter of minutes. Since my hotel is nearby, I grabbed my food to go and it was still warm when I got to my room. You never know what to expect from a fast casual spot, but this place delivers on all of the flavor you would get from a sit down restaurant. The chicken was moist from whatever marinade they use and has bright notes of citrus and herbs. The potatoes were a standout as they packed just as much flavor as the chicken, I was super impressed! The tzatziki and Greek dressing were also very flavorful and bright. If this spot was by my house in Vegas, I'd be dining there at least once a week! Highly recommend giving it a try. read more

I frequently order from Taziki's and have always found their ingredients fresh and tastily prepared. HOWEVER, today I ordered salmon and it was "off." I don't know that it was old but it sure tasted bad, bad, bad, and was quickly tossed in the trash. Do better! read more

I ordered 4 lamb chop Caesar salads. I received 4 STEAK Caesar's. Lamb is unmistakable it can't be passed off as steak. I didn't receive the extra soft pita. I do believe that the food would have been tasty as the Caesar salad dressing was good. read more

The food is always great and made fresh. Our go-to for the family is the grilled chicken roll up and a lamb gyro. The side potatoes are so good but bummed they got rid of the side pasta salad. The wait can be a bit long here and it's definitely a little pricey but I think it's worth it. It can be a bit loud inside and there isn't much space for large groups. This was a pleasant surprise. I saw on Yelp that this restaurant serves lamb burgers. I love ground lamb and it's hard to find it in most restaurants even Greek fast casual restaurants. It was a half hour before closing so I was a little bit skeptical about how it would go. The young lady at the register was very pleasant and she took my order and she recommended the oven baked potatoes to go with the burger. The burger turned out to be excellent. The potatoes were above average. The order came with two large patties. The toppings were different: tzatziki sauce and red bell peppers. The bun was also quite good. This was our first visit to this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and took our order walking us through our counter order with any menu questions . My first time dining in this location for dinner (Thursday night) with a friend and we enjoyed our food and experience. We actually ate on the patio. All of the staff I saw cooking and being out orders were masked, although masks aren't required for vaccinated patrons. Having a healthy quick food option is amazing. We're both dieting/eating better at the moment and it was so refreshing to have extensive options that weren't just salads. I also appreciated their nutrition calculator because MyFitnessPal is life right now. I am a hugeeee gyro fanatic and I didn't leave disappointed. Delicious and wonderful service!!! I had their catered food first and was intrigued. I have gotten their takeout a few times and dined in this time. The place was very clean and staff was continually walking the dining room checking on customers and cleaning. The food is fresh and delicious! I usually get the chicken sandwich or Greek salad when it's just me. The chicken is always well seasoned and the Taziki dip goes well with anything. I also highly recommend their Dinner for 4. It's an awesome value and great dinner that you can either eat with 3 other people or not ;) If you do the dinner, get the chicken, potatoes and soft pita options. Tazikis! Where have you been all my life? I've lived next door to you for almost two years and I just now walked my butt inside. Well I'm glad I did. You sure know how to make a delicious lamb gyro not to mention a basil wrap! When I first walked in I loved how all my fellow locals were in there throwing back cold ones. I was like, oh, Tazikis has it good like that? You guys bring the food out to us which is a nice touch. I've had a plenty of lambs gyros and yours ranks right at the top of the list. Your only competition I've had was that Greek place in Mechanicsville. But who cares! Mechanicsville is too far away and that town is only good for... anyway. Getting back to the review, the service was good in spite of a little inter-office drama, so I appreciate that. What else is there to say? Food came out very quick. I ordered the Grilled Salmon dish that had rice and a salad with a side of the lamb chops. I ordered a "mediterranean" salad and it was just okay. I didn't really like the combination of ingredients and it was missing olives. The crispy peta bread was too hard and had too much seasoning. The side of cucumber tomato salad was a bit soggy too. I couldn't really enjoy it. The atmosphere seemed really nice but my food items could've been better. I really wanted to like this place more. Seems like a lot of these fast-casual Mediterranean spots are popping up lately. Kind of like the glory days of Quiznos, Jimmy Johns, and Firehouse subs after people grew tired of Subway. I came in with my son one Monday evening. We ordered the hummus/pita app, I ordered the lamb bowl and he got the chicken kebob. I also ordered a glass of wine. Only Sutter Homes. Sigh. When are businesses going to learn there are a lot better value wines out there than the house brand at 7-11! They served it warm, overly-oxidized, and served in a water cup. Major fail. The food was fine. Nothing particularly fresh. We also ordered a couple slices of baklava. It was stale. And sitting. There were no trash cans around so it wasn't clear if we're supposed to bus our own tables or what. None of the tables were wiped down either, seems like the place runs itself. I think when these kind of places franchise out, they have to be real careful with management because it doesn't seem a lot of care and upkeep is going on here.
