Love the farmhouse. Have visited twice. Split the avocado toast and breakfast sandwich with my cousin on first visit. Both excellent. Table service was attentive. Second visit I tried the mushroom toast and it was not my cup of tea, sadly. There was no cauliflower added as described either and bread was a little soggy from mushrooms. I am was excited to try this place for brunch due to raving reviews and posts on instagram. Sadly, it was nothing as expected. Wait was quoted as 30 mins, but took us hour and 15 to be seated. Server was inattentive. Latte was missing the flavor requested. Hot chocolate was watery and unsweetened. One of the highly recommended entrees on the menu, the sweet potato rosti was hardly enough portion to be considered a side let alone an entree. The side of potato's were mostly raw and didn't even have salt. It's hard to mess up a cheese burger, but when you're against basic seasoning and flavor anything is possible. Highly disappointed with the service and food. Most importantly there was an old white lady who seemed to be the manager or owner or someone who was extremely unwelcoming. Her entire demeanor towards us made us feel uncomfortable the entire time. It was a dismal experience. This place is adorable on the inside and the food is great. Coffees are also delicious. My only issue is the service isn't great yet - they need to work on greeting tables faster. Waiting 5-10 minutes for a server to acknowledge the table is not good, especially when they aren't busy. Otherwise, overall a great little spot! read more

We've now been to Tbb 122 3 times for brunch/lunch and 3 times for dinner and it gets better every time. We had a perfect dinner there last night. The menu has changed a bit since last time we were there and every thing we had was fantastic. We love the atmosphere, the service is always friendly and professional, the cooking inventive and like no other place in Alpharetta or Atlanta for that matter. The cobia crudo is one of the best and definitely most interesting dishes I've ever had, I order it every time I'm there. Last night we had the honey nut squash to start and I only had a bite or two before my husband inhaled it. We shared the duck for an entree and it was next level. The wine list is short and sweet, unfortunately they no longer have the Sokol Blosser Pinot but they still have some interesting bottles. The budino for dessert is a must. All around Tbb is one of two of our favorite spots. read more

Dinner differs from breakfast and lunch! A few months ago we had then roasted chicken dinner with a squash puree underlayment and it was one of the best dishes I have eaten in a long time!!! We went back recently and that dinner menu changed so the roasted chicken was now on black eyed peas and totally different like a 1/4 chicken instead of the bread the first time there. Sadly it was not very good sorry! The rest of the menu is a lot of foo-foo stuff that the average Joe wouldn't eat, sadly there is a burger on the menu for those who don't like the foo-foo....ownership there should consider having regular food and the foo-foo stuff also. The atmosphere and food were great! The service though ruined it. We waited 25 minutes before the server came over, which we had to ask the hostess if someone could get our order. Then once we ordered drinks it took another 20 minutes to get. This was a Friday night with maybe 10 tables at the time. I just want to say,Ive been to TBB several times and really like it but this last time i went it was an awful experience. I was bringing friends,they had never been,to celebrate a birthday. I made a reservation for 10am and specified it was a birthday on the reservation. We ended up waiting a half hour past our reservation time for our table. what made that extra hard was we had a baby with us. Our waitress was being trained and had a girl helping her. The girl helping had a bit of an attitude with us. When we ordered one of my friends,the birthday girl, ordered gluten free bread and you were out. maybe because we waited so long for our table that we had a reservation for. Then the trainer brought one bill then asked if we wanted it divided? Nothing for the birthday celebration and not any kind of compensation for waiting so long for table. I have been wanting to go here for quite awhile. I secured a reservation for 10:30 on Sunday for myself and my husband. We were seated pretty quickly after we arrived. I ordered the vanilla and cardamom latte which was delicious. Hubby ordered a spicy Bloody Mary which was light and perfectly spiced. Good start. We placed our order then we waited and waited. The kitchen was clearly behind almost 1/2 hour before the food appeared. I ordered the scramble bowl. The butternut squash purée was excellent. Portion size was small. Eggs were bland. I mean no seasoning at all. It also came with toasted bread. That was toasted so much that it was very hard. My husband got the pressed pork sandwich. The pork belly was a little crisped and he really liked it. He is a dip guy so a side of sauce would have been great. Overall good but kinda expensive and way to long on the food prep. The first thing that draws your attention is the ambience of this place- beautifully designed and thoughtfully executed. It doesn't give too much, it's just the perfect amount of warm, earthy and minimalistic. Upon walking in you are greeted with every delicious baked dessert you could possibly want (plenty of gluten free options too!), right alongside a healthy espresso drinks menu. The staff have always been accommodating and friendly. I've been 4 or 5 times and the best thing I've eaten is the mushroom toast with an egg. It's really delicious. So let me start with the good. The pastries are good! I thought he at first that it was great bc when I ordered the cookies just came out of the oven. Like omg that shortbread was *chef's kiss*. When it cooled down wasn't as great but still really good! Still not as good as Little Tart Bakeshop tho. Coffee was just ok. The interior, gorgeous!! Loved the monotone, clean, expensive yet somehow homey look. That's 5 stars! Now on to the meat of the experience. It wasn't good! It was very expensive but the food was ok and and the service was bad (except for the lady at the cafe!! I think her name's Irene. She was great!) I walked in around 1:55pm and the place was not busy at all. There were 3 people sitting on the bench/couch, 1 lady at the communal table, and 2 tables occupied. There was nobody at the host stand. The girl standing by the kitchen window stared straight at me but didn't come up to greet me or to ask if I'm dining in or just going to the cafe. I was just standing there no one was approaching me but there were a lot of servers at the cafe bar folding napkins and chatting. They couldn't be bothered! I turned around and asked the girl at the cafe if I should wait for the hostess or if I should just order with her and sit anywhere. She said if I want lunch wait for the hostess. So I said I want a table and will grab lunch. She called the lady by the kitchen window, and apparently she was the manager for the breakfast/lunch shift. She didn't say hi she right away asked if I wanted a table or if I just wanted to sit at the communal table. I said I wanted a table and the lunch menu. (This was already about almost 10mins since I walked in. So maybe around 2:05 ish). This is how it went down: Manager: HONEY, lunch is over! We can't serve you that now it ended at 2pm!" Me: I thought lunch is until 2:30. Manager: NOPE Me: well your website says 2:30 so y'all need to update that Manager: *looks at the cafe girl confused* is it til 2:30? *looks back at me* yeah NO it ends at 2. I can't even find the lunch menu so I don't know what we can serve you Cafe girl: *hands manager the lunch menu* Manager: *looks exasperated* well I can ask the kitchen if they're still ok to do the lunch menu, they're already cleaning up. *raised the menu up to my face* so do you know what you want?! And where do you want to sit?! I wanted to just walk out but I was starving! That was supposed to be my first meal. I said never mind I'll order at the cafe. I got the mixed mushroom toast with egg (it was just ok) and hot tea. I spent about $25 with tip. The cookies were not included yet. The interior is really gorgeous and the pastries/cookies were not bad. The service really sucked tho! It's such a tired excuse to say that they just opened and still working out kinks. I'm not sure I've ever had to walk out of a restaurant before today. After we were seated, we waited about 10 minutes for a server to come before we finally decided to flag someone down. No apology was given when our server did finally come over to check on us. I told them that I have a gluten allergy and asked for recommendations. Two different servers told me to get the farro bowl. I told them that farro is wheat and not gluten free. Still, our server insisted that it was GF. I had to do a google search on my phone and show her to try to get her to believe me. She then said with an attitude that she would check with the chef. She came back with no apology and said that *their* farro wasn't gluten free (none is!!) and then she said, with a very upbeat tone, that I could order any of the sandwiches just without bread. Wow. Sorry, but that's not a great option. In this day and age when gluten allergies are so common, a nicer restaurant like this should not only have decent GF options, but it should also be labeled on the menu. Allergies are too serious of an issue to leave it up to untrained staff to tell customers what we can and cannot eat safely. Needless to say, I did not want a sandwich without bread, and they lost all my trust anyway. To have two servers suggest that I order farro wheat is inexcusable. So we left the restaurant very unhappy. read more

We've been very disappointed with TBB 122. We've been there twice, for breakfast. On both occasions the wait-staff was very inattentive, even though the restaurant only had approx 3-5 other (small) groups. Members of the wait-staff were just chatting with one another and we could not get their attention. On today's visit, it took a very long time for the food to arrive (it was only slightly better last time). The food: the "Fat French Toast" was actually too "fat" - the inside was dry, it was not tasty at all, the outsides weren't "done", and it was cool when served. Also, it doesn't come with syrup - you have to request it, and they charge for it although they didn't tell us there was a charge for it, then by the time they brought it, the food was even colder. The syrup was the best part of the meal. My dining partner had eggs/toast/potatoes/bacon. The potatoes were good. He had to request salt/pepper which took a while to arrive (again, there were very few diners, so it's not like it was busy). The sourdough bread with his meal was the best part; they source it from Theo's Brothers Bakery. Also, for today's visit, they sat us right next to another table, even though there were lots of open tables where it would not have been so noisy! The acoustics in the area were terrible. I doubt we will go back. Although we will go to Theo's Brothers Bakery to get some bread! read more

So we went for Brunch and ordered their egg special with our eggs cooked over easy. Being a bakery, we asked what toast options were available with our breakfast, the answer none. Then, we requested to swap potatoes with grits and were advised that no substitutions were aloud. So, a breakfast shop/bakery that doesn't serve toast with your eggs and the chef cannot scoup grits over potatoes, doesn't get my best ratings. The food was ok, not great. We visited at 8:30am on a thursday and waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. There were maybe 5 tables occupied. We finally flagged down a server and placed our order. After waiting another 30 minutes, we received our food and never saw the server again. We had to flag down the server again for our check and received attitude. It was just too much for what should have been a relaxing week day breakfast. We ordered avocado toast, mushroom toast and a side of potatoes. $14 for literally one slice of toast with mashed up avocados. $16 for one slice of toast topped with overly salted sautéed mushrooms and a fried egg. We ended up placing the mushrooms on top of the avocado toast to balance out the too salty mushrooms with the under seasoned mashed avocados. I wish I would have taken a picture because once combined, I looked at the single slice of avocado, mushroom toast on my plate and thought to myself "wow, $30 for this" and it wasn't even that good! My recommendation is to skip TBB despite the beautiful decor. There are far better options in the area read more
