I'm nervous about posting 5 stars, because I know that in time, if others do the same, that we won't be able to get within a mile of this restaurant on a weekend. Overall a positive experience. Amazing design, a good menu, polite server, ability to make reservations, and amazing coffee menu. The biggest downside is ALL of the food is underseasoned. Apparently I'm not the only who thought this as other reviews mention as well. No joke, we needed salt and pepper so we asked for a shaker. They had to find one, then took it back after 5 minutes because another table needed it. The scone was the driest I've ever had in my life. Stopped here for Sunday brunch around 10am, the parking is small but was able to park. We were welcomed and seated right away. I enjoy Theo's bakery so I decided to give their new place a try. The place has a nice decor and seatings indoor & outdoor We ordered matcha lattes which was okay no flavour and didn't come with sweeteners/sugar we had to ask for some. For food I ordered shakshuka and sadly it wasn't good at all, it's basically just very soupy tomato with some eggs inside and feta cheese, the taste was off and not the authentic Shakshuka taste. Don't recommend it. The prices are quite high for the quality you get. The staff were nice and helpful tho, but I will not return for food. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for some pastries and drinks. The seating area was very busy but the line for the drinks and pastries was not. Despite not being too busy, we waited over 30 minutes just to order. I think they might not have a good system here. There were multiple people in the cafe area but no one taking orders. When it was finally my turn to order the guy working the register was very slow and made me repeat eveything three times. He even tried to charge me for a whole instead of a slice lol. We ordered the matcha lattes with vanilla syrup. Chai cake and a chocolate cake. The matcha lattes we got honestly weren't the best, it tasted like milk and the hot one tasted more like chai than matcha. The chai cake we got was tasty but after two bites we noticed a grey hair baked into it unfortunately. We were so sad because we wanted to enjoy the cake very much. Brought it back inside and had to wait another 20 or so minutes for them to figure out how to give us a refund on the cake. Wish they offered us something for the inconvenience and disappointment. I honestly couldn't even eat the chocolate cake after because I was kinda disgusted thinking about almost eating hair. This place honestly has a nice ambiance and pretty decor. We also sat outside cause the inside was packed and so was the bar. None of their heaters outside worked in 40 degree weather lol. Wish I had a better review for this place. Service was a 3/10. I only tried the TBB breakfast which I didn't really enjoy but it looked atheistically pleasing. The mimosa was 95% champagne and 5% OJ, which I loved lol. 11:30 reservations and seated promptly. 5 min to get water order drinks, 2 Bloody Mary's! Advertised as Bloody Mary with seasonal vegetables. Well it must be out of season because we got three olives and a stalk of celery in a small glass $15each. Food was slow to come out, quiche was room temp, bacon and eggs were under seasoned and small portions. Asked for salt and pepper which took awhile and three pepper mills in a row were empty. Banana bread had good flavor but dry, not moist. $80 for two , way overrated and not worth going back. Pretty loud as well. read more

First off.. the food was amazingly delicious.. From the Mezze appetizer to everyones entrees, all was tasty and well prepared.. But that is not enough. Keep in mind, the owners currently have 5 successful restaurants and (Pure, Union, Vinny's, 7 Acres and Made).. and have owned many others in the past.. So these people are not new to the restaurant business. I really don't get what the issue is. The service was horrendous... We had 7:30 reservations and were a party of 6. We were seated at a very uncomfortable communal table with park bench seating.. (no chairs or backs). I could sit here for an hour writing about the long wait for drinks (half hour), the arrogance of the manager, the many menu items that they were out of and how some entrees came out before the appetizer, but I think you get the idea. We finally finished our dinner at 9:45 and were not even offered dessert by the waitress.. Of course they were ready to close and that would have taken another hour. So unfortunately good food doesn't always cut it.. If they don't get their act together this restaurant will not be around for long. read more

Such a tough review to come on here and write, because TBB 122 is the place I want to LOVE so badly!! The quality of their pastries is amazing, much like their original location in Crabapple. The ambiance is also quite beautiful and totally aesthetically pleasing. An influencer's dream! My family has been visiting TBB's original Crabapple location for years, and I have supported TBB at the Farmer's market for years as well. We were so excited when the Alpharetta location finally opened, and have continued to frequent it since then. Sadly, I almost always find myself so disappointed... yet I return for the pastries! (There really isn't an equally matched place to get such amazing pastries in Alpharetta!) Anyways, I have come on here and started to write reviews multiple times over the years and always stop myself from posting, because like I said, I want to love it here. Unfortunately I think a lot of the other reviews, equaling a 3-star rating are pretty justified. The service is absolutely horrible. They don't only make you feel incredibly unwelcome and unwanted, they also create an awfully awkward experience from the minute you walk inside to the crowded entrance. Like I said, I have continued to support TBB 122 over the years despite my disappointment with the service at this location, hoping each time I visit I will see some improvements, but I'm about done. Every time I'm in there, I witness confusion at the entrance. The hostess is usually never there. I've walked in before when the hostess has been there, visibly sees multiple groups crowding in unaware of where the hostess stand vs. coffee/pastry counters differ, and the hostess literally walks away. You would think, oh maybe she's going to look for open tables? No. I've stood there in crowds of confused people for minutes, everyone awkwardly looking around like, ok, we want to be here, this is a beautiful place, but what are we doing standing here?! Where do we go?! This doesn't just happen with the hostess stand, the coffee/pastry counter is even worse. This morning I walked in, and I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the young woman behind the coffee counter. I told her I was just grabbing a pastry, so I went straight to the counter to order. There were THREE employees aside from the barista behind the pastry counter. Not ONE of them looked up at me. I stood there awkwardly smiling, trying to make eye-contact with one of them. I recognized the woman who is almost always behind the pastry counter. She didn't look up at me once. She was in the middle of organizing a stack of ribbon and pastry boxes, a project that looked important for another time... why are you choosing the morning rush to work through your project at the counter? I understand multi-tasking, but when a customer comes in, you can at least look up and acknowledge them! Even just a "I'll be right with you!" but no, I got nothing. I literally just stood there, people started lining up behind me, at this point the hostess was (LOL) no where to be found, and after several incredibly awkward minutes the young barista finally said to me "have you been helped?!" NO! And you know that! I've been standing in front of you for 5 minutes! It was painfully awkward. I was pleasant with her, she checked me out for my croissant and I left on my way. None of the other three employees behind the pastry counter once looked up, and the hostess was still gone when I walked out. I just feel like enough is enough, so I decided now is the time to come on here and share this in HOPES that someone from management sees and makes changes. PLEASE! Train your staff! Don't you want customers to leave you 5 star reviews?! I LOVE TBB 122, but this experience has happened to me so many times and so for now I am done. I'll try back again in a couple months, but I can't keep supporting a business where the employees don't even acknowledge their customers upon entering the building. It's. not. that. hard. Very strange experience overall. Staff seemed disorganized and were all short, coffee was okay and the $20 pastry board I bought was dry and in my opinion flavorless. Warm Waves which is a short maybe two minute drive is better for coffee in every way and has a similar ambience, with much better food and a much more alive environment. Though really delayed service - and I didn't overhead anyone saying " happy Mother's Day " to any guest - even those with children! So, why am I disappointed ? Took 15 min to get a latte - after asking about its whereabouts I was told " you are in line" ... so I asked for a coffee just to tide me over , it came with no cream - so I asked may I have some cream .... 5 min later cream was brought along with a " hope this lightens the mood" Humm... lots of wait staff all looking lovely in their mellow appealing outfits ... Here comes the burnt quiche and cold French toast with soggy bacon . Honestly I didn't want to complain incase I received another " scorned remark" I visit many coffee / breakfast places in my travels and it is hard in my home town to bring a brutal review ... You know what would help? If each server had an ipad mini and put in your order right on the spot. That way, orders don't get missed. But does management have the balls to implement this? At first it was a little hard to find because they didn't have a sign out yet but once I arrived I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. They have a small bakery right up in the front when you walk in and a nice open patio. Fresh baked pastries and goods to really tempt your sweet tooth! They have some bar seating, a waiting/community area for seating where you can just relax and grab a coffee and baked good. Dining is limited but the atmosphere is very intimate. Very rustic but also Grecian style with the decor and walls. Open kitchen so you can see all the hard work from the team. I sat at a cute two top by the window where there was plenty of natural lighting. I also found that they have their very own garden where they grow fresh herbs and vegetables used in their dishes! I thought that was super cool! I ordered the pork sandwich and my GOODNESS, my first bite was delicious. Juicy, tender and flavorful with the homemade ciabatta. Side note this place is a spin off from the original Theo brothers bakery and this new place offers breakfast/brunch food. The coffee tasted fresh and Michelle the master baker walked around with a tray of baked goods that I could not resist. So Yes I also ordered what is called morning bread. Essentially a cinnamon roll made croissant take. SAY WHAT? The combination was unreal. Flaky outside, soft and sweet inside with cinnamon flavors. The side of fruit was even good, pomegranate and fresh plums. Dude the slices of plums were so juicy and sweet. Best side of fruit option I've ever had. The only reason why I didn't give this place a 5 star is that the service was a little slow and given that it's a new place the servers didn't seem super knowledgeable. Six of us went here for lunch on Wednesday. It's a really nice building. Very Scandinavian like in decor. I did not expect to like the food as much as I did based on the menu selection. I ended up having the pulled pork sandwich. It was excellent. Not your normal pulled pork sandwich that has barbecue sauce all over it. This is more natural, which really shows off how good pork can taste all by itself. One of the members of the party is gluten free. Watching him order food is like watching a rockstar order a bowl of M&M's with the green ones picked out. The waitress did a great job of answering all his questions. The quality, and the taste of this food is absolutely outstanding. Everybody raved about what they got. After eating the sandwich, I did not think I would be hungry enough to eat a dessert at lunch, which I never do. But I went ahead and got the buottini, and let me tell you it was one of the best desserts. I've eaten in the last six months. It was that good. They also have a bakery here that looked outstanding. If you're in Alpharetta, and you enjoy food that's a little different than everybody else, you have to give this place a try. read more

Walked over here for a quick bite after the Saturday Farmers Market. There was no wait. We had plans to sit inside but my friend felt unexpectedly dizzy so they *very kindly* accommodated us by letting her sit outside in the fresh air and sent a server over. The service was great and we really appreciated that. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and I could not get enough. We had the TBB breakfast (potatoes, eggs, and avocado, bacon) shakshuka, and also the French toast. The French toast was like a dreamy dessert and I enjoyed the TBB classic breakfast. The Shakshuka was something we hadn't heard of before but still enjoyed. Not a bite was a left. We would definitely recommend visiting. I hear the owners are lovely read more

TBB 122 is my jam! Absolutely beautiful inside and outside. The staff is very nice and helpful. Did I mention the food? My lunch consisted of a grilled chicken sandwich on fresh focaccia. Amazing! A small salad on the side. I don't know what the salad dressing was but it was delicious! My daughter had mushroom toast. It looked great and she ate it in no time. I like the new place incorporating Theo's Brother's Bakery. They have baked goods too. Always good pastries! Give it a try. It's kinda pricey but what isn't pricey in Alpharetta'. Went for brunch and we were seated in a decent amount of time for how busy they were. Coffee was good, so waiting for food wasn't too bad...but it took forever. They must have been short staffed because they had dirty tables, people waiting, and servers unsure of their sections. Got the quiche of the day and the pastries look great. It is pricey and even a to go coffee takes forever. I may go back again for the food, if I have plenty of time and I'm not already hungry. For now, I just stop by for coffee and a pastry. read more

This place is hidden in downtown Alpharetta and is ADORABLE! Full bar and bakery. Lots of options for outdoor seating as well. This is a great brunch and lunch spot. My hairdresser recommended TBB so of course I had to visit. I ordered a cappuccino and the salmon mezzi breakfast (poached egg on top of salmon with pickled onions). I couldn't leave without taking some pastries home. They were lovely. The ambience was my cup of tea. Exposed wood, white, light and airy. It was too cold to sit outside but I plan on going back to seat under the tree in the rear of the restaurant. I can't wait to more pastry. read more
