I go outside the vehicle and I can see the roof trim completely missing on the passenger side, and the windshield cowel is so damaged the almost the entire bottom is exposed! Now ANY WATER that gets on the windshield is going to pour right into the firewall and flood my interior! I can't even operate the radio properly because the entire center of the screen wont detect any touch! How did this pass inspection!? I paid $23,000 for THIS!? DO NOT take these people at their word. Inspect THROUGHLY. Avoid the place all together, honestly

Oakland Lexus has went through many new faces in the last 2 decades with some changes that were positive ( IE new showroom, update service technology ) while some changes were unfortunately negative. ( IE many new service advisors) However there has always been one constant with Oakland Lexus and that is they always had strong leadership. Their new GM,Roubie Allison is another shining star and will be the main reason why I will continue to go to Oakland Lexus. Roubie is one of the coolest and most well likable guy you will ever meet. I had a few interactions with Roubie and each time , I felt valued and respected! Roubie understand business relationship, has a good heart and I know my next Lexus will be purchased from only Roubie including my future service needs. People will buy from people they know, like and trust and Rouble is that guy you will like and trust! Homework It appears the team associated with the service department is engaged in unscrupulous business practices. After being too busy to accept or respond to their calls and texts half a dozen times over a period of a month this past December. The team finally got a hold of me and indicated that my AudiCare had one oil service left in my contract. I asked the call center/service advisor "Are you sure I have one left in my package", they insisted yes and there would be no cost to me so I booked an appointment. See attached text message as evidence of this. After showing up for the booked appointment at 8.00am, I was informed that there are no oil changes left on my AudiCare contract and an oil change and inspection would be $400. I am not so upset at the cost, but the fact that it was purely a LIE to get me in. The service writer, Jaime apologized and was sympathetic but said his hands were tied and inquired if I still want the service, naturally I declined. He was kind enough to give me the business card of the service manager...its all part of the show. I am more sorry than angry that this dealership/service center chooses to engage in business this way. I feel bad for the other customers that be lured in this way. This is very unfortunate, as the sales experience was excellent a few years back. Too bad these guys ruined it...go anywhere else and pay a little more!

Over the past few months, my son and I searched for affordable used cars, test-drove cars, shopped around for a good trade-in price for the minivan, and even posted the minivan on Marketplace. Yesterday, as I drove off the High Street bridge and returned home to Alameda, instead of turning left, I drove straight to Diamond Auto's lot. I recognized my son's dream car by the enormous spoiler on the back. I took it for a test drive. I sat with Alex to discuss the price. Today, my son and I test drove the car. We sat with Alex to discuss the price and the warranty (3-months, which isn't much, but it's 3-months longer than any other warranty we were offered). We came to an agreement. I gave Alex the keys to my beloved minivan (which is now for sale, by the way), a lump sum on my credit card, and drove away in a sporty sedan. It wasn't just that we found the right car at the right price today. We found the right salesperson. Alex is supporting the local community as well as his own family. He negotiates directly and clearly. He speaks respectfully to middle-aged women and teenage kids. No gimmicks. No pressure. No confusing equations. Tell him what you need, and he'll tell you what he needs. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, no pressure. I enjoyed doing business with him.
