The credit reporting agency they use had me complete multiple forms trying to get this off of my credit report. It's pretty nasty business that you would promise someone that you're not going to run their credit and that they only thing that they're going to do is confirm your identity. The Ford Store lied to me. I would love to update my review and say that they did anything to try to remedy the situation, but they didn't. I called them a week ago and was promised a call back. I called them a month ago and was promised a call back. I called them today and was promised a call back. They even recognize who I am when I call. If I could give you zero stars, I would. This is not cool. After months and months of the runaround with the credit reporting agency, I finally got an email response today. They said that the Ford store had me sign a form, and therefore the pulling of my credit was perfectly acceptable. Well, I can promise you when they had me sign that form. They promised me that they would not pull my credit. Super unhappy with you. Do not recommend. 0/0

Within the week I had to take the car in to the shop for rattling when the AC was on. Turns out something was installed backwards. Within the second week the Apple Car Play started failing. I took it to the dealership, one of the gentleman came out and did a quick troubleshooting (deleted devices and added back). Fast forward to March 2026, Car play has FAILED. I take the vehicle for an oil change and find that the engine is failing, including an engine oil leak, coolant system failing. While trying to establish the validity of the warranty and find a good shop for the repairs the car has shut off in traffic twice, continues to run hot and the breaks are going out already. I have spent $600 on a rental car. I have reached out to San Leandro several times and spoke with Boris. The last of which he offered a discount on the rental which still totaled $600 for how long I will need the rental. I asked explicitly to speak with a Regional Manager about surrendering the vehicle and submitted an online complaint more than three weeks ago and no one is responding. I have also filed a complaint with BBB. And by the list of other complaints I'm not the first person sold a vehicle that they claim has been through a rigorous "certification" and inspection and the ENGINE is failing months later.

    I brought my Corvette C8 in for service after receiving a dashboard message indicating the…read moretransmission filter needed attention at just 19,300 miles. The service advisor recommended an internal transmission filter replacement for approximately $2,600 and advised that it needed to be done. Something didn't feel right about this insusual serive. while my car was being serviced, I contacted other Chevrolet dealerships. One told me that the internal transmission filter replacement wasn't due until well over 45,000 miles and that j should be getting just the external filter replaced. Another dealership quoted the same service for $1,972. To be fair, I believe the dealership performed the service they charged me for. My concern is whether the wrong service was recommended or whether I was sold a service that wasn't actually needed at this mileage. When I raised my concerns, I didn't feel the dealership took ownership or made much effort to resolve the situation. One example: after telling me the price was $2,300, the advisor said he'd "see what he could do" and returned with a new price of $2,298. The money isn't the issue. The issue is trust. I left feeling taken advantage of rather than valued as a customer. It's unfortunate because I had generally liked this dealership despite its higher prices. Unfortunately, this experience has cost them my future business for both service and vehicle purchases.
