Luckily we were helped by Tony who was friendly, smart and got us through the process as quickly and painlessly as possible. This guy is the real deal.

Signing up for DSL with AT&T was an absolute disaster. To make a long story short, I was told I…read morewould receive my service one day. It didn't happen. I called and was told I would receive my service on one of two days. It didn't happen. I called and asked what was going on. Their system was down, not a good sign for an ISP. I called again. No one could tell me why I hadn't received service or when I would receive service. After spending over 2 hours on hold with AT&T that week. I canceled my order. Then I came crawling back. They were the cheapest service by far, and I decided to just wait it out with a new Zen attitude. Of course their system couldn't handle me canceling and reordering, so that took some more time with their call centers. I had to order a different service because the service they originally sold me wasn't available where I live, an impressive lack of competence for a multi-billion dollar company. The service I ultimately bought is slower and costs more, but it still was the best deal. Once I got that order in, everything went fine. I guess the moral of this story is that you get what you pay for.

Called customer support and was told the only way to convert to postpaid was in store. So this time we called ahead to the Veterans store. They said it's possible. When we first got here, the place was very busy and we had to wait a while. That's not too big of a problem. They were nice about walk ins. When our turn came, we explained our situation and at first the person said they couldn't do it or didn't know how. At that point we literally were tempted to leave our carrier AT&T for good cuz of the discrepancy between what we were told in store versus customer support. But someone went back and asked and Ms. Carla Stamps came out and said she could help us. All of the issues were handled by her with no problem. She was generous and helpful and we are very thankful for the help. Someone should give her a raise because AT&T almost lost a customer if not for Carla.

They failed to tell me that they were replacing the screen with an aftermarket, non-Apple screen. They didn't explain that there was an option, any difference between the 2 products, what an official screen would cost - nothing. I got home and immediately noticed the colors looked off and did the research to understand what they had sold me. When I called they essentially said they "figured I'd want the cheaper option." It's clearly an inferior screen with noticeably worse lighting, everything is super bright and cool. To make matters worse, I then learned the Apple Store offers the screen replacement with an official screen for the same price they charged me for the 3rd party screen. I guess shame on me for not doing the research in advance, but maybe don't assume everyone knows what the hell an aftermarket screen is. Their response was essentially "sorry", and their corporate support was a notch above useless. Buyer beware.

I bought my phone there, and I thought they were giving me a good deal and helping me. The whole time they were scamming. My month was up yesterday, and I had attempted to pay online several days ago. They couldn't find my account by my email and asked for my pin (which I had not been asked to make in the first place). I called Customer Service yesterday, and spoke to someone whose second language is English and who went back and forth because she kept telling me a larger amount to pay. I spent over an hour on the phone with her and realized she was not going to help me. I waited for her to hang up so I could complete the survey at the end of the call, and she refused to hang up!!! After 20 minutes of keeping her line open, she somehow managed to disconnect the call without the survey. I tried the chat and after going back and forth with the chat bot, finally was able to chat with a person. They told me that there were 4 (FOUR!!!) other phone numbers on my account. I explained it is just me, and she said the system could not generate the proper amount for me to pay. She turned it over to another department who did actually call me back. They took off the other lines and I gave them my card number to pay the $40 and she said it went through. I thought I had gotten a confirmation because I received a text from them right away. I was so upset, I didn't read it...just thought "finally". My phone was turned off this morning!!! Now I am going through the whole process again! :( I called the number the last people called me from and cannot speak to a person. I cannot even find a place online to file a complaint. I am still looking and will not stop until I can tell as many people as possible that this store is dishonest and will take your money with a smile while stabbing you in the back and your bank account. I still cannot use my phone. UPDATE: It still took over an hour, but my phone is now working. Apparently they no longer have the $40 plan. And because my phone had been off due to non-payment, I had to choose another plan! The options were $50 for unlimited or $35 for limited data. Seriously?!?
