I initially went in for a front-end alignment and during the inspection Miguel showed me that my lower control arm bushings were showing signs of wear. At 168,000 miles, I didn't doubt this. Parts had to be ordered and my follow up appt. was the next week. During the replacement of the bushings, Jesus informed me that several fasteners on my suspension were loose, and a nut was missing from my leaf spring. Again, no surprise there as I replaced the entire suspension myself and did not torque any of the hardware. For a small fee, all fasteners were torqued to specs. Miguel also informed me that the squeaking I was hearing was from my aftermarket skid plates. I had thought it was something integral to the suspension, but am grateful for an honest assessment from Miguel. Overall, a great customer experience. No one tried to oversell me. Only what needed to be fixed was fixed, and everyone was super-friendly. For all your suspension, brake, and alignment needs, I highly recommend TCR II. read more

I was looking to install coil overs and other goodies on my 2001 Lexus GS430. I was greeted by Sam, who informed me of the specialty experience this shop has. Asking me questions about camber I did not even know were an option! Despite shipping delays (-1 star), I accepted his offer at the last minute before leaving town to install the bags. All I asked is that it be done right, which he genuinely promised it would be. Within a couple days, the passenger side bag lost all air. An inspection showed the air fitting at the top had a leak at the threads (-1 star) which is not easy to get to. Scheduled an appointment at 11 o'clock and then reschedule to one then I called if we can switch it to 11 and they said yes we can do that. All right at 11 and I checked in. At 11:30 the technician showed me the problem and then we decided to do the alignment only. It only takes 30 minutes so I should be ready by 12 but I wait until 2 o'clock. When I ask him why they said that from 12 to 1 there's a lunchtime, should I wait for that? Then they didn't like it because I wait for it they flagged my account and they say we don't want to do business with you anymore. Does that sound so professional? Tcr has been unwilling to pay for the repair which Dodge said that this part voided my warranty. They also broke parts on my truck due to the tech had no experience with a truck with airbags. They suggest I go after the Manufacture of the part as they take no responsibility for selling & installing the part. i went to this shop to get my differential fluid changed, why'll they were doing that they cut the wires on my wheel senser and wire crimped the wires back together i left the shop drove 10 miles check engine light comes on. went back they said its your tire senser. ok so i got my oil changed when i was there, they poured oil all over my motor and left it 2qourts low. and they also disconnected my power steering pressure hose. so had them do the tire Sencer check engine stay on went back they said its your tire bearing ok had them do that. but they never did it, and my rack and pinion stated making noises so i had them do that. which they messed up by disconnecting my pressure hose, this is a very dishonest shop, they got me for a tire senser, a wheel bearing, rack and pinion, a oil change and they stole my hitch lock in my glove department. be careful people this shop is very dishonest these mechanic are as dirty as they come they will try and scam you for all they can!!! read more

I have used TCR for all of my vehicles for a few years and have gotten good service up until the last few times that I was there to have specific maintenance done. I take meticulous care of my vehicles and am actively involved in rebuilding my power stroke. It seems each time I bring one of my vehicles in, I get it back with a list of things that they "Noticed" while test driving or "Observed" that needs attention. This last time the things mentioned on my power stroke were absolute BS, my truck needed the steering wheel straightened but other than that it drove smoothly and beautifully- I just had replaced mentioned problem parts with my brother who is employed in another capacity but has vast mechanical knowledge (but with very limited time which is WHY I was going to TCR) Sounds to me like they might be attempting to mislead customers into thinking they may need services, when in truth, they do not. It pays to not jump to conclusions that just because I am a woman, that I probably don't know any better- I am very particular about the service I am paying for- If I am going to pay 99.95 for an alignment I expect it to be done properly down to the detail of the steering wheel being perfectly straight- when I took my truck in to have an alignment at TCR I politely requested that they noted on the service instructions to please take an extra step at the end of the alignment process and take it out for a test drive a second time and fine tune the steering wheel position to insure the steering wheel was 100% STRAIGHT. Over the last 6 months I have completely replaced every component from the steering wheel to the front tires with new Motorcraft parts so I know everything is tight. Maybe the request for the additional step in the process wasn't well received by the technicians because when I got my truck back and got home I crawled underneath to look at everything I noticed one of the NEW boots on my BRAND NEW draglinks was split and exposing the greased innards of the ball joint- it appeared that it had been pinched and a small section of the boot was torn away. I had just been under my truck a few days before greasing my ball joints- as mentioned, I am very particular and observant about my truck- and if that new boot had been split, I would have seen it.....now a few days later after leaving TCR it is mysteriously split after the previous stock boots had remained intact for many years- Hmmmmm, seems a little "Fishy" to me. Am I saying that this was done on purpose, who knows- can't prove it- But when I called TCR to talk to Jyce or the manager about my issue I was repeatedly told that they were on the phone- that they were busy, that they would call me back....I chased them with phone calls for days and the return call didn't come until 2 days later after I made a pest of myself. The manager called back and after politely explaining my situation he completely refused to admit that this issue happened at TCR, even though the drag links and boots were brand new and had been intact only a few days before. It seems that the 5 star promise of good service and smiling faces ends when you walk out the door. If you have a problem and call to speak with someone they will duck and avoid your call if they think you are calling with a problem. Although I am a woman, I have a good grasp on the mechanics of my truck and do much of the maintenance myself. I know how things should work and I know how things should look when it comes to my truck, I am always inspecting my truck and take exceptional care of it....so when someone tells me something about the mechanics or operation of my truck I usually know what is fact and what is fiction. TCR has only 5 star ratings on their personal website because they are able to censor and control what reviews appear- they only leave the 5 star reviews visible- all others are removed, be aware of that. Most people do not have much knowledge about the mechanics of their vehicles, they take it to someone that they believe to be fair and honest to perform maintenance or repair. So just because TCR has an impressive location and everyone seems so nice and honest, do your homework and be aware. It has become my personal opinion that TCR might be misleading customers to believe that their vehicles need services that they do not....and although I am not sure, they could even go as far as damaging something and then denying fault.....sounds like that could insure a predictable stream of work for TCR from people that just don't know any better and are trusting that TCR is fair and honest. Jyze set an appointment for the following day. Brought it in with new tires, had alignment done. Jyze tried to charge me $150 because 'it was modified' but never told me in advance there was a different charge. He was a total a$$hole, changed the price to $99, and told me not to come back. I took my truck here because they had good reviews. I wanted an alignment then they said I needed a gear box. I took my truck back 3 days later and they said there was a mistake and part wasnt there. So now they had my truck for 5 days. When my truck was finally ready they charged me for stuff that i did not authorize. Then he argued with me about it, but gave me a discount how generous. Then they failed to tell me that there was in issue with my brakes after I almost lost control on freeway. When I got home the gearbox was leaking. SMH dont take your vehicle here. read more

Work not done correctly,when I contacted them they told me it was my work. I put in the parts they said I needed,brought the vehicle back for alignment. Picked up after 2+ hours cause it was a lot of work. While doing more work noticed the shims weren't tight on upper control arm. So video taped and found none of the upper control arms marked aligned. The tie rods marked aligned. So out of the 8 bolts they had to touch, they only did half. Sounds like a half ass alignment not a $150 alignment that has to take extra time. Oh and guys going to keep posting. Better business next time. Instead of fixing you put customers down. Not a common job and required resetting computer, stopping the air compressor, and few other odds and ends. Have had problems every time I deal with them. After new struts six months ago my front tires that had been rotated six months ago wore badly unevenly. I rotate tires less than 5000 miles. Owner did not even look at tires just rotated them when I brought them together n yesterday. I brought it somewhere else today and they were badly aligned. I am not even sure the initial alignment they did when I bought the struts had been put in correctly. I had asked the manager for him to schedule an alignment check and explained they wore unevenly. He would not do it. It was cheaper for him just to rotate them. I told him they were rotated 4200 miles ago and he said that was the problem without even looking at them. read more

What an absolute joke this place is. Took my truck in for a body lift, something that should take a qualified and efficient mechanic 2-3 hours to complete and was quoted for 5 hours of labor. Ok fine, maybe they are just very thorough and want to make sure they get it right? First they decided that they needed to torch out some bolts that were rusted which happens; however they added three hours of labor WITHOUT confirming with me. Next, I pick up the truck and start to move the shifter around and the entire assembly comes apart, THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO TIGHTEN THE LINKAGE!! I mean really? That is something that could cause serious damage or much worse an accident. I brought this to the managers attention and he tried to blame it on the linkage being low quality, well duh, any linkage is not good if YOU FORGET TO TIGHTEN THE BOLTS!!! The manager was rude and really didn't seem to care. If I could give 0 stars I would, buyer beware of these clowns!! read more
