Our seats were up in the balcony but we had great views and sounds was good. The seats are REALLY close together though, like a large person sitting next to you or someone with big hair is going to be touching you the whole time kind of close together. Not a huge fan of stadium concerts if if it's the only option for that artist TD Garden wasn't bad at all.

We found out there was a free bus that goes from Cambridge to the North End so we decided to take it. We had dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. We were able to stop by at the Hub where everyone was hanging out before the game. Then we went up the escalator to go into TD Garden. I always love seeing different stadiums and all the fans crowding around. There was a sea of green everywhere. I loved the Jet Blue installations and the Boston signage everywhere. We had good seats to see the game. They were playing the Atlanta Hawks and won. The bonus was they were giving away free gift cards to fans and our section was called. We received a $50 giftcard to Encore Casino. That was a bonus for the end of the night. We were able to use it the next day at the casino and win some money. Thanks TD Garden! We really appreciated it!

Normally, I don't write reviews but I want to shout out some great customer service. I saw Spider Man Brand New Day today in their Dolby Cinema. The movie was great, and looked and sounded fantastic in that auditorium. No issues there. However, my seat was difficult to get to recline, and after leaving to use the restroom and return it wouldn't recline again. The controls seemed not to be working. I told one of the guys at the Customer Service counter because I figured they'd want to know so they could fix it. Without even asking for one, he offered me a pass for a free showing due to the issue and thanked me for letting them know which seat it was (I assume people are often less than gracious when they encounter issues like this. It is Boston after all, a place known for level-headed responses to inconveniences...). Major kudos to whomever that was. Why only 3 stars? The common areas are looking a bit worn these days. I assume this location is one of the busier ones in the area though. I've also had them be out of butter for popcorn on a random weekday at like 6pm when it wasn't even busy. I've never had an issue with cleanliness in the auditoriums. The bathrooms can get rough when it's busy, and they could use some updating. The IMAX here is not a full-sized one, but it is still larger than most in multiplexes (it's no Jordan's Reading, but it's much better than the Boston Common AMC) and is 1.85 or 1.90:1. However, unless something is shot for IMAX I would say you should do the Dolby Cinema instead here as it has reclining seats and it's the same aspect ratio, I believe. Overall, very solid local theater that's starting to show wear and tear because it's busy. The theaters are clean, in my experience. However, I was particularly impressed by the staff today.

Haunt jumped out at me. The process: Purchased tickets online (choose between entrance + 1 haunted house $25, entrance + all 3 haunted houses $40 or a VIP pass; Kids 3 and under: free) Parking- plenty of parking behind the event! Short walk Main entrance (no line at 6:15pm the Saturday before Halloween) one guy is checking ID's for booze, there is security (the bag restrictions are real so leave them at home) The music is blaring Halloween tunes (think Disturbia and Thriller). Right in front of you is a tower of skeletons. It feels exciting! We were immediately gifted 3 $5 Dunkin Gift cards. I asked why? They were sponsoring the event that night! Heck yeah! Then a woman greeted us and offered us a free popcorn combo cup. Think cheesy popcorn and Oreo popcorn. My little guy loved it. We immediately gravitated toward the main stage. Cornhole. Bubbles. Bumping music. My radio station was hosting- 96.9! Free cup and cozy! Another score! My husband was enjoying Bent Water beer. We eventually moved to Dino-land. Jumbo Jenga and Connect Four. My daughter and I branched off and went to Rise of ANNKH four her haunted house of choice. Only about a 10 minute wait in line. I will share- this event has money behind it. The visuals alone but in this haunted house a lot of working mechanics (I won't share too much but it was cool to see) and I did feel like this might be what its like wandering through the tomb tunnels in the pyramids. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being super scary it was a 4. We then hung out with the jumbo werewolves, exploring the little shops (little!) My husband scored another tickets so he could go into a haunted house with our daughter ($9 single ticket.) They went Into The Astray (no wait.) The review: it was wack! They told me the theme was smoke and fences. The little guy and I kept buy with a little scene set up for photos and met a Gravedigger. We ended our experience wandering around the graveyard. Great visuals! Overall- cool event. With this only lasting us about 1.5 hours I think they should be charging less to get in but we were all glad we did it. I had two great seats I could have purchased from ACE Tickets and passed on them due to the tickets Higs posted for sale. They later sent us an email stating they had posted the seats in error and canceled our sale. They have yet to respond to him with a solution to their error. He has already filed a complaint with the BBB and plans on filing one with MA Attorney Generals office. We normally always purchase our tickets for all events threw either ACE or Stub Hub and I recommend using a service provider that finds a way to honor their mistakes and not pass it on to their customers. I myself purchase between 10k to 20k a year in sporting events, concerts etc. I have been too both of the Patriots past two Super Bowls. ACE tickets had once sold me Celtics playoff tickets and when I went to the office by the Garden to pick them up before the game, they figured out the sales associate accidentally booked the game prior. I spoke to the manager and after a few minutes and him making a couple calls. ACE managed to get us into the section that has its own bar area and box seating, keep in mind, this was a sold out game. This is what a FIRST CLASS operation does, it corrects their own mistakes at no matter what the cost is to them. It just takes one upset consumer to pass on good or bad exp with companies to those who are considering doing business with them. This is my first and last time using Higs Tickets unless they honor their error. If Higs does the right thing, I will come back on here and edit this review, if it still views as you read it now, well that tells you everything you need to know about them.

The problems started before I even arrived. I was traveling from Logan Airport and followed Encore's own website instructions for the shuttle. Those instructions were wrong. Because the hotel had not updated its posted pickup location, I spent roughly an hour walking around downtown Boston in the rain trying to find the shuttle. I called twice for help and spoke with two different representatives, both of whom were deeply uninterested and unable or unwilling to provide useful assistance. When I finally found the correct shuttle area, I waited even longer in the rain, only for the driver to tell me and two other passengers that we needed to get on a different shuttle that was already pulling away from the curb. We literally had to chase it down to catch it. Because of this, I missed a work meeting. Unfortunately, arriving at the hotel did not improve the experience. After standing in an excessively long check-in line, I finally got to the front desk, where the staff confidently insisted that I needed to pay the full room amount, even though my company had already paid for the reservation. At that point I was exhausted, wet, and late, so I paid it just to get into the room. Now my office manager is having to argue with the hotel because staff are apparently claiming I never had a reservation at all -- which is especially strange given that I am currently sitting in the room, and we have an emailed receipt showing that the room was already paid for. Even worse, the staff member speaking with my office manager has reportedly been snarky, condescending, and dismissive while she tries to resolve a problem created by the hotel's own systems. Rather than helping investigate the discrepancy, he appears to be treating her as though she is confused or incompetent. That is unacceptable customer service under any circumstances, but it is especially galling when she is the one trying to clean up Encore's billing and reservation mistake. This was not one minor inconvenience. It was a cascade of failures: incorrect transportation instructions, unhelpful phone support, chaotic shuttle coordination, a missed business meeting, a miserable check-in process, an apparent duplicate charge, and now a billing/reservation dispute being handled with condescension instead of professionalism. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury resort, this was genuinely embarrassing. Nothing about this experience felt organized, hospitable, or guest-focused. It felt like a high-end property with low-end operations and staff who could not be bothered to solve problems they helped create. Encore Boston Harbor may be a great place to stay if you enjoy being wet, late, overcharged, dismissed, and treated like an inconvenience. I will not stay here again, and I would strongly caution business travelers against relying on this hotel for anything that requires competent logistics, accurate billing, or basic customer service. Beautiful building. Broken operation. Absolutely not worth the aggravation.
