I gave The Driveway a try not long after they opened. I can say that I like these guys. Kevin and his team are kind and responsive. I've been to them for basic maintenance and they were transparent with their costs and what I should do with my car. I few years ago I had my 2017 Model S in with custom alignment values and they nailed in the alignment even though it took a bit more work to get it dialed in. The Driveway is an auto shop near the Plant. When driving here, the navigation will lead you to a different location and not the shop. However just keep driving around and look for it! I came here to get my 06 Lexus IS250 fixed because my VSC light, trac light, and engine keeps on coming up and I had to fix it right away. The problem with it was a misfire. And one of the owners named Willie, suggested that I should replace all 6 of my spark plugs. If that didn't work I had to replace my ignition coils. But luckily after replacing all of the spark plugs no lights came on. (At least for now, it's been a couple days since I got it done.) When your car is being worked on and you plan to stay here and wait, there's a nice cozy waiting room area. There's also magazines to look at, free coffee,and also free wifi! This place also has a restroom too. Overall I would come here again if my car has any problems in the future. This is my new go to place for everything! I requested a quote from couple of places that can install a hitch in my Tesla Model 3 and The Driveway is one of them. I didn't pick them initially because the other business that I called charge a couple of hundreds cheaper. The other shop looks unorganized and lacking of professional equipment. So I realized after that and reading The Driveway reviews of happy customers. I've decided to go with them. The quality of their work shows on the photos of their current and previous clients. That's very important to me. Deposit was required for the appointment and to order the hitch for me. The brand is Stealth Hitch (they are authorized dealer). We came in on Saturday morning. The installation was quick and the waiting area is comfortable enough for the length of time we were there. There were 2 guys there and honestly I'm very forgetful of names. So sorry. One guy that installed, he was friendly, knowledgeable and did the installation quick and easy. The second one was the office guy he was nice and friendly too. Top tier service! I was researching for a place to bring my 2021 Supra in for an alignment because I just had air suspension installed. The Driveway really caught my eye because they have a track record of working on sports cars, luxury cars, Tesla's and other modified cars. I called to get a quote and was given a good price so I decided to take my car here. Will had assisted me over the phone and greeted me in-person. He was friendly, made me feel welcomed and very knowledgeable about cars. Will and Kevin both track their cars so immediately I felt comfortable with any suggestions they had. Before they took my car in to work on they offered me a beverage which I accepted a bottle of water (they have a coffee and other drinks as well). While they worked I was able to play Gran Turismo with an actual driving simulation with a steering wheel and pedals in their lobby/waiting room. I had so much fun that the car seemed to be finished in no time. Afterwards, I had let them know that I needed help adjusting the ride height in my car because it was riding a little harsh. Kevin and I had taken the car for a ride and right away he knew what was going on. He let me know that my rear was sitting too low causing bump steer and a harsher ride. He then adjusted the pressures accordingly and the ride was much smoother. Mike was also kind enough to let me know how to set my presets in the air management system. Friendly and Reliable! Would be the two words that first popped up into my head while writing this review. I was referred by my uncle that recently had his transmission swapped by The Driveway. Me thinking it would be worth a shot since to me recommendations speak louder than reviews on Yelp cause you never know what you can actually expect until you experience it yourself or from someone you trust. My first time here was to have them diagnosed an idling issue on my G37. One of the co-founders Willie welcomed me in and gladly helped me out while the team was out on lunch. He claimed it was a motor mount problem, we then later had this confirmed by Michael the mechanic. After that, we quickly placed an order for a new one. The whole process itself took about a week and a half. 90 percent of it was due to shipping delays. As soon as they had the part. They replaced it first thing the next morning for me to drop by and pick up my car. During the whole process, they were really communicative by reaching out to me and giving me updates on how everything is progressing. Just that alone convinced me that these guys are trustworthy for me to come in again for whatever problems I have. Although I haven't had any problems with my car since it's last time at The Driveway. I still occasionally come here to do almost all my maintenance work. I'm usually the type of guy to do the maintenance myself on my own car because I know I'm doing it right, however, Michael is just so friendly and good at what he does that I honestly don't mind dropping my car off for him and freeing myself up to do other things. Ever since my first visit with them. I am finally confident enough to turn my car into a project car because I know if there's ever a problem that arises. This is a lengthy review, so grab popcorns and some drinks. What can I say. This shop is amazing! I've been there like what? 3, 4, maybe 5 or 6 times now! Starting from having sway bars installed plus all the way up to balancing wheels and tires rotation on my 2015 Infiniti Q50. And more mods to come if I can think of any! Mind you, I'm extremely picky when it comes to finding a place that does honest work and doesn't upsell you on things you don't need. I also find that The Driveway is reasonable w/their pricing. Most importantly; support your local businesses, folks! ***Update as of 10/03/2020. Came in for road force balance and tires rotation yesterday on Oct 2nd. After the job was completed, Will pulled my car out and the team noticed a coolant puddle on the ground. Presumably at first, I didn't think it was my car. But they told us to pop the hood, check, and address. Turns out, it was leaking from the heater bypass hose (see pictures below). Mind you, I'm driving down to SoCal w/my girlfriend for my birthday and our anniversary, 10/04. They insist I should come back and let them work on the repair before heading out. Ofc, I did.
