I had 8 wheels that needed tires dismounted and mounted with new tires for an upcoming track day that weekend. I called them and was able to get an appointment for the following morning. I was first referred to The Driveway by a friend when I needed tires mounted. While there, Mike asked me if I wanted to buy some TPMS sensors since I didn't have any on my aftermarket wheels, but my car does use them. They gave me a very reasonable price and programmed them for me. Service was quick and the price was right. No more annoying TPMS light on the dash! I went in a couple months later to do four-wheel alignment. I race my car on the weekends, so I need a more aggressive setup. I've also added a lot of adjustable suspension parts that needed some extra care. Mike again got me squared away within an hour. I honestly can't remember the last time my car drove this straight and tracked the road so well. Quality work by competent people. First time here! I decided to switch up mechanics and decided to check out The Driveway. Too many times, mechanics are too casual and underestimate their workload...what ends up happening is that I drop off my car and don't get it back until WAY after it is promised. NOT THE CASE HERE! They have a great appointment system at The Driveway, and I appreciated the quick communication from Kevin. I received appointment confirmations (via text/email). I arrived a bit earlier then my appointment time and waited since they were with another client. They took my BMW in and finished in right on time as promised. The final price was also within $4 of the quoted estimate! You get a clean print out that lists the services, parts used, etc. No carbonless sheets with scribbled hand writing here... Finally - the shop and waiting area is clean and comfortable! I been to many shops before where you end up sitting in run down waiting areas. The Driveway offers a nice sofa, drinks, snacks, wifi and even Playstation! Perfect "work at home" conditions for those who go during the work day or need to get some work done while their cars are getting worked on. Overall, my experience was very positive. I'm impressed! I started by just reading reviews last nights, scheduled the tire rotations and done within 15 minutes of arrival! I mean, yes, tire rotation is probably easy to do but for a busy person who only know mainstream car services like America's tires, this is eye opening! Thank you once again Michael for carefully dismounting my tires and meticulously remounting them on the "Limited Wheels". I do not have a high end import car or a exotic European ride but I am fanatical about taking care of my vehicle. Michael at "The Driveway" gets it, he carefully placed the floor jack in the proper jack points, used the proper tool to remove my center caps (without scratching), had the right plastic inserts used on the tire dismount machine, used tape weights instead of the clips-on (which either fall off or scratch your wheel), knew the correct torque spec and even placed my wheels locks in the same lug nut hole on all four wheels. Unfortunately, most tire shops care more about quantity than quality and believe it or not there are a lot of car owners who are fanatical and meticulous about how equipment/ parts are installed on their vehicles. These guys are great. I came to them for basically a full rebuild of the suspension system of my 2008 Lexus ES-350. The $1600 estimate was less than half of what the dealer quoted me. There was an issue with the fit of the front right axle boot during the repair. So they installed a new axel for no additional charge. The car was ready when they said it would be. Went with the driveway from a friend's recommendation for to get tires for my is200t as I did not want to deal with a long wait time at america's tire even though they are close to my house. I ordered tires with Eranthe over email and within 2 days i received a phone call that they have the tires in stock to bring my car in. Overall friendly staff, the lobby had pretty floors with a tv on wall and seating. Free coffee was a plus while i waited for my tires to be installed. I was working on my spark plugs for the fr-s (boxer engine, so the plugs are horizontal and there is 2 inches of room to work) and I got my 14mm and extension stuck in there. I started freaking out and tried jacking the engine up, which didn't work. So I gave these guys a call to ask for a tow, but they were willing to drop by and see what they could do before going for a tow. I managed to get past the situation and was on my last spark plug, but they were still willing to drop by and see how it was coming along. I can't imagine they would be doing this for much more once they get busier, but damn that is service if you ever got taken care of. I dropped by after to get my diff and transmission fluids swapped, this time they had a Ferrari 328 in the shop. Pretty sick stuff rolls by in here! read more
