Can't discuss the pizza but I'll discuss the customer service. Called in an order at 6:12 according to the receipt. Was told 30 minutes by the person who took the order. Showed up around 6:40 expecting a small wait. Was told my order wasn't ready. I ask some around 6:45 how long my wait is and they say 5 minutes as I see a pizza that is half meat lover half te amo sitting around. 6:54 pizza is still sitting as I'm waiting for the wings. Why would I want a pizza that's been sitting around for 30 minutes plus another 15 min to drive home. Maritza, who said she was the manager, told me that it's always more than 30 minutes because it's the weekend. Well why tell someone it'd be ready in 30. She then told me it hadn't been 30 minutes. So when I said let's look at the receipts and it said I placed the order at 6:12 it was now 6:54 and I still didn't have my order if it was more or less than 30 minutes. Words cannot describe the amazing experience I had here! The restaurant is adorable and has a wonderful ambiance. The service is amazing 10/10 staff is patient and gives awesome recommendations for first timers. What an amazing local pizza joint. Picked up a bunch of pizza, fries, and calzones for lunch at work today. I only had the meat lovers pizza, so my review is based on that. Pizza crust was nice and chewy, not too much to make your jaw tired but not too little that it just falls apart. Generous amount of toppings, and just the perfect amount of sauce. Price is a bit higher than your National chains, but that's to be expected when you are visiting and supporting locally owned businesses, especially those in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. Came here to pick up two large specialty pizzas for Superbowl Sunday. I tried the Al Pastor and Elote Pizza which were both spectacular. Super easy to place orders with them along with the box has nice Te Amo Heart Logo on it. The bread although thick visually is light and fluffy. Each bite of the pizza has a good amount of cheese to balance the airy crust. I found both versions of the pizza translated very well from their authentic street food counterparts. The Al Pastor had delicious bits of pork, corn, and cilantro just like you would find on the street food. The Elote had a nice rich creaminess to it from the sweet corn and love the sweet sauce on top. Highly recommended as this is the only place I know in LA that serves such unique pizzas! read more

It seems like a family business, and I felt comfortable talking to the cashier long after I paid.
