    Organic Jasmine Rose
    Takako S.

I had a pleasure tasting Tea & Trumpets Organic Jasmine Rose when I had the tea service at Fleur Sauvage chocolates in Windsor. It tasted so good that I ordered it online the next day. It arrived today! How speedy my order was processed!! Thank you. I would love to try other varieties from Tea & Trumpets soon.

Best local tea company in Sonoma County

There isn't a place in Sonoma County that I can think of that has the variety of teas that Mark carries. Whenever I visit one of the markets; like Captain Picard (Star Trek) ; I always make sure that I pick up some "tea, Earl Grey, HOT!)even though you can't go wrong with any of the flavor teas that Mark has to offer. When it comes to tea; Mark is super knowledgeable with finding that perfect tea that is right for you, whether it be something to help you relax during the evening, or a tea that helps you jump start your day in the morning. You can tell that Mark is passionate about tea, as he is always friendly, and willing to answer any questions that you may have. Support local, and check out this place!

I found Tea & Trumpets at the Santa Rosa Wednesday Night Market a few years ago and visit the booth frequently. Mark is super knowledgeable about his product; if you ask him where one of his teas comes from, or exactly what is in one of his blends- he will know. The teas are all organic. He gives free samples of the "tea of the week" at market night. I like a number of his loose leaf teas: pumpkin spice, coconut splash, black tea chai, green tea citrus chai, red (roobios) chai, jasmine pearls. But, what made me a T&T super-groupie is his Matcha powder- AMAZING quality for the price. Here's how to make a better-than-Starbucks Matcha green tea latte at home- without any special equipment. (No diss to Starbucks. Like half the planet, I go several times a week, but it can get expensive) Put a teaspoon (more or less depending on personal taste) of matcha in a mug with a dash of ground nutmeg. Pour an ounce or so of almost boiling water over the tea (when the kettle just starts to "smoke" but before full-on steam is coming out). Whisk this together until frothy. I use a traditional bamboo whisk, but any whisk or hand-held battery frother will work. Add a bit of sweetener; I use a scant teaspoon of raw sugar. Fill the mug with whatever milk you prefer and microwave until hot. If you want a frothy top, use a hand-held battery frother, but this isn't necessary. Enjoy! Lastly, the story behind the name is super-cute, but I don't want to spoil the mystery- go see Mark and ask him! http://www.tea-and-trumpets.com

The Earl Grey is delightful! Absolutely love them at the Petaluma Farmers Market! Loose leaf tea is the only way to go!

My favorites are lemon ginger (especially wonderful this time of year) and chamomile hibiscus, which even my teenage son will drink from time to time.

Santa Rosa is fortunate to have a place like this still. It's a mixture of nice stationary store selling a huge range of pens (and refills), pencils, stationary, cards, etc., plus nice homewares like good crystal and china, along with games, puzzles, and art. They sell a number of locally made or themed items, too, such as art and crafts by local artists, puzzles with local images or themes from the area, and more. It's also a great place to get Christmas decor at Christmas time, for during the Christmas season they sell a nice range of ornaments and nutcrackers, including high-quality German-made nutcrackers and wooden ornaments, ones instead of just the more common lower-grade things one can find anywhere.

I stopped in to hunt for a Valentine's Day gift and was immediately met with a bewildering number of choices. It's the kind of place where you go in for one thing and end up contemplating an entire lifestyle upgrade. Their selection of greeting cards is easily the best in the area--actually witty, high-quality stuff that doesn't feel like a grocery store afterthought. What really makes this spot a gem is their support for the community. I managed to score a fantastic Valentine's piece from a local artisan, which beats a generic box of chocolates any day. Whether you're looking for fine crystal, unique jewelry, or quirky home decor, the variety is genuinely impressive. The service was top-notch--helpful without hovering--and you can't beat the ideal location right in the heart of downtown. It's a local institution for a reason.

We were in a real bind --…read moreI had completely underestimated how long it takes to get a gift basket delivered (apparently about a week!), and I realized far too late that we needed something ready before visiting a client. To make matters more complicated, the basket was meant for a group in an office setting, and while the shop offered gourmet baskets with locally sourced items, they didn't have quite the right mix of items on hand for that kind of crowd. But instead of turning us away, they stepped in with creativity, flexibility, and genuine kindness. We brought in items we thought would work, including some company promotional items, and they beautifully arranged everything into three polished, professional gift bins that looked like they had been planned weeks in advance. They truly saved the day. Their willingness to help, attention to detail, and can-do attitude made all the difference. It's rare to find a business so committed to making things work for their customers. We're incredibly grateful and we'll absolutely be back. Thank you for going above and beyond!

While doing my holiday shopping, I wanted to be mindful of the products I purchased this year and intentional in my gift giving. I also wanted to support other local small businesses. The Store Next Door has products that are mainly made in The North Bay area and all of the products are made by small businesses across the United States. I loved knowing that I am supporting small businesses that have been hit hard by Covid and our current economy. They have all kinds of unique gifts such as food and beverages, jewelry, bath and body products, totes, charcuterie boards and cutting boards, items for your home, great gifts for kids, and so much more! Whether you are getting a gift for yourself to treat yourself or giving a gift to a loved one, this place is a great place to shop. It has lots of items if you are looking for a birthday gift, a gift for a child, a house warming gift, and so much more! I will definitely be coming back to this store! I left with some items as gifts and bath salts for myself.
