I wrote my initial review not long after Tea Annie opened. I'd been there five times. I have no idea how many times I've been there since. I was there almost every day of my maternity leave, meeting and cementing friendships with other mothers with young babies (including Annie!). I've been back to work since December but make a point of going on the weekend to say hi to Annie and Jimmy, get my green milk tea with pearls, quarter sweet and maybe a strawberry banana nutella crepe or, if I'm very lucky, a taro bun. The tea is unparalleled and has ruined me for other places - I actually turned down Teaspoon the other day - too bitter. Annie and Jimmy are lovely. My son lists Annie's among his favorite places. ("Mama, this weekend can we go to Happy Hollow and Annie's?") Hell, I mentioned the opening of Tea Annie's as one of the standout events of 2015 in our Christmas card last year. Tea Annie has massively improved during their time at their location. You can get a refrehing milk tea with great pearls for a pretty not bad price. I actually prefer Tea Annie over some of my old favorites such as Tea Era and Gong Cha. They offer a nice mix of the milk and tea creating a smooth consistency. Recommended! read more

This is my favorite tea place in the Mountain view/Los Altos region. The owners are super friendly and the tea is high quality. The smoothies are very good too. My favorite is the avocado smoothie. They have a selection of hot food as well including fries and sweet and savor crepes! read more

They have really good tea! Their service is not so good which is why I don't give them a great review! Most of the times I go their I have to wait for longer than ten minuets to get tea but at other places it is less than five. I will continue going their but not in a regular basis. read more

This place is a cross between an actual tea shop with real tea leaves for you to smell and they brew it there for you and a boba place. The crepes are decent, the hand-held crispy Japanese style, but they aren't exactly the worth the price. Overall, I would say, it is a cool place to chill and talk to your friends, but don't expect anything mind-blowing. read more

I ordered a Thai tea regular sweet with boba and a crepe. Upon getting the drink it was way too sweet so I politely asked to get it less sweet, the first barista ignored me and continued making drinks for other customers. I asked again the person who took my order, Jimmy. He got very mad and quickly blamed me and said that you got normal sweet. He refunded my order and took away the drink and crepe I ordered without any consent and made me leave. read more

I love that this place opened up close to my work. Love because it's so convenient and delicious... hate because I'm now addicted and going there every other day! Cute little shop. I'm really happy to have a mom and pop store now that all the big boba names are coming to town. The owner who I've met a couple times is really sweet and she cares about what goes into her drinks. I haven't tried any of the food yet but I come in maybe once a week to grab a milk tea. Clean and well-maintained. The menu is fairly large and it's a bit hard to find a simple drink. The milk tea I ordered was pretty weak (don't remember the exact name but i think it was sakura?). Good customer service but drink came out slow. I was the only customer at the time, too. read more

The environment of the place is great. The service was perfect, they were all very sweet and polite even though they seemed to be pretty busy. I'm giving it 5/5 solely because the girl and guy working there were super AWESOME, they were kind enough to add pearls into my drink last minute after closing the lids. Otherwise it would've gotten four stars due to the small delay of payment because they needed to sign in on the iPad and it took awhile to figure it out. read more

I've go to way more milk tea places than I probably should, and this place is pretty nice. If you're into taiwanese milk tea, the quality is reasonable. I'd say it's nearly par with the 85° of taiwan, but better than American 85°. The array of teas is great, some mixed in house which is cool. If you like British afternoon tea, they have something for you too. I had their osmathus oolong, strong brewed, kind of earthy oolong, but I didn't get as much osmathus as I'd have liked. read more

This is my favorite boba tea place. Their tropical fruit tea uses freshly squeezed orange juice and the fruits inside are usually very ripe. Other places use fruits that aren't ripe and pretty sour. I would give this place 5/5 but recently I've been tasting something off about their tropical fruit tea. The orange juice seems to taste a bit strange like it's old. read more

I was in the neighborhood and this place was the closest boba place I found on Yelp. I placed an order for wintermelon oolong tea with milk and pearl, 50% sweet. The cashier (could also be the owner) was pretty friendly. After I placed my order, she told her employee what I ordered so he could start the drink. What I found odd was from all of the other boba places I've been to, there's either a machine or a monitor that shows my order from the prep station. At this place, I didn't notice that they had one but I could be wrong. The employee proceeded to make my order. After he shook my tea with the shaker, it looked like he added too much liquid so the cup was overflowing. He ended up pouring some of the liquid (1/4 cup) plus ice, down the sink. What a waste of ingredients. Then, he placed my drink in the lid sealing machine and wiped the cup afterwards. As soon as I got into my car, I took a sip of the drink. The sweetness and flavor was perfect but the boba was a disappointment. It had no flavor at all. My drink was a little bit under $5, for which I don't think was worth it. Parking is plentiful but spaces were pretty tight. read more

The tea quality is excellent, the size of the tea is large, the prices reasonable and there is always a friendly person to greet me. The facility is clean and brightly lit. They have a lot of choices and they happily take requests. Their milk tea is not over sugared so you can't taste the subtle tea flavors. This was my first time here a few weeks ago. Maybe it was just the time that I went but it was packed with kids probably since its in a neighborhood setting and in the afternoon. Just going out on a limb but I'm guessing that they just put the "out of order" sign on the bathroom so that it doesn't get bomboarded by the kids, but sucks if you had driven a little ways to get there. Had to go into safeway to use the bathroom. The drinks are on the pricey-er end of milk tea shops. The girl who took my order seemed like she hated her life. I get it work sucks but you just kinda fake it.. you know! My friend asked about the different toppings and the girl that was taking the order just told us to look at the board.. but the board was hard to read and all the way by the door. I order the Thai Milk Tea with regular pearls... simple and basic but the pearls were not cooked all the way. The place it self was messy, they did not bother to clean up the tables... there were trash laying around not the table, yeah it was probably because of the kids but still.. you should clean up after a big wave of people come. Refused to let my 6yr old daughter use the restroom. We were in the shopping center walking around waiting for my wife to join us, with my 2yr old in the stroller, and my daughter says she needs to go potty. We saw a restroom and walked in. I asked politely if my daughter could use the restroom. The clerk gave me a fake smile and said it was only for people that buy something.
