They don't skip on the garnishes either so every bite is chef's kiss. My kid loves their regular burrito with either carne asada or chicken. It's simple but on point. Just rice, beans, cheese, and meat. But every ingredient is cooked well and packed with flavor to make the perfect combination. The agua fresca is delicious. The pineapple is our favorite. It's so cold and almost frozen which is perfect for this Sacramento heat. This is hands down the BEST Mexican food in Roseville. Trust, your stomach and wallet won't be disappointed!

I was in need for a genuine taco fix, and decided to give Barrios Kitchen a shot for the first time…read moresince it was relatively close. I arrived to the taco truck with a few others already parked awaiting their orders a little after 3PM. I wasn't sure how to order but observed they had a QR code posted on their truck, scanned through the menu and ended up getting the 2 Carne asada plate. I received my order a little over 5 min later - very reasonable price. When I got home and tried it, boy was I happy I went here! The tacos itself had a distinct taste I'm not normally used to with "authentic taco trucks" but it was so good that I plan to visit here regularly from now on and WILL be ordering more than just the 2. I only wish their servings were a bit larger but for the price, I shouldn't be picky. I also really enjoyed the red and green salsa - red was very spicy and green was flavorful. 100% I'll be back - sooner rather than later!

This was good! Was at the Crocker Art Mix in March and ordered SPICY RONI $19 - Tomato sauce,…read moremozzarella, pepperoni, jalapeno, hot honey. A shareable size. I'm giving just 4 stars because the honey was sweet but not that spicy and the jalapeño was more of a bell pepper - also not that spicy. But the thin crust was good and I didn't have to wait too long. Service was inviting and informative. I liked that they had a buzzer to tell me when it was done which made it more of an appealing vibe. Other food trucks had people waiting around for the name to be called - the buzzer is WAY better. The food truck itself is gorgeous. To see the wood fire over from the big windows was super cool!

I walked over with my coworker around 11:45 and luckily, there was no wait. Thanks to our Philanthropy team I had a voucher for a free meal that I was excited to use. The service was lacking, the person who took my order seemed annoyed that I was using the voucher so that was a bit of a turn off. We ordered the Garden Vibe and got our order in about 10 minutes. Despite the service, the pizza was DELICIOUS and I love that it was a thin crust. The portion size originally looked small but I was able to share it with two of my coworkers and we were all very satisfied. Overall, great pizza but the customer service aspect of my visit could have been way better. If I see the truck around and I'm in the mood for pizza, I will definitely get it again.

You can get a street taco from anywhere... but where can you get a zip taco?!…read more Niko's Tacos was voted on Yelp's top 100 for taco spots in 2025. How cool is that!? I have seen Niko's Tacos all over my social media. It instantly caught my attention that I had to come in and see what the hype was about. After spending a very busy day with my client, I came here for a late lunch. I actually almost passed it up. It shares the parking lot with 7/11. There are only about 4 parking spaces out front. When you walk in, there are only 4 tables that can seat up to 4 people each. It is very cozy in here. The only menu I noticed is on the counter at the register. There were so many things to choose from. So today, I am trying their Zip Tacos! For meats, they offer grilled chicken, steak, shrimp, and newly added, al pastor. Inside these zip tacos, there are tomatoes, onion, cilantro, melted cheese, and the taco shell on the outside has sour cream and cotija cheese sprinkled on. Since I decided to sit and dine in, they brought me my order. I got 1 al pastor zip taco and 1 shrimp zip taco. These looked so pretty! I got an order of pretty tacos, lol. The colors inside were vibrant, and the drizzle of sour cream topped with cotija cheese was a nice touch. They offered me mild or spicy sauce. Of course I went with spicy. The shrimp zip taco was different, but very delicious. The shrimp inside was cooked just perfectly. I craved that next bite. The al pastor was ok. It seemed to be missing a little more flavor on just the meat. I loved how the tacos came dressed to party.... in my mouth. They even had bits of crusty cheese along the edges that added tasty bits to your taco. Next time I have a solo taco party, I'll be sure to come with a bigger appetite!
