Thai tea, pineapple mango, and jasmine milk tea
    Monica T.

Cute interior. Most of us (7 total) enjoyed our drinks. I like their popcorn chicken more than other places I've tried but I don't think it's as good as the former Feng Cha's. The jasmine milk tea was a little weak in tea flavor but at least I could discern it was jasmine. I liked their boba but it was my first visit so I'm not sure about consistency yet. I will happily be revisiting.

The service was quick and friendly. Came on a Saturday so a lot quieter than normal because there is a high school next door. Ordered the mango slushie large, will probably get the matcha milkshake next time and their milk substitute are oat and almond milk.

    Pina colada milkshake

A new cute & clean boba place that just opened recently. I had the popcorn chicken that had the perfect crunch and very flavorful not dry like some places. Crab wontons were so good and creamy. Fries were also crispy and not soggy like a lot of other places. The service there was quick and the cashier was very attentive. She even helped me select a really good and refreshing pina colada milkshake since I was indecisive what to get and wanted something to cool me down on a hot day.

Forgot to take a photo of the calamari. Too busy eating. Lol

Plenty of indoor seating with a mix of counters and tables, no outdoor setup, and a pretty minimal food menu. But you're not here for the food anyway. Easy We had: Pour Over, Papua New Guinea and Bali (5/5): Finding a genuinely good pour over under five dollars feels almost extinct at this point. Somehow, Kingdom makes it feel normal. Both beans were clean, intentional, and actually distinct, which is the whole point of a pour over. The Papua New Guinea was smooth with soft chocolate notes, balanced and easy without feeling boring. The Bali brought more brightness with a citrus edge that gave it some energy. Two different profiles, both executed well

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. I liked the place. It is a smaller area for seating, but they have a good menu. The food menu is a bit smaller, things such as breakfast, burritos, avocado toast, croissants, etc.... They have a good baked goods section, and they make very good coffee, as is their name. I got a box of macarons for Valentine's Day, plus one for myself, the macaron was tender, and had an amazing flavor. The person I got the Macarons for, she did like them. I also got myself a white mocha, which I liked very much. It wasn't too sweet, and the coffee was deep and rich. The price for everything was very reasonable. I want to come back and try more things, and I will definitely get more of those macarons next time also. Thank you.

We pulled in excited for both food and coffee... but quickly learned this is very much a coffee-first, food-optional situation. The coffee? Pretty solid. I ordered the honey lavender latte and enjoyed it. My daughter's iced vanilla latte also passed the teen approval test. Minor head-scratcher: I ordered my latte "for here" and still got a to-go cup. Now, the food. Oof. I'd strongly recommend sticking to baked goods (I didn't try them, but guessing that would be a better option) The avocado toast was a letdown. Imagine a teeny, paper-thin, cold piece of toast topped with a small smear of avocado that tasted more "packaged" than fresh, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, two lonely feta crumbles, and a sliced hard-boiled egg... served cold... on the side. It did come with a side salad, which felt like an apology. We also ordered a croissant sandwich (ham, Swiss, and scrambled eggs), which unfortunately did not sit well with my husband. The eggs tasted like they may have come from a carton. The staff was nice, but the service model was confusing. When I'm prompted to tip at checkout and there are tables and seating, I assume some level of table service. Instead, we picked up our own coffee, food, silverware, and napkins, and at the end, we also got the honor of bussing our own plates back to the counter. Full-circle dining experience. Bonus details: - They had one single packet of hot sauce left in the entire place - The salt shaker was completely solidified (we did ask for more, but the replacement had exactly one functioning hole) * And just to keep you on your toes, the front door pushes instead of pulls. A small thing, but somehow on-brand. Bottom line: Come here if you want a custom coffee. If you're hungry, manage expectations... or honestly, stick with good old Starbucks for consistency, fewer surprises, and doors that behave.

The coffee was from a pump carafe station. And it wasn't super hot, but that's how I like it. I know if I would've come with somebody else who likes it super hot they would've been a slightly disappointed by the temperature. I did get here just before noon so I'm sure the coffee might've been hotter earlier in the morning. Plenty of seating around this time of day and they provide Wi-Fi in the café. I would like to takeoff half a star only because I do think the coffee could've been warmer and also the temperature of the room was rather warm. Another customer even mentioned it when he walked in. On one hand, I'm grateful that I wasn't getting frozen like some coffee shops, but on the other hand halfway through my coffee, I felt myself sweating a little bit. However, I did not mention to anyone that my coffee was a little lukewarm and although a different customer mentioned it was a bit warm in the coffee shop. I didn't mention it. Hopefully it's not like that once we get to 100°. I would definitely come back here.

It's a cute little coffee spot with a fun vibe and great music (Drake was playing!), although seating inside is very limited. There are a few outdoor seats as well. I ordered the Chef's Bowl, and because I love rice, they were kind enough to add an extra scoop of rice along with the potatoes, which I really appreciated. I had asked for the bacon to be removed, but unfortunately it was still included, and there was a lot of it in the bowl. I spent most of the meal picking it out, which definitely took away from the experience a bit, but the dish itself was still delicious. I also noticed the presentation was different from what I expected. My graham vanilla bourbon latte was missing the cookie, and the drink came in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass I'd had on previous visits. My food also came in a little to-go carton instead of plated presentation. Has the place moved away from using plates and glassware? If so, what a pity, presentation really does make a difference, especially for such a cute café atmosphere. One thing I found interesting is that despite being only a few feet away from Karen's Bakery, Sociology still had a steady line of people waiting for coffee and food, which says a lot about how popular it is. I'd definitely like to try it again on a weekday and hope my latte will be in a glassware and my Chef's bowl does not have bacon!
