Everything about this place is great. The staff, the selection, the variety, the ambiance, decor. I can not say enough good things about this tea shop. I've had a lot of their teas at home, both iced and hot teas and lattes, sandwiches and pastries. Absolutely everything is great. You immediately walk in and feel calm and like you've arrived at a relatives house. This spot has good vibes. Came here at 10am on a Wednesday before our weekly farmers market run in town. We came here on recommendation and were not disappointed. Chic, country home, French patisserie vibes. Decor is classic and feminine and nice. A great spot with sprawling wooden and plush furniture to spread out during a study session or a project. Portuguese custard and croissant went nicely with our mochas iced tea and americano. Orders were made efficiently and everyone was kind and caring about our orders. This is a fantastic new find on Lunapule Rd. The pastries are the best in town with this previous 4 Seasons Pastry chef making delicacies beyond compare. Quaint setting, wonderful breakfast and lunch offerings, and nice folks. My guess is they will outgrow this space fairly soon ;) We went as a party of 4 and 2 of us split the delicious German breakfast of fruit, rolled meat assortment, little croissants with jam and butter, and a hard boiled egg served under a yarn cover. New favorite find in Kona! I am admittedly a tomboyish type of woman at heart but I love high tea. Maybe because it stems from my tea sets as a kid but there's something about mismatched tea cozies and milk tea that makes me immensely happy. It conjures images of the Mad Hatters tea party and white rabbits. Imagine how excited I was to find this spot via Yelp. I came in for lunch before my work day started and tried their Brie and apple baguette, paired with a pot of German black tea that the owner recommended. The baguette was very reasonably priced ($8) for the quality (but probably not enough for big eaters) and the tea was served with brown rock sugar and little white sugar cubes in shapes of butterflies and ice cream cones. I finished my meal with a small Portuguese custard pastry that had a phyllo dough bottom, making it extra crispy. All of it was reasonably priced for Kona, and delicious too. I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our morning coffees. We have driven past Tea-licious Cafe almost every day of our trip and finally decided to stop in. The inside of this coffee shop looks nothing like the rest of the island as it has a homey feel to it with lots of wood which I think would be perfect in a cold and snowy log cabin. That's not to say that there is anything wrong with that and I actually enjoyed this fact. As the name of this place would suggest, they have a nice selection of teas here but also serve coffee. Surprisingly they have a match(a) making service (see what they did there?) which can help you to find a date. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with the 100% Kona cold brew in a 16 oz cup while my wife went with the same in a 12 oz cup. We then watched our barista measure of the correct amount of coffe concentrate before adding water to it. Soon enough my wife and I had our coffees and were on our way to our morning activities. Whenever I tasted my cold brew, I was quite pleased by the dark and rich flavor to it which had lost nothing due to the addition of ice. It was good enough that I somewhat quickly finished mine and wished that there was more to be had. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Tea-licious is a cute little place with some distinctive throwback flair (no WiFi - talk to someone!) and some good drinks as well. read more

Cute little breakfast spot with tons of yumminess to offer. Started off with a coconut chai and an almond croissant with an extra petite strawberry cheese danish. Delicious! The owner relayed the pastries came from France and makes the spread and syrups here daily. Then was hoping to get a lunch sandwich but bread wasn't finished yet so got a Tomato/mozzarella sandwich on a croissant. Turned out great! The ambiance is charming and cozy. The owner is key to how amazing this place is. She was very welcoming and assisted with all our many questions and very accommodating. As locals, we'll be coming back again! My wife and I have eaten at Tea-Licious several times and have never been disappointed. Tea and coffee selection and flavor are exceptional. My go to sandwich is the salami and cheese. The bread is marvelous. We have tried various salads and find them well prepared and full of flavor. The mochas are the best. Great coffee flavor and perfectly blended. I always indulge in the Swiss Role for dessert. Mouth watering! The owner and staff continue to impress with friendly and timeLy service. No view, no worry. The food and quaint room will bring one back often. The seating is somewhat tight, so be comfortable with conversation or being close to Ohana. Super cute little French café! My husband and I came here a few times when we lived on the Big Island and loved the coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. Seating is a bit limited & depending on when you come, it could be a little busy. But if you're able to snatch a table, a highly recommend it! Great service but a bit over priced for what they're serving. The lavender coffee I ordered didn't seem to have even a hint of lavender in it, the espresso tasted burnt, and there was a hair in the Portuguese custard tart, I noticed the cook doesn't wear a hat or hair net so I'm not surprised lol hella cute little café though and I still ate the tart because they were $7 and the size of a dingdong. read more

Not a good day to start my morning with an unfriendly barista... my coffee macchiato was super diluted. Not worth your money.

We ordered hot drinks and were not provided sleeves, although everyone before us with hot drinks got sleeves. When we asked for them, person was hesitant to give and said "we are running low". And people who ordered after us got their drinks before us. They have a table with a journal to fill in that says " what are you grateful for?" Super rude and unkind treated us like trash. I would never return to this café again. I've never been to any place ever in my entire life where people were this rude.
