The inside is pretty small and there is not much space for seating it's more of an order to go place. I ordered the orange green tea with boba. It was way too sweet and tasted so artificial! I couldn't even finish my drink. The only reason they get 2 stars is cause the boba was good and fresh, but the drink was not. Ive been a big fan of Tea Maison for a while. Not because of its location -- because its smack dab in the middle of Shanghai Plaza. Not because of their store -- because they provide NO indoor seating whatsoever. Not because of their prices -- because from a regular to XL size (which id really just a large anywhere else) is $2.25 upcharge. I guess the only reason why I fell into their trap is because of their Mango Sago, which honestly is to die for. But recently, the last three times Ive gotten it, it has been poor quality. And by big fan, i mean ive been going here since 2021 getting this. Their milk tea is very mid, which is unfortunate from a boba shop. Their matcha is good. Creme brulee isnt like other shops, its more of a cream cheese type cold foam topping. Theres no burning of the sugar (at least in the matcha or oreo brulee). I take people here because its way better than sharetea, the only other boba shop in shanghai. But what really did it for me is I came in on May 17th around 2ish pm. Me and my three other friends were amongst two other people in the store when we walked in. 1 of those people in line paying. The worker has seen us walked in together because they GREETED us. And if the excuse is they just say that to everyone they dont comprehend whos walking in 1) thats a safety hazard 2) how inauthentic for a mom and pop shop. I worked 10 yrs in customer service -- its not that hard. We get in line. My friends are very obviously talking to each other because its two of my friends first time. Theyre asking for drink recommendations. Okay, its my friends turn next. She orders. All normal. The worker goes to put the sticker on the line (or something similar). I ask my friend (keyword I ASK my friend), if I can have her points. She says sure. I start to put my phone number in on the screen after she paid. The worker comes back and is like hold on. Here is where I would give grace. She couldnt thought i was getting the last person's points (which I dont know why that matters or has anything to do with the worker or how they are paid or how they are treated as a worker of this establishment) so I clarified. I said, its okay, the LAST CUSTOMER is my friend. She looks at me, HEARS ME, then cancels the screen so I CANNOT put my phone number in. Then she proceeds to say "what?" I said, the LAST CUSTOMER is my friend. Im grabbing her points. She then says "Oh sorry, I thought you were taking the last customer's points." FOR THE FINAL TIME, I REPEATED, "Yes. Thats exactly what im doing. This is my friend." And she doesnt say anything and just calls for the next person. So now she makes it so AWKWARD and weird to even be in the store, when I am arguing with this service worker in front of my friends. I miss out on 15 points. Why would she change the screen if Im talking to her? Why would she clear the screen? Why wouldnt she offer the 5 points? Just really unfortunate and had no self awareness. Dont get me wrong, there are some very sweet people here. But overall, for as long as Ive been coming here, definitely better places like Pink Cactus. The absolute kindest people youll meet. I love tea maison!! I come here really often and the workers are really sweet and patient! I always order either a matcha milk tea with 50% sweetness or a matcha slush also with 50%! Yummy drinks here at Tea Maison! This is my first time going here even though I go to the plaza pretty often for food and to browse around shops. Every time I am shopping, this place gets packed quick! Came here on a week day and no wait so I decided to finally try it out to satisfy my boba cravings and wow was I amazed. The workers there are friendly and gave me some local fan favorites. They recommended the Tiger milk tea, mango with sago, and the brûlée matcha. I got the brûlée matcha slush with honey boba and it was good! Plenty of sweetness for my sweet tooth and the matcha was blended just right. With the brûlée it worked well together. I went to Tea Madison 4 times during my Christmas-New Year trip, here is my favorite place in Vegas so far. I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte (this was my drink at another boba tea shop in New York. The one at Tea Maison was not much flavor, and the strawberry I wish it tasted like fresh strawberry instead of the jam. I loved their Mango Pomelo Sago (wish I opted out the coconut milk), it was really nice and refreshing. And I got Honk Kong Ice Lemon Tea for my husband. This was flavorful and really nice citrusy taste to it. This location was very small, no seating area, just take out. Long line to order. They were very busy almost every time I went. Really surprised that we didn't like this place because of all the great reviews. But the boba was firm and the tea was a bit bitter and while the cup is cute - they need longer straws...we had a few sips and then for the rest of the drink we didn't get boba because the straw doesn't reach the bottom... the straws are too short and/or the cup is too tall. It was pretty ridiculous to have boba and not get any boba for the majority of the drink...til the end when you just take the entire top off so you can get the rest of the boba. Getting longer straws would solve this problem. I like to think it was an off night but we wouldn't come back because the boba was undercooked and the tea was nothing to write home about when we visited. read more

By far my favorite boba tea place I've visited in any state. I love the option of oatmilk as a non-dairy substitute instead of your typical non-dairy milk which always has milk powder. We got the Hokkaido and Taro boba with oat milk. So freaking delicious!!! I love the Taro boba. So smooth, just the right amount of sweetness and overall packs a lot of flavor. Lots of their milk teas can be made with oatmilk so you can still have all your favorite milk teas without the dairy. Some slushy options can also be made vegan. The cup container is also the best I've seen from a boba place. It makes you want to keep the cup! The space is fairly small with no seating inside. You may have to wait in line outside since the space is so tiny. Word of advice would be to either come right when they open around 11am-12pm to avoid lines and trying to find a parking spot. The parking is nuts here and you'll be looking for a while to get one after 5:00pm. I find that between 7-10pm is the most packed and you may be waiting an hour to get some boba. read more

This boba shop is in Shanghai Plaza. It is quite small but the line moves fast! Tried their Mango Pomelo Sago and it was so good! It was basically a mango smoothie with sago. This was super refreshing for how hot Vegas is and it was my first time seeing a boba shop with sago! I wish they offered it for more drinks! I'm annoyed because I come here at least once a month, but yesterday killed it for me and I will not be coming back, i purchased 3 drinks, and wanted a cup with just ice they said okay but need to charge for the cup, I said sure. I went to Tea Maison on a whim while in town in Las Vegas. They are located off the strip in Chinatown, in the Shanghai Plaza. Parking was plentiful and there were other shops and restaurants located in the same plaza. Tea Maison had a small interior, with no seats. It seemed like they only did to-go. They had an extensive menu of milk teas, fruit teas and specialty drinks. The cashier was super nice and helped us in giving recommendations for drinks. I ended up going with the super fruit tea with lychee jelly, while my boyfriend got the mango pomelo sago drink. The super fruit tea was so refreshing and one of my favorite combination fruit teas that I have tried. They had fresh fruits and I really enjoyed the passion fruit jam they used that had real seeds. The mango sago drink was also really good and fresh. I loved how it wasn't too sweet and had the right amount of sago. It is on the smaller size and I am sure during the busier times, you'll have to step outside to wait for your order but during this weekday visit right at opening time, there was only 4 customers total in the store so no need to brave waiting out in the summer heat. But if you are still serious about social distancing, this will perk your antennas up as the space for customers is pretty cozy. This time I tried the Avocado shake with of course boba balls lightly sweetened. Did not have much avocado taste but still enjoyed it. I've had their fancier fruit drinks and those are super yummy. I have never seen anything like it before where they jam the fruit into the tea drink. You can add boba balls but for me, I was good with the fruit chunks and went without the boba. I love Tea Maison because they do some specialty drinks very well, like the popular mango pomelo sago. My favorite thing is that they add crystal boba in it and also comes in an XL (1 liter) size. The super fruit cup is also great on a hot day, which is often in Vegas. I get it 50% or less sweet because sugar only makes me more dehydrated. My other usual is the brulee taro milk if I want something creamy and richer. I have never tried their more standard bubble tea options. Their service is also super friendly. Sometimes I find them TOO friendly and makes the order line slower because they're chatting with each customer. The main reason I took off a star is because the store is small. It's not a big deal but they tell you to wait for your order outside because of the tiny space. Although that makes sense so you don't crowd the shop, it is also 110+ degrees outside. They use an intercom speaker to announce your order number when it is ready and when you're inside the store, it is near deafening. It's a small price to pay for yummy drinks, I suppose. read more

One of my friends recommended Tea Maison, so I wanted to try it out. This most recent visit, I ordered a Hokkaido Milk Tea with oat milk and cheese foam, 25% sweet and less ice. It's been years since I've had a boba milk tea that I've wanted to throw away, but that is how this order was for me unfortunately. Despite requesting 25% sweetness, the drink was disgustingly sweet. I gave it numerous chances to see if it was just the first sips that tasted that way, but unfortunately, it was that sweet all throughout. If I hadn't already started my drive home, I would have gone back and let them know. I honestly really wanted to throw it away but hated the idea of throwing $9 in the trash, so I forced myself to finish it. The honey boba was a good flavor and had a nice firm and chewy texture; although it was entirely too sweet paired with the milk tea, it would have been perfect with a truly 25% sweet milk tea. And the cheese foam had a nice salty sweetness to it too. However, the milk tea really overshadowed those good parts and was so difficult to finish; it was just not enjoyable at all. Another thing to note is that Tea Maison (at least this location) only offers Oatly oat milk as a milk alternative, while many other boba places offer a variety of alternatives like almond, soy, and coconut milks. Oat milk is sweeter than other alternative milks, so it's nice to have less sweet options available. The service was okay, nothing particularly good or bad. And the environment itself was fine. It was clean and looked pretty nice with some seating inside. I do like the presentation of their drinks with the attractive matte cups they use. Would I return to Tea Maison after this most recent experience? I think all-in-all I'm less likely to want to stop there if it's just me picking up a boba milk tea; but if a friend wanted to go, I would be willing to try a different flavor like Assam, Jasmine, or Oolong. And I'd really emphasize I only want 25% sweetness and would try the tea before leaving in case I get something disgustingly sweet again. read more
