You can definitely tell that they are geared toward sweetened tea, because the unsweetened version doesn't taste particularly good--definitely not like a decent caliber oolong. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, so I am keeping the review up at 3 stars. But the place didn't seem to be as clean as I would like, and seemed to be a bit cluttered. Also the seating definitely leaves something to be desired. And the music was pretty loud. So, overall not a very impressive experience. Maybe they'll get better with time though. read more

Small cafe hidden in a new strip mall (that's full of new food places!!) on Spring Mountain. Got the matcha brulee with boba and mango cheese tea. I was informed by the girl working that the matcha brulee is thick and filling, but I decided to try it because it's one of their popular drinks. It was quite filling -but very delicious. It's a matcha slush with their brulee mix on the cup walls. The brulee mix tastes like a light custard. The mango cheese tea was also delicious. Fresh mango in mango tea topped with a light cheese foam. Really refreshing. I also want to say that the cups they use are worth taking note of. It's a taller but narrower cup than most (easy for smaller hands!). And it's very thick and sturdy. I'd definitely re-use this cup at home for other things. The fruit tea here is really good. In a lot of tea shops, the "fruit tea" typically tastes very syrupy or very artificial. Tea maison however, blends a very good black tea with the fruit flavors. The Oreo Green tea was interesting but was ruined by the sandy texture of the Oreo cookie, like left over coffee grinds in a coffee but it is in a green tea. Just too much mismatching thing going on. They're open a little later than other boba tea places and still have very fresh and tasty boba even late into the day. Their guest service is particularly fantastic as well, as I felt from my past experience. I ordered a green tea milk with boba, at 75% sweetness, but found it to be completely bitter, with only the boba to sweeten it up. My girlfriend, who had ordered a white peach tea with reduced sugar, also found it to taste like no sugar had been added. They really came through when I called to bring it to their attention, however, as they took care of us on my next visit with two drinks on the house. Having learned my lesson, I ordered the same drink with regular sweetness, and it tasted great. I'm used to boba places making their drinks overly sweet, so I'm accustomed to asking for less sugar. It's fine, not great. My brûlée Thai tea slush was mostly ice, so difficult to drink. Lacking in Thai tea intensity as well. My daughters mango slush was barely touched by her. I'm not sure why she didn't like it. My eldest daughter got the Tiger milk tea. I tasted that one, it was the best out of all the drinks. Should've stuck to the classics. It's HOT as heck inside for some reason like it's summer. It was 40 degrees outside (jacket weather) so it was crazy to have to take my winter coat off inside. The menu is only available at the counter which causes delays in ordering. We saw on Yelp they had macaron ice creams, which we wanted but there was no where to see the menu, so we just went basic and chose vanilla. The wall had some pictures of popular drinks but it didn't include everything. No price list. It's all a guessing game in here unless you have the physical menu in your hands which they have 2 of, and it's only at the front. If there's a line, you'll hold it up if you're indecisive. I order the Assam milk tea that you could tell they use the really tea leaf and fresh milk. The other drink is grapefruit green tea. While you drinking you can bite the grapefruit.
