I'm a bubble tea snob. I have my go to teahouse but sometimes I like to try something different but this teahouse is not it. The service was good but the milk teas were not fresh. I ordered the black milk tea and roasted oolong milk tea, 50% sweetness. The milk tea came out from the 2 premade milk tea containers from the small refrigerator and put it in a cup. She added some sugar and mixed it up and that was it. Tea tasted like it has been sitting there, which it had. That's a big no no for me. I like my milk tea freshly made and stirred together when I ordered. I really appreciated it when teahouses do that. The ambience was nice but I won't be back. read more

I got the passion fruit tea with 25% sugar and less ice, and it was great! Perfect sweetness for me and they use real passion fruit (you can see the seeds at the bottom). They also give you a punch card for a free drink after a bunch of visits (I forget the number). Not too pricey either to make that happen. The inside was also really nice with big long benches for working in groups with a good number of outlets. read more

Really great tea and coffee and extremely friendly service. I was in the car with my kid and my husband ran in to grab us drinks. While he was there they gave him a sample of the yuzu yogurt drink (which was delicious - not too sweet with real bits of yuzu peel). He brought the sample out to us in the car and then when he went back in they noticed he didn't have the sample anymore and got him a new one. I got the roasted oolong milk tea which was good. I prefer a stronger tea flavor in my milk tea but the vast majority of boba places don't do that. It was still a great drink. My husband tried the egg coffee which he loved. While he was getting into the car one of the employees (an owner or manager maybe) came outside to the car - I thought he forgot something but she wanted to make sure to describe how to try the egg foam before drinking so he could taste why the drink was different. I chose this spot to meet up with a friend and we were both happy with the attentiveness, customer service and oh, I should probably mention that I am extremely particular about pretty much everything and a tea snob to boot. I am unashamed. I had the roasted oolong with tapioca and my friend had the green Thai tea w/ jelly. We were both elated with the artistry and quality and sampled each other's choices. Really wanted to like this place more. I came here during the week about 10-15 minutes after opening (10:30AM). There was already a couple in front of me ordering their beverages. As i was scanning the menu, a very friendly lady (possibly the owner) made sure that I new that the menus standing in front of me were probably easier to read as opposed to trying to read everything on the wall. I had seen the Tiger Boba Latte in some pictures and it really caught ny attention so I knew that was what i wanted. I ordered it just as the name implies, Tiger "Boba" latte. The guy informed me that they had no boba yet and it wouldn't be until 30 minutes more til they had some. I tried order the chicken poppers also, to which he said the kitchen wouldn't open til 11AM. I told him I would pay for them and wait for them as I was going to be there studying for a good while. Anyhow, they made the Tiger Latte with some other topping and it was very good. Pretty sweet, so if you don't like super sweet things it may not be for you, but if you have a sweet tooth it's pretty good. I waited until 12:20PM and never got my chicken poppers. I was very upset but I'm not one to cause a scene and I had to go, so I left without ever getting my poppers. All in all, place is nice, drinks are good, can't say about the food since I didn't try it, customer service is mediocre, the guy made it seem like he didn't want me to order food because he kept saying how long it would take. I understand that they had just opened the doors for business but I used to work at a similar place and we came in an hour before opening to have tapioca/boba and food ready, that way by the time we opened the doors ever was available and ready. Upon walking in, I was impressed with the decor and coziness of the place. The service was friendly and accommodating. I ordered from the fruit tea selections. I got a citrus fruit tea and another with chia seeds with strawberries and kiwi for my mom. We both enjoyed our drinks! The drinks were refreshing and not overly sweetened. I tried my friend's since we ordered the same thing, aNd I discovered her egg coffee have more yellow (egg sauce?) in the coffee while mine was dark brown. Hidden gem! The tapioca is the PERFECT texture. It has the perfect chew yet still soft inside. I ordered the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and the tea flavor was prominent. Tea flavor was perfectly balanced with the creaminess and sweetness! read more

Tea fix is so yummy!! We tried their pandan hot tea and it was addicting. They bring out a thermos so your tea stays hot! Their popcorn chicken was also delicious. They some of the best tea drink ive ever had. I'm not a big fan of boba, so i really appreciate their tea selection. The tea drinks can be made iced or hot too and its really good. The only downside is the noiseness of the cafe. Its seems to be a family owned business so they have their 2 kids just running amuck and bothering customers who are trying to study or enjoy their conversations. Other than that, its an okay place. Not all the milk tea will available on the menu, when I asked and the answer was we don't do these anymore. If you don't then you should wipe out on the menu. Don't get Jasmine green tea and add kumquat. It does not taste good and will make you ill. Always stick with black tea and kumquat. Their organic teas always taste burnt or have a harsh aftertaste. I think they steep the teas too long. Organic teas should not be steeped for too long. Lighter is better. Vietnamese Coffee is average and tastes too cocoa like. I prefer espresso in hot water but this place adds cream to their shots. read more

So we came in 5 minutes before closing, yet the employees there still manage to serve us with the impeccable customer service. I didn't get their names, but it was a young Asian female with glasses & a young Asian male with the best customer service. Not only that, their drinks came out fast and taste absolutely great. New tea place we spotted driving down Wilcrest, not off of Bellaire. Outside is pretty unassuming, but inside the store is beautiful! Very cosy atmosphere with ambient lighting and greenery (the greenery is fake but still). Service left a little to be desired, we placed our order and before we could get confirmation or a number for our order the woman behind the counter had turned away to continue making drinks and did not hand us our receipt. Drinks are a little on the pricey side. We ordered their coffee milk and frozen yuzu yogurt drink, both of which totaled to $10 for regular-sized drinks. Their coffee is VERY strong but not bitter. You don't get that much coffee as about 1/4 of the cup is foam. The frozen yuzu yogurt drink was nice and refreshing; not too sour, not too sweet. The yuzu tasted a little more like kumquat, but not as tart/sour. Overall, this place wasn't bad, kinda on the pricey side and the service left something to be desired, but the ambiance is nice and is definitely a place you could meet someone up with for a quick drink or a place to study as there are several open tables to space out on. read more

Great place, friendly owner/cashier/barista. The iced egg coffee, their signature drink, is strong and lovingly & freshly brewed, so you'll need to wait a few minutes. I appreciated that the barista took time to explain how the egg coffee should be drank (approach each layer slowly at first). I've been here a couple of times and it never disappointments me. They make all tea drinks to order so you will never have any old tea. So far the drinks I have tried are the Iced Egg Coffee, Chrysanthemum tea, and Chia Summer Breeze. They all taste really good. If I could give 0 stars I would. It's not so much the products but the service here. They have a whole menu out and half of the products seem to be "occasionally available," according to the staff. I asked them about a product on the small menus and they had no idea how to make it or what it was. I gave them very specific instructions about what I wanted in my coffee because it is more overpriced than STARBUCKS and they completely disregarded them.
