I do like that they try to have as much coverage as possible for the patio seating and cooking fans for our hot summers. Drinks- I'm a sucker for a lychee martini which I obviously had to get. I started my 40th birthday celebration here. We had a 4:30 reservation for afternoon, but the weather was awful which put us behind. I called ahead and was reassured that we would still be able to get our experience. However, we were informed that last call was 5:30pm. The ambiance and decor are absolutely stunning in person, and the restaurant feels very elegant and welcoming. Unfortunately, we weren't able to dine because we came as walk-ins. Their website mentions that walk-ins are accepted based on availability, but when we arrived we were informed that it was reservation only at the time. The hostess did kindly offer to place us on a waiting list in case any reservations canceled, which we appreciated. OMG! I just found my new favorite brunch place in Houston! Where to begin...the place is beautiful! It is so Instagram-worthy! I came here with a friend on a Thursday and we did not have a reservation, but we were able to sit outside which was equally as beautiful. My friend ordered tea and they brought her the cutest tea cup and tea pot. I had the mocha latte and it was delicious! We tried the hash brown, and I am not usually a fan of those but this one was so good! I also ordered the Chilaquiles with Carnitas and they were delicious!! Overall, a great experience for galentine. Booked a reservation online 30 days in advance. Afternoon tea is 1 pot per person and I recommend everyone at the table to get different ones to share. Sandwiches were all wonderful - my personal favorite are their dill/cucumber sandwich and tuna. Salmon was not bad either. I see others complained about their scones being too dry but I quite like it. It's not sweet and not too dry, and great with their strawberry jam. Perhaps we got a good batch. It was warm as well. For $38/person, don't underestimate afternoon tea, I didn't even make it to the sweets. Got too full after one scone and on their delicious tea. Milk oolong doesn't have milk but I somehow smell sweet milk in their oolong tea. Little Hen tea is basically honey and lemon. It was delicious for someone like me who likes to still taste their tea but a semi-sweet. White wedding is a floral tea. Bold but delicious for those who like bold tea with no sweetness. Everyone was up to dress-code in a beautiful ambiance with details. Becareful of parking in front as the QR code is not working to pay and you will get a $30 fine (February '25); servers are aware but it's not their territory. Let's see if I can dispute it.
