Yesterday, today and tomorrow…read more I have been a semi regular customer at their service department for a decade because the owner has been able to balance quality service with reasonable pricing. That is no longer the case as I recently discovered. Yesterday (Feb, 2024) at Star Auto it cost me $39.99 for a regular oil change. Today (July, 2024) I went to Pep Boys and it cost $35.99. Tomorrow if you go to Star Auto expect to pay $82 plus taxes and fees per a sign posted in their service department. Yesterday (Sept, 2023) the cost of tire rotation at Star Auto was $19. Today I had my tires rotated at Star Auto at a cost of $32.55. Tomorrow I will be heading to Pep Boys where there is no charge. Yesterday (Sept 2023) my wife had a synthetic oil change at Star Auto for $89.95. Today (July, 2024) my wife had a synthetic oil change for $78.68 including taxes at Pep Boys. Tomorrow if you go for a synthetic oil change at Star Auto expect to pay $115 plus taxes per a sign posted in the service department.

I inquired about the truck online, and all of the negotiating was done via email. Josh was transparent, honest, and extremely helpful in every single aspect of the process. I am personally a numbers/breakdown guy, and he consistently broke down the new deal each time we agreed on something. When I drove there for a test drive, they treated me and my family with the utmost kindness and respect. NEVER did I feel any pressure from them to make the deal happen. They simply gave me the numbers, broke everything down, gave me an honest and competitive offer on my trade-in, and ultimately got the sale. I can only speak of the sales department, but if you are in the market for a vehicle, I would HIGHLY recommend Robert's. Absolutely wonderful people!!

The interaction left me feeling positive about this dealership, so I requested an appointment to see that specific car. They confirmed my appointment via text multiple times. The morning of the appointment (that's today!) I decided to text that same number to confirm that the vehicle was still there, as the drive to this dealership is almost 2 hours from my home. They responded & told me that the vehicle was sold, but I should take a look at their other options & let them know which I was interested in so they could have them ready for my appointment. I never showed any interest in their other vehicles. I was very clear that there was one single car I wanted to see, & so that's the car I made an appointment to see. They sold the car & were never going to tell me. They were going to let me drive 2 hours one way to find out the car was gone. That's a really dodgy business practice. Not only will I not be buying a vehicle from a dealership willing to waste my time like this, I'll definitely be advising other people to stay away as well. They took the car for a ride and then put it on a lift to discover that there were only 3 lug nuts on a wheel. There were only 4 on another wheel. The last place that serviced our car had not tightened the lug nuts!!!! This shop moved some lug nuts so that there would be four on each tire, so that we could get home. And NO I didn't leave the lights on. You are the one that said that's what happened, but it is not true at all, when they lights were in auto mode. And again, as far as the extended warranty goes, there is no where on the paperwork showing that I declined it. So again another lie. And why 7 months later am I writing this you ask? Because I just finished fixing the many things that cost me another $5K
