This place is a joke purchased a car here a few years back only to have them take it back!! They are the epitome and sleazy car dealership and I am surprised they are still in business!! They are pusy and rude and only car about making their numbers look good! We were asked to bring the car back to sign some additional paperwork, we were blocked in and not allowed to leave. They threw the keys to our old car back at us and told us we had to leave!! It was truly like a bad nightmare to think we had a new car one day and then the next to have it taken away because they claimed "they could not get our loan approved" hmmmmmmm then why did you sell us the car? Hmmmm why did we get another car with a loan that was approved after you screwed us? When I filed a report with the better business bureau they said that I was incompetent and mentally unable to drive a car!! USED CAR BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Why only 1 star? If I could rate NEGATIVE star I would! If you had my horrible experience buying a Used car from this dealership, you most likely never buy a Used car from Oxnard Team Nissan. I've been wanting to write this review for so long, so here it goes! First of all, previously we bought a New car from Team Nissan and received excellent service. BUT when we went back to buy a Used car, Team Nissan gave us such horrible experience as if we never bought a car from them before. In other words, customers are treated more kindly if you buy a New car, but it's the exact opposite when you buy a Used car from Oxnard Team Nissan! 1. The vehicle we bought had problems that should have been fixed before it was put on the sales lot. Side mirror was cracked, broken windshield wipers, loose driver-side sunvisor, handle of back hatchback door was placed upside down, driver door would not lock when using car remote. "Carlos Estrada" was our young & inexperienced salesman who should be avoided if he is still working there. 2. BEWARE of what you are signing! We wanted to return the vehicle, but because my husband signed the contract and was TRICKED into signing the line where you cannot return the car if problems arise. My husband was not told that specific detail before he signed that contract! Paul was the Dishonest Nissan employee (Finance Dept) who TRICKED my husband into signing that contract. 3. I wanted to order 1 extra car key and all my husband needed to know is where in Team Nissan we needed to go to place an order & PAY for our extra key. The Sales Manager was very RUDE to my husband and assumed he wanted another car key at no extra charge after we bought our vehicle. This Sales Manager had very Poor Communication skills! So, you see, it was one bad experience after another. I was so upset that I needed to get out of the Finance Dept to get some air! After two one-star performances, I had a problem where I felt I had to take it to the local dealer. This time,Team Nissan quickly fixed the problem and had my car to me at least 15-20 min before they estimated they would. People were pretty friendly, as well. I wanted to like the guys over here at Team Nissan, they were nice to my face, but the finance guy who funded our loan was shady. He convinced me to buy the Maintenance package for my 2016 Nissan Rogue. I specifically asked him if I could get it serviced at Simi Valley Nissan (that's where we live) because we didn't want to have to drive 45 minutes for an oil change, or whatever maint. we needed. He assured me it would not be a problem. Along comes our 5000 Mile service...and low and behold. SV Nissan won't take us, and sends us to Oxnard. So now the $35 a month added to my monthly payment for this service feels like a complete waste. In 2014 I stopped by to buy a Nissan NV and they would not negotiate so I bought at Nissan Glendale who gave me the price I was looking for. In 2015 I gave Team Nissan another shot and went in to buy a Nissan Sentra. Wasn't impressed with the sales manager who gave me a price with a the take it or leave it attitude. I bought a Nissan Sentra from Nissan Mission hills (best experience by the way!) Finally thinking about trading in my 2006 Nissan Titan. Stopped by to check out the Titan XD and no one gave me the time of day. I finally asked for some help and the sales rep said he'll send someone over (not sure why he couldn't help me). Waited 5 min and no one came. Talked to the receptionist and he started making some calls but no one came. Finally told him that I lost interest and walked out. I already know how this is going to turn out. When it comes time to buy the XD I will go to team Nissan to do all my test drives, fall in love with the truck but will end up buying somewhere else. However, I was shocked and appalled about the comment from the finance staff member at the end of my purchase. After working with the salesman, we were escorted to the finance staff member's office and after the final signature, I stood up to shake the man's hand. We needed the brakes to be check we had a noise problem on the brakes on our fairly new car, On Friday we went by and the place was very busy so we ask Frank Martinez at the counter how long was the wait time he said about 2 hours, we ask the if Monday was an easy day he said yes it is better on Monday morning and since service is first come first serve, we set to do it on Monday morning . So on Monday My boyfriend stay home ask for few hours off from work and arrived at the Dealership at 7:50 and got the car check in. the guy at the counter told him it was going to take about 1 to 1and half. He ask my boyfriend if he need it a shuttle my boyfriend said no since he work in Santa Barbara and shuttle wont take me to work so he told him the was going to wait. So after 2 1/2 hours waiting my boyfriend decide to go and ask what was going on specially after he notice our car was out side was not ever move in the shop. But other costumer and cars the came after us where done in and out fast. Lest remember they said first come first served, they guy at the counter say it was going to take 1 hour for our car to be ready.. my boyfriend ask why ? An extra hour after the 2 and half he was there. and also ask what happened to the first come first serve rule ? he let him know the he notice car come and go and we still park in the same spot our car was not even move. To what he reply: oh is because those cars had emergencies the need it to be done??????? Excuse me but since when a dealership is consider a emergency hospital? I mean is a car going in to shock because is losing fluids? Or is the car having a heart attack and the engine is going to stop? Please that did not cut it.
