Worse buying experience ever. Don't go there. Find a car you like, get the VIN and do a dealer trade. They will lie, cheat and steel.

Along with them is Gibson's Garage, top notch honest service and though they are a small business, they are among the best there is. As for Oxnard Mitsubishi, The vehicle I bought was said to belong to one of the managers wives. I find it quite impossible that there wasn't prior knowledge that the bottom end had been into and crankshaft bearings were replaced. The gaskets/ material was not a match either. Upon inspection it was revealed there were 3 different sized bearings used putting it back together. It was a only a matter of time until the bearings would fail. Dealership of course denied any knowledge of it. Reported to the B.A.R. Dealership not interested in hearing about it at any level. Decided to do an update and let it be known once again for buyers. Be very careful with this place. Honesty and willingness to make things right was not amongst the values that this business operates by. In a word "Shameful". Beware !

Now I get to go deal with the DMV. Thank you so much Jose Diaz for this recommendation. I will never take one from you again.

When I first started coming here, the service was excellent. Then it declined, improved somewhat, and lately it has continued to be hit-or-miss depending on who you work with. Recently, I brought my car in for a door lock issue and was fortunate to work with Dave Foley. Dave was exceptional. He was friendly, kind, caring, and easy to talk to. He never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable, and he genuinely made me feel confident leaving my car there. Customer service like that is hard to find. To be honest, if I had been assigned to someone less personable or attentive, I probably would have started going to the Mercedes dealership in Santa Barbara instead. Dave is truly the reason I am continuing to give this dealership a chance. Overall, I would rate the dealership itself around a 3-star because of the inconsistency, but Dave Foley absolutely deserves a 5-star rating for his professionalism and customer care.

This is a new vehicle I purchased from this dealership as a fleet vehicle for my plumbing company. Typically, this is routine service work, especially for a dealership representing the manufacturer. However, I was proven wrong. Initially, the service representative informed me that my brand-new fleet vehicle, was incorrectly displaying a service due date on the MBUX. He said it wasn't due until I reached 20k miles, but I've discovered he was mistaken. It was actually due at 10k miles because Mercedes used break-in fluids for my new motor, which was my Service A interval per Mercedes. They also supposedly inspected my brakes during my first visit and determined that the noise and grinding feeling was caused by rust and told me that the "brake pads looked good". However, during their test drive investigating my complaint about the brakes, making noise they somehow identified that my differential was defective and needed replacement under warranty. This was surprising because I hadn't noticed any issues with my rear end. Now, I needed to make an appointment to leave my work vehicle with the dealership for 2-3 days to have a new warranty rear end installed and no mention of my initial concerns with the service message and brake problems. This put me in a serious bind with my busy work schedule. I had to hand over my new van, which had less than 15k miles on it, to have my rear end replaced. I figured I would just bite the bullet and have my brake pads replaced, oil changed and coolant topped off during this warranty service appointment as well. That way, I wouldn't have to drive my work vehicle with brakes sounding like a trash truck and suffer any additional downtime in my work schedule with my plumbing van. A day after dropping off my van for these repairs, I received a phone call from my service advisor. He informed me that my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced because they were severely worn. Wow! Somehow, the supposed rusty brake problem that was misdiagnosed at my first visit had turned into me being right that my brake pads needed to be replaced when I first came in. As a consolation, I was told by my service advisor I should be happy that the rear end was shipped complete with new brakes, so I only had to pay $1250 for the front brake pads and rotors. However, I left the dealership with a very dissatisfied opinion of both Oxnard Mercedes and their service team because if my brake pads had been truly inspected at my first visit I wouldn't have had to pay for new rotors while I continued to drive my work vehicle until my scheduled drop off appointment. I had paid almost $2700 for my new sprinters service, including an oil change that was overdue by 6k miles, new front brake pads and rotors. It's been one week since I got my van back and tonight I found a puddle of brake fluid at my driver's side rear wheel covering my driveway. The leak was caused by a brake line attached to my new warranty rear end that was not tightened. I'm not a mechanic but as a plumber, I would like to think I am overqualified to diagnose a hose that was never tightened properly and this hose was not even hand tight. This leak could have caused property damage to my customers' driveways, where I park while servicing their homes and businesses, as well as my safety and the safety of others on the road. The risk of losing brake pressure while traveling to and from my daily stops as a plumbing contractor is a serious concern. I will be warning, my friends, family, and over 5000 plumbing customers to avoid having this dealership, perform any services to their vehicles. As a dealership providing vehicle service are you carefully monitoring your mechanics performance because they are the ones that are in control of your reputation. I fell like my vehicle was handled by a bad or inexperienced mechanic and now I am stuck only felling comfortable taking it to another Mercedes dealership to have it inspected for additional problems related to these services.

Unfortunately, the entire experience felt like a complete waste of time. Masood Zamani never even came out to introduce himself or properly evaluate my vehicle. Instead, he walked out of the office and yelled across the sales floor from the doorway, "Internet price is coming at $28,000," without even inspecting the car. The interaction lasted maybe 20 seconds total. He made absolutely no effort to engage, inspect the vehicle, or provide any level of professionalism or customer service. What made it even more embarrassing was the reaction from the employees nearby. Even they appeared shocked by how the situation was handled. If the dealership had no intention of actually evaluating my vehicle, then why ask me to bring it in? The entire experience came across as inconsiderate, unprofessional, and reflective of very poor business practices. Honestly, after this interaction, it's no surprise they currently hold a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau. Because of this experience, I will not be purchasing the new Honda Passport from DCH Honda of Oxnard, and I will absolutely be sharing my experience with friends and family. I expected professionalism and respect, and unfortunately received neither.

They had to do a dealer trade and got the exact vehicle she was looking for. Hyundai was offering an incenctive and incredible financing which made the purchase even better. Within a week the car started acting unusual and would enter into an energy conservation mode which limited the speed to 29 MPH. We reached out to the dealership and heard back from Katie Kemp, the General Manager and JJ Delgado, the Service Manager. They were both extremely curtious and helpful and they got the vehicle in to the shop. Nothing was showing up in the Onboard Diagnositic System (OBD) in terms of error codes so it was a challenge figuring out what was occurring. They enlisted the help of Hyundai who sent over technicians to assist with the diagnosis. It finally came down to a lose ground connection on one of the circuit boards in the vehicle. Although it took a bit of time the communication between us and the dealership was excellent and the problem was ultimately resolved. I can't say enough how impressed I was with the dealerships reponse to and ultimate resolution of a very frustrating situation. All of the people that we contacted at the dealership went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful to the entire staff at the dealership.
