I see a lot of reviews on the service department, where you take your cars into be serviced, but not really too many about the dealership itself. This will be a review of the dealership itself as we went to purchase a vehicle. We drove in without a salesman knowing we were coming or setting an appointment. We were greeted by someone and asked if we needed help and we're quickly set up with somebody to work with all of the employees we can't encountered. We're fine not super friendly though. It was hard to get anyone to smile back at you, meaning it didn't feel very welcoming. Once we sat down and discussed what exactly we were looking for the comparables we found at other dealerships, etc., and they realize that we were very serious about purchasing a car. Our salesman started to relax a little bit, warm up and be a little more friendly. Wood, that being said after we officially said yes to a car and went to sign our lives away, that gentleman we were dealing with was very friendly, very cheerful and very welcoming. The dealership itself was very spacious and clean and organized. They had a variety of vehicles to look at, and choose from. None of the salesman were pushy or overbearing, which is extremely refreshing and appreciated, just wish they were a little more welcoming and friendly when you walk in. Bought a brand new F150 from Ford under warranty, and it leaks water all over the inside of the car every time it rains. Took it into this service department to fix it, and they hastily cleaned the sunroof drain lines and claimed it was fixed. Now that the warranty is expired, it's still leaking every time it rains. Turns out its not the sunroof drain lines, exactly like I predicted. I asked them to do right by me and fix the issue since I brought in my car under warranty to fix this. They said the sunroof drain lines are squeaky clean so that's not the issue (I know that), and I'm going to have to "authorize the expenditure" to "tear the vehicle apart" to find the issue. Suddenly this is my expense to bear, and they want to be extra thorough now that its not under warranty. This is after swearing up and down to me that they fixed my leaky vehicle before. By the way, the dealership was PACKED with other Fords that leaked after the rain, including a friend of ours. I asked to speak with a manager and my service advisor said he can't find the manager anywhere. What a nightmare. I'm super disappointed in this experience. If they make it right I'll update this review. Otherwise please avoid this dealership. And be warned: F150's leak water when it rains. Just Google it. If you want to buy out your lease, go through a different dealership. Envision Ford adds on $3000 to the lease buyout price (without warning or explanation) and then says it's to pre-certify your car as a certified used vehicle. And since it's not listed as a separate add on charge and instead added to the buyout price of the car, it increases the sales tax and amount financed. It's not optional; if you decline the pre-certification they will refuse to sell you your car that you just leased from them for 3 years. When questioned about it, the general manager (son/relative of the owner?) rudely said, "this is a business, I have to make money somehow" and he has "employees to pay." I understand that, but I spoke with 3 other dealerships that do not have a mandatory charge of $3000, so I went to a different dealership to buy out my lease. This was disappointing as I've been a loyal customer to Vista/Envision Ford of Oxnard, buying (and servicing) my last 3 cars from them. They would have earned a lot more money from me as a happy customer in the long run, rather then the $3000 they choose to earn fraudulently. read more

FORD F-150: FOURTH ONE IN MY LIFE, AND IT'S FALLING APART I've owned four Ford F-150s. This is my fourth. And within the first week, I could tell this one wasn't built the same as my previous model. The tailgate especially looked like it was assembled in my garage. Six months in, I have eight of ten plastic screws missing from the tailgate and one rubber stopper gone. This is a brand new truck with 10,000 miles on it. I called the salesman, Ali at Envision Ford. He was less than helpful--told me to call service. Service told me to call him. The typical runaround. I happened to be near the dealership, so I drove there. The salesman was literally drinking his coffee when he told me, "I have no idea. I've never seen this before. I don't even know if this is a warranty issue." Let me be clear: I'm at the dealership. I'm his client from six months ago. I just bought a brand new truck from him that's falling apart. And he doesn't know if a manufacturing defect on a new vehicle is covered under warranty? His job is to know that. He couldn't figure it out. I didn't really respond because I was too angry. Instead, he told me to call Ford directly. Thirty minutes on the phone with Ford. I explained everything. I explained my frustration. The lady on the other end made it crystal clear: she doesn't care. Ford doesn't care. Then, after I've already wasted thirty minutes and she's on my last nerve, she asks me: "What do you want to have done?" What do I want? I'm not stupid, and dealing with stupid people asking stupid questions blows my mind. So I asked her back: "If this was your truck, brand new, and this was happening, what would you want to do?" She rudely turned it back on me: "I'm asking you, sir." I hung up. I've got an attorney. I know what the lemon laws are, and that's exactly what I'm pursuing. Just had my 2017 supercharged F150 serviced at Envision. If you know anything about Ford Dealership service departments they're not all the same. When you have a specialty Ford product then the right dealership really becomes a challenge. Envision Ford service department took care of me and did an amazing j. My salesperson, JT, was responsive and attentive. Everything else along the way was awful. Thomas, the UCM, was unhelpful, slow to respond, and couldn't care less about customer service. They also add something called "Surface Protectant" that they charge $1500 for. We got that money taken off, but that essentially took away from any other money we could negotiate off. In other words, they forced a fee that is extremely profitable for them and used it to negotiate in their favor. We purchased on a Saturday and said we could use our credit union. They wanted us to use the same credit union through their credit system (CUDL). Since it was the same rate, I didn't mind. However, the process took 6 days to close because we did it through their system. Their finance person was in no rush to process the paper work, and the overnight delivery (two ways) for wet signatures took even more time. The finance person also lied to me about the registration date in order to sell gap insurance. She took the registration fee off the loan to make the gap insurance seem cheaper, then told me registration wasn't due until April of 2026. It is due next month (August 2025). The car was delivered to me since we purchased it online. We were scheduled for a delivery on Saturday between 12:00-2:30 pm. I was out of town so my wife stayed home for it. She ended up having the cancel dinner plans because it still hadn't shown up. By 10pm we were told the car was still in southern CA. No response from the manager until then. We ended up contacting the delivery driver and he said the manager had told him the car was a next-day delivery. We got the car Sunday, instead. The driver brought me one car key. I called the dealership and it was only then that I was told it only came with one key. While I didn't explicitly ask about keys, I did ask if the car was in good shape and if there was anything I should know. Programming a new key will be in the neighborhood of $500, plus my time. Plus more out of pocket expenses for needing to pay registration much sooner. Pending advice from some consumer advocate organizations, I am unsure what my next steps are. They charged me $231.00 and gave me my car back. I drove home, lifted the hood and saw that my car engine was sabotaged. I don't know how I made it home. I called and spoke to Jose the service manager and demanded they refund my diagnostic fee after returning my car in an unsafe driving condition. THIS WAS NOT ACCIDENTAL! They removed the water cap to my radiator reservoir and did not put it back. They removed the air filter and disassembled it and did not put it back. I found the screws on the side. I'm taking the car to another mechanic on Tuesday to have them figure out what else Ford did to damage my car. I need help! What can I do! I am terrified they damaged my car! I had a disappointing experience at envision Ford Oxnard. They initially offered a certain warranty under the contract, but when the time came for them to honor those they claim under the contract, failed to honor their promise. Additionally, they showed me that there is a gap insurance under the contract. They even told me the payment amount that goes to the gap insurance but when I had a total loss, they said oh no, it's not on the contract. They again fell to honor their promises. They will tell you anything and everything that only you can buy the car but when the time comes for them to honor those promises, they failed to honor it. I took my Ranger in for a 60,000 mile servicing and left with a big bill, an oil change that I specifically asked not to have done because I had just changed the oil myself, oily/dirty windshield and a stripped oil pan plug that required getting a new one installed somewhere else. They told me I could just walk away from my old lease after I had signed a new lease and there'd be no repercussions. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this dealership. I informed the finance department multiple times, both during my visit and before I left, that this vehicle would be used commercially and that the paperwork needed to be submitted to the DMV as soon as possible. When I purchased the vehicle, the finance department told me that the loan would clear in a few days and that they would submit the documents to the DMV immediately afterward. They assured me the process would move quickly. However, I was just notified that the paperwork was not submitted until yesterday, which is 16 days after the purchase date. I made it very clear at the time of purchase that timely filing was essential for commercial use. Took my Wife's 2022 Maverick in for recall work related to the airbag. They left greasy fingerprints on the headliner and never really fixed the issue. When we returned to complain and ask them to correct the problem, there had been a "change in computer systems" and they lost our records so we had no work history on file. We went back for further recall work and they always had problems with parts not in stock. They never seemed to be able to bring up past records of work or complaints we made. Never a call back to follow up when you have questions or problems. We also noticed every time we had gone to the service department, there was a new Manager in charge. So there was never any consistent leadership. We finally took the truck to Perry Ford in Santa Barbara and had our issues fixed in a day. I will no longer do business with this dealership. I will go to Santa Barbara for any and all work in the future. I recommend you all do the same. read more

I would leave a negative review if possible. I purchased a vehicle from Envision Ford Oxnard in November of 2024. When I bought the vehicle, I also purchased the extended warranty that gave me free services at each 10,000 mile interval, and the ford premium maintenance package. In the past year I have taken my car to my local dealer three times for service. Each time they informed me that those packages were not reflected in my Ford Profile. Oddly enough, they are reflected in my monthly payment. Each time my local dealer brought this issue to my attention I called Envision Ford of Oxnard and spoke to them about the issue. Each time they apologized and assured me the issue was rectified. Imagine my surprise when I took my vehicle in for its 40,000 miles service (well short of the 72,804 mile limit) and was told I was NOT covered, and there was no record of these packages. The $478 charge I incurred was SOLELY as a result of Envision Ford of Oxnard's blatant failure to abide by settled contract law and from reading these reviews it sounds like I'm not the only one who has fallen victim to their lust for unjust enrichment. BUT WAIT, it gets better. I financed my vehicle through my local credit union -which gave me a much better rate than Envision Ford of Oxnard-. My credit union sent Envision Ford the check for the vehicle Friday, November 15, 2024. So imagine my surprise when I got a letter in the mail from Ford credit telling me my monthly payment was due. I called Ford credit directly, and they told me they had never received payment. Which is crazy, because my credit union was able to send me proof the check was cashed on November 22, 2024. Envision Ford Oxnard took my money, and happily left me with a second auto loan they opened and WOULD NOT HAVE BOTHERED TO CLOSE if I hadn't called them. Found out my vehicle was done when the Rental/Loner person told me to bring the loaner back because I put too many miles on it, came in and she told me that vehicle was ready. But my Service Advisor, Grant, was nowhere to be found and never communicated any status whatsoever. The Service Manager did my paperwork in the end, after having my vehicle a full month. Now Grant has called me back, telling the service tech made a documentation mistake and that I must return. Grant demanded I return on a specific day, even when I told him that day is inconvenient. Had to re-arrange Jury Duty and other things to accommodate this Dealer's *demands* on my time. Once again, Grant is ignoring me and I have no idea when I can get my vehicle back. Hope this dealer is ready for me to report my vehicle stolen and file a lawsuit against them for the full cost of the vehicle. A little communication goes a long way toward happy customers. Just talked personally to the GM at the Dealership since none of the people that I emailed replied to me. Despite the sales pitch about added value, I later experienced a complete AC compressor failure shortly after the visit--something that absolutely should have been caught during the multi-point inspection they claimed to perform. I tried calling the service manager multiple times and left messages, but never received a return call. The lack of communication is completely unprofessional. On top of that, no one has offered me a refund or even acknowledged that I was charged for a service that was clearly unnecessary and failed to detect a major mechanical issue. What's more frustrating is that I've already paid for a premium maintenance plan, so I should not have even been upsold in the first place. This experience reflects poor service integrity, lack of accountability, and unacceptable customer support. Well where do I start? Never ever buy a vehicle from this place. I found a used 2022 Ford Explorer and we are so far happy with it. I bought it because my wife and I owned a 2018 GMC Yukon with only 107,000 miles on it and we needed to down size because my wife lost part of her vision in her right eye and we needed to downsize to something smaller for her to drive. Anyhow Armando the sales manager and Sam lied to me about the trade in saying the following about the Carfax report on the Yukon. It was rear ended twice and that I was the 3rd owner and because of there integrity that they do not sell cars that were owned with 2 plus owners.
