I had a plumbing issue Saturday 11/20/18, called quite a few 24 hour plumbing companys that weren't really 24 hour. Many of these companies if they would come out there was a fee and then an additional charge for the job. Team Rooter had a flat fee that included what ever was needed for the fix. Junior and Anthony came out 10:00 p.m. and stayed until 11:30 to get my toilets at least usable. The next day (Sunday) they came out with a jet rooter and were able to clear the line. In doing it was discovered that the 54 year old cast iron pipe had partially fallen, and it had to be fixed. Junior and Anthony performed fast efficient and courteous service. Team rooter saved the day for us Twice! Our house is very old and we have never had the house repiped and in 40 plus years of living here we had never had any major issues... so it was only a matter of time. They had a fair competitive price and explained clearly what needed to be done and an estimated time of completion. Our first problem was an issue of our entire house backing up, no flushing toilets or draining sinks or showers. Even our laundry room, which is detached from the house was flooded. We ended up having to have almost our entire lawn pulled up. The roots where suffocating the pipes which caused the back up. It was a two day job and it looks as if the lawn was never touched. The second issue came most recently... 4 months after the first issue. This was on the opposite side of the house/lawn. We had no pressure and a leak near the outside watering source. The pipes were rotted from age and there was also an issue from the water main at the end of our property. The guys were back out pretty quickly after contacting the company. After I made this review, I got a text message from the owner at 11pm! With threats and saying he had a recording of me, I am assuming he knows I have a female voice and not my husband who is the one who would be on the recording for this issue. (my husband called about this issue on Wednesday 6/19/20, so please look for a recording *of a male* if you have it or find the person who was taking calls then and ask them, because the conversation below is true and they should remember.) He is threatening to report me if I don't remove. So very inappropriate to be messaging me like this to my text number and at this time. I have asked him politely to stop messaging me. I feel threatened. Again, a warning, that they won't fix this in an appropriate way. He said he would like to get to the bottom of this and speak to my husband. My husband will call tomorrow. I will amend the review if we can work this out, but they should have fixed it when we called the other day, we already had it fixed by a different plumber. I am not writing this for a refund, or a fix. I am finding the response by the owner, wholly inappropriate. Original post below: I am another who can't believe this company has 5 stars. WARNING THEIR WORK IS NOT GUARANTEED, NOT EVEN FOR 90 DAYS! We called twice. The first time, it was great, the plumber came out charged what we expected everything went smoothly. They told us if they had to unclog from the inside it would be $95 instead of $45 okay, fine, so we paid the extra. The plumber undid the drain pipes underneath the sink to clear the clog, he did tell us he was adding a piece of pipe to make the job easier, he had it in his truck and wouldn't charge extra our sink is in a very tight spot, so we understood. At first, all was good. Not 2 months later, two of the drain pipes underneath (connected by the *extra* piece) came completely loose and fell downward. Draining all of the outgoing water from the sink underneath the cabinets. We called them hoping they would fix the issue under warranty. I can't imagine that it would cost us anything, as the pipes weren't broken or anything! The PVC connections had popped open, that was it! How could it have been anything else, but the previous work, there was no clog, we didn't plunge or anything, it was under the garbage disposal, so how would that be touched by anything anyway?! We did not change or touch anything under the sink. Why would this just happen?! (A side note: The new plumber that fixed it, says the weight of the PVC pipe (sink trap?) was inserted at a bad angle with the *extra* piping and forced in so the pressure would make it pop off eventually, he couldn't put it back in as it was, it needed to be re-done ,he added some pipe) We texted and asked for the original plumber to come out, because when he saw his own work, he wouldn't deny it was the problem. He specifically seemed like a nice guy. They wouldn't connect us. They gave a ridiculous estimate. My husband argued that this was not right. They said they would look at it,it would cost us $65 to come out and we could go from there. They said, they couldn't be sure that we didn't make any changes between the repair and now. Are you kidding me? Is that what you say every time so you don't have to fix errors? They said they needed our credit card number before they would come out. At this point I stopped trusting them, no credit card number was required the first time and the website says free estimates. The person on the phone was speaking over my husband, arguing with him and not listening. (eta, please see the recording of my husband's call if you have, it should all be there, you should also hear my husband state I changed my mind and didn't trust them anymore.) Were we being punished because there was a problem? We thought once they saw the issue they would realize it was nothing we had done, but an error by the repairman. Which was okay, we jut wanted it fixed! It looked like a very easy fix, I was willing to pay the $65 for them to come out! We would give them our credit card when they gave us the estimate in person and pay before the work was done. This is how you treat a customer who has come back for your help?? Forget it. We called a different plumber who came out, on a free estimate and replaced the sink trap in place and added pvc under the sink for $125. The new plumber actually promised, the work is guaranteed, no questions and it is in writing. THAT is good customer service. Find a different plumber just in case something goes wrong, Team Rooter will blame it on you without even coming out to look at it. If I could give a higher rating I would. I do most of my own work but when I encountered a main line plug; I knew I needed a professional. I had used a local plumber I used years ago and he was great but he retired. Last plumber I sued from one of those "bigger companies" actually was involved with a class action lawsuit for ripping people off....so this time I chose to dig a little deeper before I placed a call. Team Rooter had great reviews and the price for clearing a main line blockage (for first time customer) was the best price I could find. From the time I made the initial call to the completion of the work; Team Rooter was so professional and kept me in constant communication. I actually think there may have been a little too much communication... Email, text messages and follow-up phone calls.... Even sent me a message with a photo of the technician that would be arriving. Ruben arrive on time. He was neat / clean in appearance and friendly. We looked at the issue. He cleared the main drain and went on his way. They only charged me what they advertised and there were no attempts to tell me there were other things wrong. No attempts to up-sale me to other services or preventative services... simply just did what they said they would do at the price they quoted. I highly recommend Team Rooter Plumbing. We had our toilet and shower clogged on Saturday night and we had to call several plumbing company but their technicians were all not available. Well well well..let me start of by saying what a first class company. From the time I called till the time the technician arrived was a little over an hour just like I was told. Now for the best part the tech ( Frank O.) arrived and was in a beautiful clean snow white van type truck that matched his personal appearance impeccable. First impressions are huge for me. He was the nicest man and so knowledgable about what the problem was with our washing machine drain. It's been stopped up on and off for years. Ok, so my husband and I were ripping out a tree in our front yard but the thing had its roots wrapped around one of our long copper pipes and so when the tree finally gave, so did the pipe. It tore the piece attached to the hose bib completely off. We called BWP and had them shut it off, we then contacted a plumbing company. The next day the initial company quoted us at $1800!! We asked if they could move the pipe back so it would be sturdier, they said no. We asked if they could reinforce the pipe, they said no. So we called another company and they wanted to charge us $90 just to come give us a quote. Finally (and thankfully!) we called Team Rooter. They had a plumber out to us in less than an hour. The plumber, Carlos G., introduced himself, and then looked at our busted pipe. He went back to his truck to crunch the numbers and came back with a quote of $325 out the door. We couldn't say yes fast enough, he called us over to the pipe itself and said "ok, so what I think you should do is move this pipe back about 2ft closer to the house so it's sturdier and I can use the old pipe to reinforce the new fixture." He was amazing, he fixed the pipe really quickly and then waited around for BWP to show up to turn the water back on and then thoroughly checked everything. He also managed to find (under a giant pile of leaves and debris) our shut off valve so if we ever have any problems in the future, we can shut the water off ourselves. Overall, I cannot thank Team Rooter enough, literally charged us a fraction of what the other guys quoted and then sent a very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and professional plumber to do the job. I had a sewer line re-lining job done by TR and probably could have shopped it and maybe gotten a better price but their price was a fair/average one and I'm happy with their response time. I've had roots clogging the main line for years now and have been avoiding this job hoping I could just keep taking care of it with hydrojetting every year but this time they were too clogged. They replaced a section of the pipe/line and installed a clean out more accessible than where the existing one was too. About 20' of line, cutting through concrete, installing the new clean out, and then clearing the lines in the house where there was apparently some back flow blockage caused by that debris ran me $7300. They did the work in a very timely manner. Clearing of one of the lines in the house took some work after the main job. They tried a snake, then a jetter, then they had to bring out their best/strongest hydrojet to get it flowing (3 guys sent to the location). But, they did that all one after the other, kept in touch via text with me the entire time --and during the whole process-- and were where and when they said they'd be every time (really important with plumbing blockage issues as you want things flowing and not backed up). As far as the work done, it remains to be seen but there's a five year warranty on the clean out and 20 year warranty with that lining. read more

I had a backed up drain problem in the kitchen. . The gentleman came out and tried to unblock my drain. The first thing he up sold me from 44 dollars to 99 dollars even though I had removed all the pipes under the sink. I was stuck so I agreed. The second thing the equipment he brought in was too small to do any thing. He called his supervisor and said he could not unblock the drain. The next price was $2200 because he had to break up my wall to fix the problem. But he would give me. 20% discount because I was a senior. I said no. The next thing I did was to call a plumber. The plumber brought the right equipment and in 10 minutes he cleared the blockage. It is a shame how the up sale and deceit on a senior. If I had not known better I would have been taken for a lot of money. The supervisor talk to me. He should have came out himself and tried to unblock it. But I guess they work on commission. Terrible bunch crooks. Adverts $44 online and over the phone for unclogging drains. Sent over a technician (Jovany) and was quoted $150, the ole bait and switch. He ran the snake through the toilet to dislodge the debris from the toilet, but did not ran it all the way through to main line. This made it flush a few time, but will eventually back up again. Tried calling them again and see if they will fix the problem, this is around 6:30pm. No answer from them, even though they claim to provide 24/7 services. The next morning finally got a call from them. Talked to the technician that performed the worked. Told him the situation and his excuses was the combination of using too much toilet papers and outdated toilet was the cause of the problem. He suggested that we should buy a new toilet. Wtf?!?! Seriously? Instead of compensating by offering to come back and fix the problems that we paid you to do, which wasn't cheap, you wanted us to buy a new toilet?!?! Omg So had to called another plumber, by the way only charged half the price, to get it fixed properly. I will never ever use this company again and will not ever recommend them to anyone. read more

I had a drain backup in my 60 year old house that I figured (hoped) was on my mainline. Cloyd came out and carefully diagnosed the problem before he started using his auger on my outdoor clean out.
