Thankfully, while we were on our way to buy the part, Mr. Veraj called us to let us know we actually only needed a simple connector which cost us less than $25 instead. He then lowered the cost of his labor he'd quoted since it would be a simpler fix as well. He was very friendly, helpful and fair. We would definitely recommend him to friends and family. The shop is also conveniently located just a block from downtown Fullerton. Lots of parking and space for the tow truck to drop off a vehicle.

They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it.
