I recently visited Teas'n You in Vienna for the first time. The 2 employees working were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that they took the time to answer my questions and make recommendations without being pushy. My only concern was the overall condition of the store. There seemed to be quite a bit of wear and tear throughout the space, and some areas felt like they could use a deeper cleaning and updating. The customer service was definitely the highlight of my visit, but improving the appearance and upkeep of the store would make for a much better overall experience. I would return because of the helpful staff and hope to see some improvements in the future.
Teas'n You has a lot of great menu items and I think it all comes down to preference of what kind of drinks you like but they are a solid tea/coffee/food spot in McLean. Horchata Matcha is one of my favorite drinks to get here and I always recommend this drink to a matcha lover. I also recommend the basil popcorn chicken and garlic parmesan fries.
Used to think this place was amazing a long time ago solely for drinks, but I feel as if recently, especially with new additions to menus, the quality of the drinks just hasn't been the same for me personally. Have visited recently a few times and have ordered their coffees and milk teas, but they seem to have less flavour/taste more watery now. The foams don't really add much for me either and aren't that flavourful. Perhaps I will finally try their sweet food options, since I've never really tried them before and they seem to be doing well here.

So I realized it's been over seven years since my first review - I'm happy to report that Teas N' You is still going strong and has expanded their menu! The very tasty popcorn chicken remains on the menu as a favorite, along with Taiwanese chicken sandwiches and tasty fusion pastries (the egg tarts, Portuguese style, are fantastic). Service is quick, friendly and efficient. While we tend to do pick up, the dining area is warm and friendly: a great place to hang out with friends or to study. Great vibes!
Sooo surprised that their matcha latte was too milky and powdery. I was expecting much better since I love their strawberry matcha but I guess the strawberry overpowers it. Their matcha alone was not good. So sad to find that. I got a BOGO and honestly didn't drink the second one.
I can't believe I've been sleeping on Taiwanese chicken sandwiches for this long. I typically have their basil popcorn which is also top tier, so juicy and crispy which is also reflected in their sandwich. This sandwich comes out piping hot and is hands down one of the juiciest yet crispiest chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The sauce paired with the fresh cucumber is so good, the sandwich was literally dripping as I ate it--in the best way possible. You can tell it's made to order, so be prepared to wait a little bit--but it's absolutely worth it. Truly restaurant-quality food. Definitely worth the prices. I've frequented this place over the past year and can confidently say all of their teas are quali-tea as well. This was my first time trying their coffee though, and wow, I was missing out. It was so smooth, not overly sweet, and featured really fun Asian-inspired flavors. The ube was so good that I already plan on coming back later this week to try their pandan flavors. The seating and ambiance are really nice too. There are cute window-side seats perfect for groups of two, as well as tables that work for larger groups. It can get busy at times, and while they do have outdoor seating, it's a bit too cold to enjoy that during the winter. Overall, this spot is high-quality Asian fusion done at its finest. Everything feels thoughtful, well-executed, and consistently delicious. Definitely a go-to from now on.
Great bubble tea and garlic parmesan fries! The menu has expanded over the years with cupcakes, brownies, and croissants! The teas are a bit on the sweeter side and I get them usually at 25% sweetness. The Matcha Rose Tea and Matcha Strawberry Dalgona Tea are perfect at 25% sweetness. I enjoy the milk Ube tea at 50% sweetness. I enjoyed the scrumptious and flavorful Spinach and Feta Croissant. The Ube and Pandan Croissants looked pretty tempting - next time! The Macaroons and Cream Puffs have been replaced with Cupcakes, Donuts, and Tiramisu Brownie. The Brownie was a bit dense and the Pandan Cupcake had a subtle whipped cream with a spongy brioche cake. The Donuts have a nice whipped filling - I enjoyed the Tiramisu, Ube, Pandan, and Cocolove Donuts. The Garlic Parmesan Fries are a must! I love the battered fries with diced garlic, thyme, and parmesan cheese. The combination works well together and really elevates the flavor of the fries. The creamy Basil Pesto is my favorite dipping sauce! While the Sesame sauce doesn't pair that well with the fries, it's the best salad dressing and order a side of it.
I work nearby so I usually come here on my break or after my shift to sit back and drink a Thai Tea. This is my own subjective opinion but this place has a lot of potential. I've mainly surrounded myself around west coast boba tea shops in the heart of chinatowns and so maybe my expectations are high. But I really do enjoy the tea and food here. Every worker that I've interacted with are most especially helpful and kind and the inside is cozy enough for me to sit down a bit and rest my legs after a long shift. If there was one thing I could critique I guess it would be the taste of the popcorn chicken. Maybe I'm too accustomed to the west coast popcorn chicken but the garlic taste here is amazing, but without an ample amount of salt I've found myself relying mainly on the sauce. But overall, I'm happy to be a frequent customer here.
This is a really cute tea. House to get work done. A classic Asian workspace. It's very clean and open area space. That being said, I've never been wowed by their drinks, but I do appreciate that they have a wide variety of different drinks for you to try every single time you're there. They continuously add more items and they might bring back seasonal items as well. They're more of a jack of all trades kind of tea house local boba / specialty drink spot. No one drink really stands out to me and I honestly don't recommend their Matcha because it has too much going on. That being said I haven't tried their supreme matcha, which is very similar in name to Hey Tea's matcha offerings. This time I got their pandan thai tea but the problem is that you can't really taste much of a coconut pandan flavor. To be fair, pandan is more of a sweet flavor than anything, and the drink IS sweet, even at 75%. It's quite pretty and is a cool drink to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I believe that the tiramisu brownie is a staple for them, so I wanted to get that. Again, very sweet, but it is counteracted slightly by the coffee flavor of the dessert. It's quite rich! Overall, the staff is great and they work efficiently. The decor is really nice and it's a perfect place to study and get work done.
Had to stop by and get tea and some treats when I was n the area. Definitely did not disappoint. Hoji latte with pandan cold foam was excellent it had great balance of sweat and richness of the milk with foam. I usually get it iced just by preference. I got two cookies 1 ube and 1 red velvet. They both are excellent but the ube is so tasty sweet and well balanced. It was super soft. The red velvet is really good too. It has a cookie baked into the center. Service It was very busy but servers were really nice. I got through online ordering the time it gives you on the app was pretty inaccurate. It said 40 minutes but I got the update it was ready in 15 mins. Honestly, not big deal just want people to know. Inside it has a great coffee house vibe. It was very busy when I was in there but it was Sunday so probably busier then usual. Cannot wait to go back and try again.
The menu has a lot of creative options beyond your typical boba spot. The drink selection is fun and unique. I love the pistachio milk tea and can't go wrong with ube cream cold brew for a pick me up. Love munching on the garlic parmesan fries and popcorn chicken. The donuts have have whipped filling such as Tiramisu, Ube, and. Pandan. Perfect for catching up with friends or just having a solo tea break. It can get pretty loud during peak times. Decent indoor and outdoor seating.
I love their egg tart and their horchata matcha latte!! I always make a trip out to teas' n you whenever I'm in the VA area.

I had the pleasure of visiting this place twice! The first time I visited was when they had just opened and tried their Basil Popcorn chicken...it was sooo good that I ordered a second one lol! It is so delicious and flavorful. The 2nd time I went was to redeem a free desert for the Elite Perk: Free Goodie @ Teas'n You Fusion Tea House. It was a choice between a cream puff OR mochi muffin OR infinity drink. I choose the cream puff with boba! So I arrived to pick up my box and loved how it was packaged! I opened it and it was bigger than what I was expecting! The flavor was sooo good and delicious and since I love boba it was perfect! I love the creamy texture as well, it wasn't too sweet which I like, I am glad I was able to experience this delicious desert! They are located right off Route 7 and they have plenty of surface parking available. They also have a free rewards program, make sure to join if you have not done so already! read more
Great service first of all & efficient order taking through kiosk/iPad station. Food came out hot and fresh.... made to order so it took a little time. We tried the Taiwanese chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken, garlic fries and downed them with customized not too sweet fruit tea. Both the popcorn chicken & chicken sandwich had the same basil flavor with star anise spice, fried hot & still juicy. There were some sauces (sweet chili & basil sauces that were good). The garlic fries were the star of the show. Lots of chopped garlic on the freshly fried sticks of potato. Delicious. Again, loved the service first and food second. read more

Large selection of boba drinks. I got four cream puffs for the discount around $21. The cream puffs had good filling (green tea, Ube, and strawberry) but the pastry itself is a bit strange and looked burnt but wasn't. Suggest ordering from the kiosk if you don't want to feel pressured to tip. Chill shop but not a place for intimate conversations. read more

I stopped here on a road trip on the way to Richmond and I'm so glad I did. This boba is BOMB- a lot better than others places I've tried! I ended up getting the fusion fruit tea which was a mix of passion fruit lychee and strawberry. I really liked the bits of lychee jelly and strawberry. Awesome texture. I think i did 50% sugar and it was perfect. Tip: you get to sample the specialty teas because the tea itself is already premade, so definitely try some to find a favorite. read more

So confused as to why this place has so many good reviews. Drinks are so inconsistent. But my bone to pick is the PASTRIES! The cream puffs are like soooo not good. First off, they're filled in a way that's stingy af. Like other reviewers, exterior of the cream puff is very dark and the dough eats tough and dry. Plus they're $5.95 each! Seriously? At least taste good. I tried matcha, ube, and strawberry. Not worth it at all. Portuguese tarts were okay. Cookies were dense and hard to bite through. Mochi muffins were flat and made you question why they even bother selling them. Overall, a place you'd never come back to after you visit the first time. Next time you visit, look at the display case itself when you walk in the door. The pastries look so sad and lifeless. Can't believe they will charge the amount their asking for such subpar desserts. read more

We ordered the fusion fruit tea, and we were able to able to taste test it before we ordered which was great! We thought it was delicious, and so we ordered it with less sugar. They told us that what they gave us to sample was 100% sweet, meaning they pre-make their drinks and then dilute with water (or hopefully tea lol). The boba was also really warm, tasty, and chewy! read more
Decided to take advantage of the warm weather and stop by for some boba! Ordered the pistachio milk tea with boba and it was lightly sweet with a hint of pistachio. The boba was chewy and tasty. Teasn You is probably my favorite business name in the entire DMV... so clever and cute. Me to me: why did I not think of it first? lol As evident by the 1k plus reviews, this place is surely worth a visit. Instead of focusing on the obvious boba, I wanted to phone in about their cream puffs. If you're not a huge sweets person, but still crave a post-meal dessert, their cream puffs are just the right size and hint of sweet to satisfy that itch. For $6 a piece, you get a palm-sized puff that is served cold/room temp, stuffed with plenty of flavorful filling. They've got Asian-inspired flavors like ube, plus carry seasonal fall flavors like earl grey and pumpkin spice currently. I couldn't finish mine in one sitting, so I placed it in the fridge for safekeeping until the next day. Great news: it held up perfectly Bad news: I wish I had more than the half left read more

Oh man- the space is SO pretty and aesthetic. I really wanted to love it here- especially since it's so close to my house. Unfortunately, I've had many drinks and desserts here and I only liked the horchata matcha and their savory snacks/chicken sandwich. Their horchata matcha with pudding was perfectly sweet and flavorful. Their garlic parmesan fries and popcorn chicken are also super flavorful and fresh! I've had several of their drinks, and most are sadly extremely diluted in flavor, even though they sound aesthetic. Among their sweets, I've had their bubble tea cream puff, which I think is way too sweet. Their filling is also kind of grainy, which I wasn't a huge fan of. Split between the four of us, the portions were massive but we couldn't/didn't want to finish. Would come back for their savory foods and horchata matcha but would probably not try their other menu items again. read more
We came from out of town and wanted good bubble tea! It's a really great tea shop and super cute. It does get full, so parking may be scarce. There aren't many tables inside, some outside, and limited parking spaces outside. The atmosphere is chill and decorations are very cute. I got the Horchata Matcha Milk the first time and loved it! They did get my order wrong, but we're very willing to fix it, thank you! It was so good, I recommend this one, if you like milk based drinks and matcha! I got the Mango Tango the second time and that was also delicious! It was fresh and refreshing! I recommend this one if you like mango and non-milk based drinks. We didn't try their food, but they all looked pretty good. I recommend this place for a casual date, good drinks, family outing, or dessert after a meal! They have WiFi, bathrooms, and a rewards program. Definitely will come back when I'm in town. read more

This place is ADORABLE! The menu is small and streamlined. You order through a Toast touchscreen device. If you order tea you can select the level of sweetness which I liked. The have a small selection of pastries and teas, and I think 2-3 savory options. The inside is clean, there are a few games in a corner you can pull out and play with friends. I went right before closing on a weekday, so it was empty except my small group. But it seems like it gets a lot of business during the day. read more
This place is usually really busy. Friendly staff and this place is really clean. In the evenings you see a lot of teenagers and younger hanging out. Which is good to see a safe comfortable environment for them. It's also cute seeing these kids on dates. The have dairy free options and tons of samples. Parking can be tough. They have limited food options which look really good. They have happy hour specials on drinks and food. My only reservation is significant amount of single use packaging. Yes, the wife and I Shared and order. But would like to see bring your own mug option if possible. read more
It was my first time at Teas'n You and I really enjoyed the food! I love Taiwanese chicken so I got the Taiwanese fried chicken sandwich and I also got the garlic fries. The sandwich was really good. The chicken tasted just like the smaller Taiwanese popcorn chicken but in a sandwich form and the sauce inside the sandwich was really good too. There was plenty of pickle/cucumber inside (more than two tiny pickles you get when you order popeyes chicken sandwich) and very flavorful overall. The garlic scent/taste was STRONG for the garlic fries but I loved it because I love garlic. If you don't love garlic as much it might be a little too strong for you. I would love to come back for both the Taiwanese chicken sandwich and the garlic fries! read more
My cousin raved about this place and brought us a few cream puffs to try. First, I was taken aback by the size of one cream puff. It's easily shareable! We tried the strawberry and ube. While the ube was good, we all liked the strawberry more, which is another surprise. However, it might be because the ube cream puff was a little overcooked/burnt. I loved how much filling was in it, which is not pictured because it was quite messy once we cut it open! We also had some popcorn chicken, which was legit. This seems like a great spot for a sweet treat after dinner or just stopping by for drinks and a snack. read more
Let me just start by saying the popcorn chicken here is BOMB. (literally--the spicy powder will set off a bomb in your mouth and you won't be able to stop coughing. nevertheless, it is delicious...I digress). It is tender, piping hot, and honestly I don't even use the sauces on them--but the sesame sauce is YUM. I ask for the spice on the side and sprinkle a little on each piece of chicken, but like I said, BE CAREFUL it WILL send you into a coughing fit if you don't eat it right. As for the drinks, I've had a ton of things off the menu, and they're consistently pretty good. I particularly enjoy their thai teas, espeically the green thai tea. They have a wide array of toppings as well but I try to avoid the boba because health and I always ask for less ice and less sugar since their drinks are a little too sweet and also because health. I always try to stop by here whenever I head towards Tyson's Corner, which is only a few minutes away. They offer some unique specialty bubble tea flavors like Flower Bomb (Chrysanthemum tea) and Caramel Green Tea Macchiato, both of which are pretty good. My personal go-to is the Pistachio milk tea, which I've never seen at any other bubble tea store. Also, remember to check-in to Yelp to get your free bubble tea topping! Like most bubble tea stores these days, you can customize the sugar/ice levels and they have a nice selection of board games to play too. Seating can be difficult especially for large groups, but for small groups I've usually been able to get a table after hovering around for a little. Lastly, my friend bought me a set of macaroons for my birthday and they were delicious-- perfectly soft and chewy cookies with great fillings, one of the best I've had in the DMV area. read more

This was my first time trying teas'n you! I've heard lots of great things about this friend (especially their taiwanese popcorn chicken and cream puff!). I was craving dessert after my meal so I went to check out this place. I ended up getting ube (like purple yam) cream puff and strawberry cream puff (seasonal!). First, I've tried cream puffs from different places such as bibble & sip (in nyc Chinatown) and beard papa (in falls church but they closed down). I love cream puffs with special, authentic flavors such as black sesame, ube, early grey, milk tea in general so I decided to get ube and strawberry (only because it was seasonal haha). I think cream puffs from here surpasses those from other places I've been. Cream puff is each $6 (lil pricy) but the size is humongous (prob 2-3ppl can share one when they order drinks)! Also, the cream inside the puff is so full and fluffy. Also, Both were not too sweet (which is what I really liked about; adults would enjoy this too). This would be so good with iced americano or latte :') I personally liked ube cream puff better just because I like tea-like flavors but strawberry was really good too (my friend liked it more than ube!) now I'm excited to try milk tea flavors on my next visit. Since I found this place, I don't need to go all the way to nyc :')) This would be a perfect place to hit up after shopping at Tyson's corner! read more
Some friends and I met together for lunch here and were pleasantly surprised that they had added so many food options since the last time we were here. The ordering kiosks were a stroke of genius in my opinion, and they were clean too despite the amount of traffic coming through. The mobile order pickup area was neat and we'll organized from what we could tell which was nice because it streamlined some of the traffic in and out well. The staff were all super nice and friendly and cranked out orders left and right. I loved the decorations and vibe here too (but forgot to get a pic ). I had gotten the extra spicy basil chicken and horchata matcha, a friend the chicken sandwich combo and early grey puff pastry, and our other friend the parmesan fries. The food was sent out to us fresh, hot and we'll packaged. Loved it and can't wait to come back! read more
Really cute tea area close to tysons mall! I like how the menu selection isnt that big, so that its easier to pick what drinks to try! I got the flower bomb tea with 50% sweetness and no toppings. When I first tried it, the tea reminded of chrysanthemum tea. Although I asked for no topping, the drink included some type of jelly? I wasnt too sure whar type of jelly, but it tasted really good with the tea!! Although i got 50% sweetness, it was still pretty sweet to my liking, so I may get 25% next time. My friend also got a honey milk tea, and that drink was also really good. My friend and I shared a popcorn chicken as well. I thought 7.25 was too expensive for a small snack, but when I saw it, the portions is pretty big!!! Enough to share between 2, maybe 3, people. Overall, great place to hang out and drink some tea with your friends!!! I can tell that the quality of the tea and food is really good here!! Well come back to try the other drinks :) read more

TIP: Have you ever had a mochi muffin before? If not, you should definitely try one (or two or three) here! I ordered both their ube and pandan mochi muffins. My my my, they were so chewy and delicious! Until Teas'n You, I had never had a mochi muffin before so their mochi muffins may actually not be the best mochi muffins ever, but I definitely enjoyed eating mine. I also ordered their horchata matcha w/ bubbles and thai basil popcorn chicken. I never ever had a horchata matcha before either. Sadly, I'm not a huge fan. I'm so sorry. I ordered it because so many Yelp reviews were raving about it. I found it too sweet (even w/ the lowest sweetness setting offered) and confusing. My usual bubble tea orders are milk green tea, milk black tea, and milk jasmine tea. Their thai basil popcorn chicken, however, was delicious! It was made very well. So, why the four stars? While I definitely enjoyed their mochi muffins and thai basil popcorn chicken, I don't see myself coming here often. I would only come here for their mochi muffins (mainly because I don't know where else to get them). P.S. Teas'n You has really cute seating. If you're looking for somewhere to take your date, Teas'n You has a nice atmosphere. The music, however, is on the loud side. read more

Teas'n You has amazing flavors and I always love it every time I come back. Since it is next to Tyson's, it's pretty easy to come but very busy usually. I have noticed that their parking lot is extremely small and hard to get into, but trying to grab a parking spot is worth it for the boba. I have gotten the Sea Salt Jasmine Tea and I was disappointed that I could not find it on the new menu. However, I ordered the Horchata Matcha Milk Tea and it was pretty good. The saltiness and the sprinkles of cinnamon went surprisingly well with the milk tea, and the bubbles were very chewy and nice. I can't wait to try other flavors! read more

I haven't been back to Teas'n You in a minute, so recently I was in the area and was craving boba-decided to try some of their other drinks. I chose curbside pickup and it seemed like they were enforcing social distancing in the store. Teas'n You tends to be overly sweet so I always get it at 50% sweetness. One of my new favorites is their Horchata Matcha from them-it was perfectly balanced and the matcha worked really well with the cinnamon and it wasn't overly milky. Is this a good place to remote work?
They have a small little dining area with some tables. If you have to be on Zoom or need a quiet area it's probably not best for that. Just sitting on your laptop for an hour or two, yeah it'd be fine.

Nope, they said it's temporarily unavailable due to being "out of season" I believe it will return later in the year. If anything try the caramel macchiatea w/ grass jelly, taste almost similar
