I recently visited Teas'n You in Vienna for the first time. The 2 employees working were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that they took the time to answer my questions and make recommendations without being pushy. My only concern was the overall condition of the store. There seemed to be quite a bit of wear and tear throughout the space, and some areas felt like they could use a deeper cleaning and updating. The customer service was definitely the highlight of my visit, but improving the appearance and upkeep of the store would make for a much better overall experience. I would return because of the helpful staff and hope to see some improvements in the future.
Teas'n You has a lot of great menu items and I think it all comes down to preference of what kind of drinks you like but they are a solid tea/coffee/food spot in McLean. Horchata Matcha is one of my favorite drinks to get here and I always recommend this drink to a matcha lover. I also recommend the basil popcorn chicken and garlic parmesan fries.
Used to think this place was amazing a long time ago solely for drinks, but I feel as if recently, especially with new additions to menus, the quality of the drinks just hasn't been the same for me personally. Have visited recently a few times and have ordered their coffees and milk teas, but they seem to have less flavour/taste more watery now. The foams don't really add much for me either and aren't that flavourful. Perhaps I will finally try their sweet food options, since I've never really tried them before and they seem to be doing well here.

So I realized it's been over seven years since my first review - I'm happy to report that Teas N' You is still going strong and has expanded their menu! The very tasty popcorn chicken remains on the menu as a favorite, along with Taiwanese chicken sandwiches and tasty fusion pastries (the egg tarts, Portuguese style, are fantastic). Service is quick, friendly and efficient. While we tend to do pick up, the dining area is warm and friendly: a great place to hang out with friends or to study. Great vibes!
Sooo surprised that their matcha latte was too milky and powdery. I was expecting much better since I love their strawberry matcha but I guess the strawberry overpowers it. Their matcha alone was not good. So sad to find that. I got a BOGO and honestly didn't drink the second one.
I can't believe I've been sleeping on Taiwanese chicken sandwiches for this long. I typically have their basil popcorn which is also top tier, so juicy and crispy which is also reflected in their sandwich. This sandwich comes out piping hot and is hands down one of the juiciest yet crispiest chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The sauce paired with the fresh cucumber is so good, the sandwich was literally dripping as I ate it--in the best way possible. You can tell it's made to order, so be prepared to wait a little bit--but it's absolutely worth it. Truly restaurant-quality food. Definitely worth the prices. I've frequented this place over the past year and can confidently say all of their teas are quali-tea as well. This was my first time trying their coffee though, and wow, I was missing out. It was so smooth, not overly sweet, and featured really fun Asian-inspired flavors. The ube was so good that I already plan on coming back later this week to try their pandan flavors. The seating and ambiance are really nice too. There are cute window-side seats perfect for groups of two, as well as tables that work for larger groups. It can get busy at times, and while they do have outdoor seating, it's a bit too cold to enjoy that during the winter. Overall, this spot is high-quality Asian fusion done at its finest. Everything feels thoughtful, well-executed, and consistently delicious. Definitely a go-to from now on.
Great bubble tea and garlic parmesan fries! The menu has expanded over the years with cupcakes, brownies, and croissants! The teas are a bit on the sweeter side and I get them usually at 25% sweetness. The Matcha Rose Tea and Matcha Strawberry Dalgona Tea are perfect at 25% sweetness. I enjoy the milk Ube tea at 50% sweetness. I enjoyed the scrumptious and flavorful Spinach and Feta Croissant. The Ube and Pandan Croissants looked pretty tempting - next time! The Macaroons and Cream Puffs have been replaced with Cupcakes, Donuts, and Tiramisu Brownie. The Brownie was a bit dense and the Pandan Cupcake had a subtle whipped cream with a spongy brioche cake. The Donuts have a nice whipped filling - I enjoyed the Tiramisu, Ube, Pandan, and Cocolove Donuts. The Garlic Parmesan Fries are a must! I love the battered fries with diced garlic, thyme, and parmesan cheese. The combination works well together and really elevates the flavor of the fries. The creamy Basil Pesto is my favorite dipping sauce! While the Sesame sauce doesn't pair that well with the fries, it's the best salad dressing and order a side of it.
I work nearby so I usually come here on my break or after my shift to sit back and drink a Thai Tea. This is my own subjective opinion but this place has a lot of potential. I've mainly surrounded myself around west coast boba tea shops in the heart of chinatowns and so maybe my expectations are high. But I really do enjoy the tea and food here. Every worker that I've interacted with are most especially helpful and kind and the inside is cozy enough for me to sit down a bit and rest my legs after a long shift. If there was one thing I could critique I guess it would be the taste of the popcorn chicken. Maybe I'm too accustomed to the west coast popcorn chicken but the garlic taste here is amazing, but without an ample amount of salt I've found myself relying mainly on the sauce. But overall, I'm happy to be a frequent customer here.
This is a really cute tea. House to get work done. A classic Asian workspace. It's very clean and open area space. That being said, I've never been wowed by their drinks, but I do appreciate that they have a wide variety of different drinks for you to try every single time you're there. They continuously add more items and they might bring back seasonal items as well. They're more of a jack of all trades kind of tea house local boba / specialty drink spot. No one drink really stands out to me and I honestly don't recommend their Matcha because it has too much going on. That being said I haven't tried their supreme matcha, which is very similar in name to Hey Tea's matcha offerings. This time I got their pandan thai tea but the problem is that you can't really taste much of a coconut pandan flavor. To be fair, pandan is more of a sweet flavor than anything, and the drink IS sweet, even at 75%. It's quite pretty and is a cool drink to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I believe that the tiramisu brownie is a staple for them, so I wanted to get that. Again, very sweet, but it is counteracted slightly by the coffee flavor of the dessert. It's quite rich! Overall, the staff is great and they work efficiently. The decor is really nice and it's a perfect place to study and get work done.
Had to stop by and get tea and some treats when I was n the area. Definitely did not disappoint. Hoji latte with pandan cold foam was excellent it had great balance of sweat and richness of the milk with foam. I usually get it iced just by preference. I got two cookies 1 ube and 1 red velvet. They both are excellent but the ube is so tasty sweet and well balanced. It was super soft. The red velvet is really good too. It has a cookie baked into the center. Service It was very busy but servers were really nice. I got through online ordering the time it gives you on the app was pretty inaccurate. It said 40 minutes but I got the update it was ready in 15 mins. Honestly, not big deal just want people to know. Inside it has a great coffee house vibe. It was very busy when I was in there but it was Sunday so probably busier then usual. Cannot wait to go back and try again.
The menu has a lot of creative options beyond your typical boba spot. The drink selection is fun and unique. I love the pistachio milk tea and can't go wrong with ube cream cold brew for a pick me up. Love munching on the garlic parmesan fries and popcorn chicken. The donuts have have whipped filling such as Tiramisu, Ube, and. Pandan. Perfect for catching up with friends or just having a solo tea break. It can get pretty loud during peak times. Decent indoor and outdoor seating.
I love their egg tart and their horchata matcha latte!! I always make a trip out to teas' n you whenever I'm in the VA area.

I was very disappointed when I saw the staff opened my food without my permission. They said that to avoid humidity but they need to close and pack nicely when the customer pickup the order not like this so unprofessional and lack of hygiene. read more

Amazing customer service. Best teas ever and cookie box with ube puffs is just the best. We are from Chicago and we ensure we come here everyday every time we visit Virginia. I've been here a few years back to try their fancy drinks, but this time I wanted to try their basic milk tea with boba. I was craving it and this completely satisfied the craving. It was a bit odd though cuz the boba was warm and the tea was cold, but I loved the texture of the boba. I got the tiramisu milk tea and loved it so much that I decided to go back for seconds later that day. I don't think I downed bubble tea like that quicker than I did at this place. Haven't been here since pre-covid and wow teas n you got a major upgrade! They've opened the space more and despite the small space, they're still able to make use of it by creating private and open tables. The all natural interior and yellow lighting give a very cozy feel! I got the sea salt jasmine tea with coffee jelly and it was super yummy. I could actually taste the sea salt flavor once I mixed it and the jasmine tea blends well with it. I haven't tried their food yet but I'll definitely be returning to try their treats! read more

ORDER- 1) chicken sandwich combo (SRIRACHA AIOLI) - sandwich was interesting... it was almost like the chicken was wet, I don't know how to explain it. The sriracha aioli was supperrr spicy. 2) garlic parm fries - just your classic fries with parm on it. No complaints, no compliments. 3) fusion fruit tea?? - I can't remember the name but this drink was so so good. Less toppings would be better but I still really enjoyed it. Has like lychee, strawberries, etc. 4) unicorn macaron - kind of a birthday cake taste. I love the sprinkles. I love macarons. This was like a 4/5. I'd get it again for sure. Really solid boba (or non-boba) teas. That is pretty much the first requirement for a place like this. They allow you to customize to your preferences. Moderately fast service. The kiosk is fine; I would recommend ordering online ahead of time. There is no one at a counter to help if you don't know what you want. The popcorn chicken is popular and well-known for a reason. Nicely seasoned, and plentiful portion (you can share). You can get sauces and spices on the side in case you and your partner have different tolerance levels. Not particularly inexpensive, but you won't feel ripped off, either. read more
Teas'n You is a cute little spot in Tysons for a range of savory snacks, sweet treats and drinks that goes way beyond tea. The afternoon I was there I actually opted for their special Vietnamese iced coffee which you can customize to your preferred level of sweetness. A friend went savory with the chicken sandwich while I went sweet with the tiramisu brownie. The chicken sandwich was a good size and came with a tasty sauce. The brownie was really good and also big enough to share. The seating area is small but they have managed to fit in several tables, including little ones for two right up against the walls and windows. It's a fun place to sit and relax. The ordering is done via their app or the onsite computer terminal. It is straightforward and easy. They are a cash only business so keep that in mind. The staff was friendly but I found it a little hard to get their attention when I had questions. I just ended up winging it, but, it would have been nice to get more information. The order also took a little longer than I expected, especially considering that the cold items just needed to be taken off a shelf or poured from a pitcher. That brownie though - worth the wait. Food - 4 service and ambiance - 4.5 I got the melon slush with jelly and will be honest and say I have never got this kind of drink before. It's hard for me to make a good assessment of the place as a whole as such. It tastes like a melon bar which is good. Doesn't taste chemically at all - milky and refreshing. The service was fast enough (kiosk ordering) and it's got more seating inside than I was expecting but not large either. We were lucky to get a spot. There is outdoor seating as well. I saw a picture of the strawberry matcha dalgona and I knew I had to try it! This drink was creamy and overall tasted like strawberry yogurt. I didn't really taste much matcha. There were real strawberry pieces in the bottom of the drink which made it very refreshing. They also had the option for lactose free milk! I'd definitely come back to try other menu items. read more

I appreciate the relatively fast wifi but would prefer if the seats are horizontally beside each other rather than diagonally opposite so that it's easier for folks to do work together. read more
Good food, decent timing on food waiting time. They call your name when your food is ready. *Seasalt Jasmine Tea is not too sweet which I love. *Cream puffs was bomb. It's not too sweet, the outside is crunchy and inside is sweet and sorta cold which makes it really good. The portion for the cream puff is huge though so it is shareable. *Popcorn chicken with the siracha like sauce is good and crunchy and flaoring is good. *Crinkle cookies are delicious warm. Get it warm. *Seating is good for small 2 - 3 people type of party when sitting inside. If you have a group of more than 3, you don't have much choice to sit inside so outside is better. Teas'n You is one of my favorite places to go for bubble tea! Cozy vibes inside with great quality and unique options to choose from. Herbal Hibiscus 10/10 - topped w mixed berries and lychee jelly - fruity and so refreshing - perfect level of sweetness We ordered through the touch pad and our drinks were done fairly quick. I came on a Thursday night, and it was packed! I can definitely see why they were packed. They have a great selection of drinks and some food options, along with some desserts like cream puffs. I decided to get the strawberry fields drink with whole milk, regular sweetness, and normal ice. I also got boba in it. I thought the drink was solid. I thought it could have been a bit sweeter, but I definitely prefer a drink that isn't sweet enough opposed to one that is too sweet. The boba had really great texture. I also thought I could have asked for light ice. The service was pretty good, and the boba came out fairly quickly considering I came at a busy time. The shop is very cute, and it is a great place to hang around or study. I would definitely come back here in the future to try out some of their other drinks and food options! read more

A great place to get a drink and shareables with friends. It's right by Tyson's Corner Mall, which is convenient when you're in the area. The self-service is nice and the wait isn't too bad when getting food. I know I've reviewed this establishment in the past but I wanted to give an update. It's been a few months since my first encounter and since then I've been here at least once a month. I would go more but I'm not in the area as often as I would like. I love that not only does this place have teas they have a huge macaron selection and I'm a huge sucker for those treats. So on this trip I got tiramisu and viet coffee macaron, basil popcorn chicken, garlic parmesan fries, and a strawberry matcha dalgona with coffee jelly. Everything was soo good and helped me keep my energy up for my somewhat long day. I really enjoy the staff here because they're always so kind no matter how busy or empty. They helped me pick what drink to get and I love it was one they've personally had. I prefer those recommendations than what's popular with guests. Seating is tight, however because I came early I snagged a nice spot by the game shelf. I decided to pull out guess who and connect 4 because I was feeling nostalgic. They will warm up the cookie for you. It was so good. The ube cream cold brew is strong, so you can't really taste the ube. The coco taro slush is pretty sweet, but I liked it. There are flan and taro chunks at the bottom. I can't wait to try more of their menu items! It's self serve and there is a tablet. The seats are benches and have cute pillows. Great little spot, a cozy tea house with friendly staff though you order from a kiosk so you don't really interact with them. I had the Brown sugar Milk tea and it was absolutely fantastic! I do it with 50% sugar and it is still sweet as you would expect from the name but not over the top. read more

I usually love the desserts here (the tiramisu brownie is AMAZING) but I recently tried the new strawberry shortcakes and it was not fresh...Presentation was absolutely fantastic but the cakes themselves were dry. The texture unfortunately reminded me of stale cornbread. However, the frosting was great I wish there was more of it! The service here is great, I just wish the cakes I received had better quality. read more

So glad I finally tried this place! I've been on the hunt for good Vietnamese coffee and this place has GOT it! (Coming from California, I wanted something like home) I got the ube foam coffee and the base is super strong and dark (yum)! It had the characteristic Vietnamese chicory-esque smoky flavor. The foam had great ube flavor and was super thick and creamy. The combo makes for a great treat and totally hit the spot. The egg tarts were a great surprise! Black sesame was a hit with my family and I personally loved the ube. The crusts are light and flake and the custard was super smooth. Not too sweet! The kids working were super helpful and very quick. Store is clean and there's ample seating. I love the little window seats! Bathrooms were clean! Can't wait to come back and try more. read more

We came here for a little snack and we were so happy to see the basil popcorn chicken on the menu. The menu had a mix of sweet and savory items to choose from. We ended up ordering the popcorn chicken, garlic Parmesan fries, and I got the Taiwanese chicken sandwich. Of course I couldn't turn down a classic Thai tea, so I ordered one of those. They had an option to order at the counter or touch screen. We opted for the touch screen, but looking back I think ordering at the counter would have been faster because there were so many items on the touch screen menu to get through to complete our order. Overall I really liked the sandwich because it was very filling and really hit the spot in the moment. It was heavier than a snack and I would say it was a small meal. It was like a big piece of popcorn chicken with creamy green aioli between a bun. I would come back for it. My Thai tea was okay. I think I'll opt for a higher level of sweetness next time. My husband enjoyed his popcorn chicken and fries. He didn't get a drink because he wanted something not coffee or tea. He was able to get water at a self serve station, which was convenient. The vibe inside was nice and wasn't very crowded when we went on a Sunday evening. The seating was cozy with some soft pillows available on the chairs. read more

I've been here twice now. Justin was friendly and helped me choose the right drink. Last time, it was the jasmine green tea with salted caramel topping at half sweetness. I loved the floral notes paired with a creamy dense foam topping. It brought me back for a second! This time I tried the Thai tea, again with the salted caramel foam topping. Hey, I'm another girl from California here. After reading great reviews and knowing I was going to be in town and having a craving for some good boba, I decided to visit. To my delight, I was pleasantly surprised! I got a Matcha Boba Latte with Ube cream/foam (someone on here recommended it (thank you), and it did not disappoint)! The boba was warm--the way it should be--extra points for that. They also gave out free stickers at the counter. The only thing, as others have mentioned, is that the place does have a strong food smell. But nevertheless, the drinks are delicious and a must try. read more
One of my favorite boba spots in NoVa! The spicy basil popcorn chicken is always so good, as well as the Fruity Pebbles macaron. I started getting the lychee lemonade which is good. I wish they would bring back the mojito drinks because those used to be my favorite. I think the interior has definitely improved but has potential to be cozier. Is this a good place to remote work?
They have a small little dining area with some tables. If you have to be on Zoom or need a quiet area it's probably not best for that. Just sitting on your laptop for an hour or two, yeah it'd be fine.

Nope, they said it's temporarily unavailable due to being "out of season" I believe it will return later in the year. If anything try the caramel macchiatea w/ grass jelly, taste almost similar
