Listed below are the four different teas we got ... - Liquid Gold ( This was quite sweet, we recommend 75 - 80 % sweetness ) - Grapefruit Garden ( This tea we recommend keeping at 100 % sweetness ) - Taro Lover ( This tea is quite versatile and can be enjoyed at any sweetness ) - Watermelon Spring Special ( This tea was again quite sweet but with the addition of watermelon seeds and lychee it balanced quite well with the high level of sweetness ) The prices were fair for the quality of the tea we had. This is actually one of my favorite boba places in the area. The staff are really nice and manager is always helpful! I usually get the strawberry matcha boba with oatmilk. It tastes almost better than Boba Guys (since we have none in the south bay). If you want something similar, you should go get it here. read more

In my opinion, teaspoon is the best boba chain in the Bay Area. First of all, they brew all of their teas with real tea instead of powdered or packaged teas, which gives it a much cleaner, natural flavor and aroma. Second, they use real milk (or oat milk now) instead of condensed or powdered milk, also a much fresher choice. Into that great foundation goes toppings like fresh mint, lemon, or grapefruit (try the virgin mojito). I think the boba itself isn't perfect, sometimes it can taste a little stale depending on when you go, but most of the time it's pretty good and better than most other boba shops. read more

This place is incredibly hard to find in this huge plaza. If i wasn't with my friend who really wanted it, I probably would have given up and left. Its tucked away behind a lot of restaurants, I wish that there was a sign somewhere on the sidewalk like there are for the other stores. Besides that, they are open during the pandemic and are taking orders from outside, so you don't have to enter the store. However, it was incredibly difficult for me to order. The cashier was standing really far away and as we were both wearing masks, i basically had to yell for her to be able to hear me. I understand staying 6ft away but she was more than 12 feet away, maybe they could put a glass/plastic screen up at the door so that they can come closer to take orders. The drink was good though and consistent with other teaspoon locations. Might try it again and update my review if the ordering process becomes better. read more

Feel like eating something cold and refreshing? Or, drinking your own tea creation? Teaspoon serves up the most unique "ice cream" I've ever tasted! Actually, it's called "snow ice" a combination of ice cream and dry ice (guessing) that is light and tasty. However they do it, it's definitely worth checking out! I ordered 'The Snow Panda' which includes vanilla snow ice, little chunks of vanilla mochi & crushed Oreo cookies. You get a huge portion, so I recommend you share. Teaspoon also serves up some fabulous iced teas that are very popular. I am a FAN of Teaspoon! It's not the typical boba shop -- it truly is high quality tea shop with many unique options for everyone in my family! I had the hojicha which is a roasted rice green tea with the almond jelly. OMG - SO DELICIOUS! Seriously I will now be dreaming about getting a bowl of that almond jelly on the next visit..... We also tried the grapefruit garden refresher with aloe and loved it as well. It's more of a refresher drink perfect for the non traditional milk tea drinkers in the group. My son tried the Snow Panda which is the Vanilla snow with oreo, mochi, and condensed milk. It was the perfect consistency and not very sweet and he loved it. He's one picky eater too! What a cute little Teaspoon store. I tried the Grasshopper today and I personally did not like it. But the workers are always so fast. I would say it's usually busy when I come here but I get my drink out in under 5 minutes. I think most shops overcompensate by making their pearls really sweet and I don't like that. The drinks are great, the service is awesome, but I genuinely think the Mango On Fire needs to be taken off the menu: taste aside, it's made so thick that the paper straws provided actually collapse when you try to suck it through the straw. Second of all, the combination of mango and Tahin is not as good as the menu makes it out to be, would absolutely not recommend. Other than that it's a great place, would come again :) read more

Foodie checking in! First of all I wanted to say how much I enjoy the tea from Teaspoon franchise. They are one of the few franchises where you can actually taste the tea without having the milk overpower the drink. Having been an Elite yelper in the past I tend to read others reviews. Having said this i encourage readers to understand that these reviews are subjective. In response to the yelp review about the employees coming across as racist- really? To that yelper- you're such a yeti!! Out of curiosity I took a look at this individuals yelp reviews.. he writes mostly negative reviews with connotations and claims of establishments being racist. Pretty harsh if you ask me! By reading your review you come across as being racist!. Get a life! I'm sure losing a customer such as the individual below will actually be better for business in the long run! Shop owners have the equal right to refuse rude and obnoxious customers. I have been to this location a many a times including the one in Santa Clara off el Camino and the one off of Saratoga and I can assure you that these kids work hard- for many It's probably their first job. Haven't grabbed any teas lately due to lockdown, now I have and it's solid. Got myself lychee tea over here and it is good, the milk tea is alright though. The bottles they sell are pretty cool too. Might come back for different flavors like the smoothie offerings. read more

I consider myself lucky to live so close to Teaspoon. I love their teas especially the classic Thai ice tea that I always get with their honey boba and lychee jelly. It's a classic combination that never goes wrong. Their milk teas and fruit teas are great too. An evening stroll, a quick grocery run or window shopping is never complete without one of these delicious things! read more

I doordash boba from here once or twice a week. On 6/12/2020 at around 9pm I ordered 2 taro lover , one dalgona with boba, and one liquid gold. Whoever was making drinks that night made THE BEST boba!!!!! All of our drinks tasted beyond perfect! My dalgona didn't taste watered down at all! We were all so happy with our drinks! Parking can be difficult and the place can get really crowded but the drinks are made fast. I never find myself waiting too long. There's some seatings but not enough for big gatherings. The employees are always friendly and helpful, always smiling no matter how busy they are. I like that I can adjust the ice level here on some of the drinks (so that my drinks are not watered down by the time I get home). My favorite drinks here are: Grasshopper- Cooling and refreshing on a summer's day. You can taste both the lychee and the cucumber. Flamingo- Also another refreshing drink but with a little tartness of the passion fruit. While some might be bothered by the passion fruit seeds in the drink, I love them. Pina Colada- It's really delicious even though it's not one of my favorite. It's creamy and the taste of coconut and pineapple are both equally present. read more

Teaspoon is okay. I think they have better fruit teas than milk teas. I had a hard time reading their menu on the tv screens but that is probably because my eyesight is bad. They have individual smaller menus that you can look at near the register. I got the creamy jasmine with grass jelly. The drink was okay, I wish it was a bit thicker though. In our excitement, my friend and I got 3 drinks and a snow ice to share. TLDR;; it didn't live up to its hype Drinks: - The Jasmine Green Milk Tea tasted watered down. - The Japanese Rice Milk Tea really tastes like rice water, which isn't my taste (not their fault at all btw. I heard it's a popular drink, but I also wish the cashier told me that there were samples of it by the register when I asked about it..I guess it's also my fault I didn't see) - The Ladybug was a little too sour for both me and my friend. I love their grasshopper tea, but have expanded a bit to enjoy a few more: grasshopper tea with grapefruit, matcha with strawberry, and Tara root. All were delicious! It can definitely be pricey; my teas usually run between six and eight dollars apiece. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I went in today, giving them another chance. I was in the afternoon and ordered my drink. It was a bit on the busy side, which is totally understandable as school just got out of session. As I was waiting for my drink to be made, I thought I would catch on my email. I finally look up on the counter 10 minutes after ordering my drink, that there were 2 drinks, unannounced. Usually, the staff would call out your order and name, not this time around. I was a bit disappointed because in the past, the staff use to be on top of things and are friendly. Not this time around. Not sure if I'd be back to support this location. read more

Now there are 2 teaspoons in vicinity of my workplace!! What a takeover. I've been going to this place since their soft opening and thoroughly enjoy this over the Moorpark one. It's way more spacious and quieter in a able to study way. It's also nicely decorated. I usually get the lady bug which is passionfruit juice. It's tarte, refreshing and not too sweet - just how I like it! I've had it plenty times and each time is pretty consistent. Customer service is always quick and attentive. My coworkers and I end up here at least once a week! The only thing that makes me wary about this place is the parking situation. Lunch/dinner is horrible and there's people everywhere so it can be tricky to find a spot. read more

The definition for teaspoon is: A small spoon used typically for adding sugar and stirring hot drinks or for eating some soft foods. Also I remember Mary Poppins telling me just a tea spoon of sugar... can make the medicine go down something of that nature, I forgot. I have just recently found out this place has more than one location. In fact I believe that its first location was in San Francisco. I am more of a supporter of smaller businesses and rare finds that I am franchises, yet I have to say I do like teaspoon a lot! This location around the pruneyard has made it easier for me to get my boba fix. There as always seems to be a line, which at times moves quickly depending on day. I APPRECIATE how small and intimate this place is, and highly clean. If your gonna go please get the green tea or the milk tea. I would give this place 5 stars for the following reasons: * Clean, fun environment * Variety of drinks, including decaffeinated options * Wonderful location and the only decent Boba place within a 4 mile radius * Nice staff But I didn't give it five stars for the following reason: the wait is getting to be too long! In fact I haven't come on certain occasions because the wait is line moves way too slowly. I really wish there were two registers or at least someone who can help the novice Boba drinker who takes forever to order. It's also annoying when the one person running the cash register often has to also put the toppings in the cups between taking drink orders. If service was faster and/or there was an online order option, I would come more often! read more
